In that game against dunfermline on Espn we were passing the ball about in short sharp moves all the time going forward, I remember watching it thinking this isn't the team I've always supported. That's what we've lost. When we give a team time to set up that doesn't work. The urgency and directness has gone in the past 2 seasons. Direct does t have to be long balls.
Apart from having a whole midfield apart from teale who are centre midfielders I think we've got a good starting 11. For me Goodwin isnt a centre half though. His headless chicken role needs a centre half behind him to mop up his mistakes. He's good at breaking up play but for me he can't be the last line of defence before the keeper an I reckon cheesey would look a lot better beside a solid centre half.
Rambilng nonsense over, am I reading too much into it that st mirren didn't post Danny's post match comments on facebook and Twitter after the game? Usually do.

Are st mirren playing at Wembley tonight?
Christ they are as well. Just checked my messages. Got one from lovestreet saying were down there with 11 trialists.

Are st mirren playing at Wembley tonight?I heard a rumour that we're currently one up at Wembley. Fcuk me, it's true!

Wasn't going anyway but its the child price that's the most ludicrous. Kids should be free or a few quid tops.

The season is only just about to start and you've sent me into a spiral of depression!
Come on would you rather we were still sitting getting the old Robbie winters shite every window. Sight tight and wait and see if anything's bubbling away.
-
There's always the next window. This thread will never be fully redundant. Long live the lovestreet transfer news. I'm sitting tight.I have to say I have thoroughly enjoyed the close season and with only a couple of days left I hope I have for some fans i made it pass more quickly and helped them during dark days.
I thank all my followers and I accumulated over 800 PM's throughout the close season which I replied to the vast majority of,special mention to my close allies on here and Insaintee is a legend thanks for the comps tonight.
My thread may face redundancy for a period of time however Lovestreet will be going nowhere and will always be here for any advice my followers need.
I would also like to mention during the season I will be selling my home made marmalade at a very reasonable £2 a jar. PM for details.
Once again thank you all.
Sit tight things are bubbling away.

Sadly, it does, £2000 a week apparently.
Or maybe its got something to do with being pretty much ever present the whole season. Who had more appearances than him bar Sammy? The fuxake cheesey brigade don't get it. The guy played pretty much every game in a cup winning team and I think was voted in the top 5 in the player of the season vote on this very site. Surely that entitles the guy to be paid a decent wage.
Granted footballers get paid far to much, but that's not his fault.

Therapy?
THats the only one I can think of with a question mark.

There is nothing disrespectful posted and the news came from the facebook page set up by the family to help find the missing man. Its a topic which has been all over paisley and plenty of people on here no doubt know the guy.

Did Phil not announce pre match Chris Smith as Saints no.2 keeper in the week after rumours started about Adam's alleged indiscretions? That would explain any ill feeling.
That was after the night out they had.
-
They've posted as much on facebook. Its not far from the last known sighting of him.
Doesn't look good for the young lads family (Docherty) who have been searching for him for around a week.

As the title says. Male body recovered from polsons dam. Being identified tomorrow. Grim news.

I usually find Drew's ramblings hard to understand, but I think I might be able to help here. In my humble opinion, what Drew is saying is this....
The rumour is that on a certain night, Lewis Guy may or may not have wanted to kick Phil Clark's head in.
On a totally different night, that same sentiment was felt by a section of people irked by Phil's ad-libbing, as we waited patiently for the open top bus to arrive in County Square.
Different nights - same announcer - same feelings of needing a boot in the baws.
Not by me, I hasten to add. Whoever decided the press should be on the stage with the team almost invisible a level below them is the person who needs their stones kicked.
Ah I get you now. However it was grant Adam I was talking about haha.
-
So he was waiting in County Square for the open top bus to arrive too? *coughs*
Youve got me, I'm baffled. I was talking about the Monday night.
-
Whatever was paid to get shot of Grant Adam was money well spent!
What was the deal with him? Was talk of gross misconduct but no-one ever elaborated. The night the squad were out on the piss he wanted to kick the stadium announcers head in, was it something to do with that?
-
Yheres a lot of talk on here about other clubs offering more money, maybe a bit more money isn't worth relocating to Aberdeen for. The training ground and facilities must come into it as well I'd have thought. Agree that if fit Grainger would be a great signing.

I never thought I could read on a kindle then Argos started doing the Barnes and noble version (nook) for 29 quid. Not read a real book since. The one thing I miss though is knowing your getting to the end when the pages in your right handget less. Sad i know.

Just got the pm about Saturdays signing. Exciting news but remaining tight lipped. Can't help but feel the simmering bubble that's bubbling away is about to turn into a rolling boil. Great news lovestreet

What's the rumour?
