Only Tunnocks Tea Cakes available were... dark chocolate, which is fine for me but The Boss isnae sae keen...

Even worserer - No Tunnocks Caramel Wafers!!!                     Of any hue or flavour!  :o

I have to ask... are all of the 5 million made every week in the Scottish factory, now being consumed every week by greedy fat basturts in Scotland?

    Reported for racism. 😂

I’m not diminishing it, it’s just the terminology I chose to use.

I agree but it wasn’t one there was any appetite for, evidenced in the members vote numbers.

Maybe there wasn't, but the reasoning behind it was for situations we now find ourselves in. IMO shows that saving or at least the option was a sensible option.

That vote was save it until after the completion as a nest egg sort of fund.

This is save it for a future option Or future need sort of thing. which is pretty much what a no vote has always done anyway. they’ve just changed the wording a bit.

Eh? Are you at the wind up.

The lack of labour could be, if it's not already, a problem up here.

We have a lot of farms and, although quite a number have become residents in the town, there will be a requirement for more soon.

As far as I heard Brexit was only going to have a minimal affect but this is a different ball game.

As for Smokies, who cares, not my scene.

Kidding apart the outlets that sell them have reopened after a short spell of closure.

I always pop into the wee smokehouses for some stuff to take down the road when I'm up fishing. Can't beat it. The world famous pie bobs pastry emporium as well 😂

You understand that since I posted those numbers almost the entire world has been under a lockdown right?

You also understand that those predictions were based on nothing changing right?

There's a reason I'm calling Faraway an idiot and it looks like you are joining him.

You're numbers have been f**ked from the very beginning 😂😂😂

I'm really not sure where you are going with the whataboutery in this post.
You seem to have completely ignored my point about the amount of deaths we are having.

    Also, where is the sensationalism?

I've just read a report stating deaths could peak around 3000 a day in UK later in around 10 days time.

That's not far off what oaksoft said albeit his dates were out.

I really hope he continues to be wrong.

He didn't carry his on that far but follow his graph and see where his daily deaths would have been in 10 days time. Absolutely miles away from 3000, it would have been the end of the world on his graph.

I didn't ignore it, I said it's tragic, as is 23k people a day dying from hunger.

Its not whataboutery either. Every man and their dog is on a high horse with this, more people die from trivial things every day, and none of those were watching having a pissing contest give a f**k because it doesn't affect them. That's not whataboutery. That's the selfish nature of people. Don't give a f**k until it has a chance of affecting them.

Sorry to inform you you have just been categorised as.................

    Stupid

    Not taking "this" seriously

    Part of a gang

Oh, not understanding a stupid graph.

    😂

I've not given an opinion on it deliberately. Nobody has any idea how seriously I'm taking it because I don't want involved.

What I understand from that graph is that the graph in question is a bag of shite. I'm taking that as seriously as it deserves to be taken.

Yeah, his figures might have been out but the actual figures are awful and we are on a worse trajectory than Italy.

Hisnfigures aren't just out, they are absolutely miles out. Laughably so.

23000ish people died in the world today due to hunger and malnutrition. Arguably an easier fix than the fix for a new virus. For the most part that doesn't affect us in the developed world so people don't really give a f**k.

Both tragic, but let's not be sensationalist about just 1 of them because it affects or has great potential to affect us while the other doesn't.

You really are a f**king idiot bud.

How? You were absolutely f**king miles out. Quoting numbers that hadn't been seen anywhere in the world. We all just don't get it though because you're too clever 😂. Let this one go and hope everybody forgets.

You could always kid on you're panic buying bog roll to take the heat off. Shit. Wait....

He told me that he copied and pasted, though he couldn't even say that properly, I had to decipher it. emoji38.png

What you on about? He said it perfectly correctly. Regardless of the words he used. Your just too stupid to understand what he meant of course.

Too late group 4 already booked, unless you want to share it? :P

I replied before I'd read the whole thread. Was hoping nobody noticed and put me in a group with that clown. I'll be the 5th group then thanks 😂

Largely offline enjoying the first day of spring. I'd recommend it to others.

I'm not Baz and I'm not getting drawn into dozens of pages of defensive arguments so I'll make this brief. I've had my say on this issue, posted my graphs and predictions, which I will continue to update when trends change and I've nothing much more to add other than the following.

There are 3 groups who've read my posts on this.

Group 1 consists of people who at least grasp what I am trying to do with my graphs and predictions. This groups includes cockles, w6er TPAK thing and maybe one or two others that I've forgotten. Not one of us is sitting hoping my numbers are accurate. Our parents and loved ones are as much at risk of this f**king thing as everyone else's and we like to have a feel for when things MIGHT get very risky for them. I'll update as the trend changes. Happy to answer questions from this group.

Group 2 consists of those who have no demonstrable understanding of computational modelling whatsoever and have no serious alternatives to provide but despite this they are strangely over-confident in their criticism. I think they are in denial but that's their right.  On this issue, I have no interest in wasting my time trying to change the minds of closed minded people. You are in this group with slarti, antrin and the f**kwit Biology teacher @FTOFwho, since he no longer has a job at the moment teaching kids to the test, has decided he wants to persuade us that overnight he has become an expert in all things to do with genetics.  He only has a partial foot in this group though.

Group 3 consists of people who are too stupid to engage with or deliberately lie and misrepresent things as fact when they are not and there really is no point engaging with them at all. shull, Dickson, hiram and a small number of others are in this group. @FTOF has the rest of his feet in this group as well.

    There's a 4th group that I fall into that don't give a single f**k about your graphs

Good for her. That generation won't sit around waiting to be patronised and controlled by the likes of you.

The industry I work in has been decimated. Jobs already lost all over the place. My work has cut 450k from the forecast until the end of April and were already seeing the lowest paid members of staff on the weakest contracts get cut or binned completely.

99 per cent of the people in the industry would survive this virus, but places are closing to protect that generation and others who are not so well placed to deal with a new virus. But I'm glad you think it's good of them to do what the f**k they want.

Plenty of small businesses will never open after this, some big ones too. But your right. Let the old f**kers go to the butcher while people are losing jobs because of recommendations not to go to pubs, restaurants etc.
