I thought Samson played ok . Didn't have much to do , but looked assured when called upon.
...except for his sweeper impressions. Gave me palpitations each time he tried it.
God, Manuel Neuer has a lot to answer for... -
Certainly a lot snugger than anything from JD, good grief.
It is indeed. Bought a large for myself and it felt almost skin-tight. I let my brother try it on - he's built like a rake and it fit perfectly...
Went back and swapped it for a 2XL which is slightly baggy on me. Currently wearing it and it's nice and comfy!! -

Don't know, it's all Greek to me... -

...meanwhile in other news, JD Sport are selling their Saints gear a good £10 cheaper in Braehead than the Paisley Centre store.
Not criticising or adding to the discussion at hand, just a helpful tip to those still Christmas shopping -
Lived around Paisley, but never in it...
Moved about as a kid, living in East Kilbride, Austin TX, Bishopton, Erskine and Dumbarton before moving to Glasgow for a first (failed) attempt at Uni, then Dublin for a slightly more successful one. As such, I watched the League Cup win from a pub on O'Connell St while the parade went past outside.
Despite moving about while in school, I sang in the Abbey choir for 3/4 years and was driven past Love Street about 10 times a week. Attended my first game in about 2004/2005 (a friendly against Rangers which we would've won had Klos not played out of his skin) and the rest is, apparently, geography.
Moved back to Scotland in August last year and have been in Johnstone ever since. -
How's about?
"Consistency is only a virtue if you're not a screwup." -
I was of the belief that my 12 quid a month allow me to affect major decision making at the club by providing me with a right to vote. It's quite a major decision to sack the manager without consultation of the stakeholders.
We don't own the club yet... -
FFS, WE GOT f**kING KNOCKED OUT AND WE ARE NOT IN TODAY'S DRAW.
We bottled it against Part Timers.
Didn't realise Hamilton were part time... -
I like it and so does my brother. My girlfriend, however, says it looks girly...

Really? 1000 fans x £240 a year = £240,000. Every little helps but with a similar support/fan base as us I still wonder how they are able to pay larger salaries than us?
I assume that's on top of their regular wage budget made up from season tickets, league money, sponsorship etc
-
Good point , I can't seem to find anything on that either but there may well be .... I've messaged George Adam to ask the ? So i will post if he replies
Thanks for that - I'm in the middle of researching an essay on the topic for my fundraising module at Uni and it just struck me that I hadn't seen anything.

Haven't read the full thread so may have missed it, but is there a leave-a-legacy option in the bid funding process? And if not, why not?

We're almost into February and have just won our first home game of the season against Alloa Athletic.
And folk are celebrating like we've won the World Cup.
Sums up how shite we really are.
Ah well, every silver lining has a cloud...
Glad to (finally) get the win - onwards and upwards!!!

Apparently we've signed a Alex Cooper until the end of the season, after his release from Falkirk.
Welcome to the Saints, Alex!!!
-
Would like to see us finish top 4, however I'm not too pushed this season - can see it being a season of consolidation.
Just as long as we finish above Dumbarton and Morton - I don't think I could put up with my step-dad if we finish below Dumbarton in my first season back in Scotland...
-
Might i remind you he`s spent the last couple of years at Dumbarton.
...thanks!!
-
Can understand why he's signed for them, might as well make some stupid money while he can...
I don't actually wish him harm personally but I hope his knee goes again and Sevco are stuck paying silly wages while he's on the sidelines!!
