This is such a 50/50 game, winnable for both teams and expectation great on both teams. A display like the one against celtic I think would win us the trophy by a few goals. Fingers crossed!

Where is the train station at Edinburgh airport?
Where is the extensive underground in Edinburgh?
It's cool to have a whinge but at least get your facts right or keep your west coast bile to yourself.
1. there is a rail station opening shortly at edinburgh airport.
2. glasgow's underground has existed for well over 100 years and links a small part of of the city.
3. Bile? A bit sensitive, eh?

All of the above.
Bring the Costa Clyde closer to the town centre.
To not have apartments along the river is a missed opportunity.
We should consider how close, distance wise, we are to the universities in Glasgow.
Rents in Glasgow's west end and city centre are high.
I know it will never happen, but if there was a direct rail link into Glasgow that crossed the Clyde and travelled along the north side of the river and ran through Partick it would boost Paisley as a satellite town.
getting train lines in scotland is an impossible task unless you are from edinburgh. regardless of the hot air coming from holyrood, it's still roads, roads, roads. It's a national disgrace that there is no train link to glasgow airport. separate rant, but a rant nonetheless.

so much shite from so many hypocrites. get oot yer car and walk. oh, i need tae park 5mins from the shops, what am i going to do: f**kin' walk. pedestrianisation has had little affect on shopping; braehead and silverburn, has.
abysmal town planning has had as much of an effect tbh.

my plan for paisley:
1. blow up the piazza and open the river again.
2. turn old building in the centre into town houses and offices so there are more people in the centre on a daily basis.
3. develop the riverside with shops, cafes, bars to service the people in the area.
then go from there.

Calum Paterson ruled out for remainder of Hearts season with ankle injury. Big plus for us, I always thought he looked dangerous any time I saw him this season.
what are the definite outs for hearts now?

Liked two comments I read today.
1) "Well that's the end of the season for Green's Rangers Tribute Act.
and
2) Rangers will be spinning in their grave over that result.
the second one is a belter. Loved the repertoire today. The Cranberries "zombie" was genius as well.

Thommo is god!

He's known by his first name ! So , like in the book about the white whale , it's ish - ma - yel !
ish ma yel, my lord, ish ma yel (the the tune of koombaya). This is guaranteed to get any party in the stands going!

good stuff - mon the portugese!

Disagree a bit bud....Early Danny......Total football and pumped big time?......Latter Danny shut up shop and pumped with less goals but more embarrassment...Last game would get football stopped!....Realy hard for him in this game to be honest ....He has to give us something of a chance and win or lose show we can match Arbroath in giving Celtic a game.
There's a difference between getting forward quickly, using wing backs and trying to cause problems for them and suicidal passing amongst our less than talented defenders.
-
it's really important we genuinely have a go here. The worst defence in the spl cowering in our own half like we have in every game we've played under danny against celtic will cause rage (for me anyway).
Having a go and losing - fair play.
having a go and winning - mardi gras in mount florida.

more dwom dwyer goodness

Good point, but we do have a lot of offensive "fans" at our club. Some verbal. Some just feckin ugly.
maybe that's when the new bar comes into it's own. they can all meet up after the match and rant and rave away.
-
i read he's won an award in the states for being an "offensive player" . Do we need someone who has been awarded for being a pr*ck signing for the club?
-
wish he had been playing for us today !
the same could be said for jackie copland

I was sceptical, then got behind it, but when I saw one of the main players quite casually telling supporters some big fat whoppers, then I thought it was time to head for the exits.
If other folk are happy to stay with a bid where the main man has been shown to openly lie to SMFC supporters, then to paraphrase the late, great SunnyFoxbarSaint, "Yer aff yer f**kin' heid".
can you go into any details on what was being said?

It was a magnificent present.
Just as well we didnae play Ayr United.
The Festive Season wid have been shit.
The league is the true marker of progress and progress we have. Cups are the nice holidays we have to get away from it all, but the league is the mortgage.

This really annoys me about some saints fans! We see about 5mins of McQuade in a game and 'hes not a player' and 'he'll never make it'. Judge him once he has played at least a handfull of games then you may be entitled to say hes not good enough, but you never know he may surprise you! But i guess youve already made up your mind.
Agreed. Mcshane and mcquade could both be assets to the club over the coming season. Give them a chance.

I get the impression that harkins is another Charlie Adam. Blows hot and cold, has loads of potential, can easily turn into a fat bas, but on his day can out play most. Shame we never seemed to be in the frame for this.
-
cracking signing for killie.
-
I see Gary Harkins has asked his agent to talk to Killie!
Wee Danny wants an attacking mid does he not??
Defo worth asking about I think and defo better than Gary McDonald!!!
if this is true, this is definitely the type of player we could realistically attract.

There's something more sinister to the route of this i'm sure. The routes from glasgow city centre to the airport involve existing rail and lots of "dead ground" where it should be easy to construct a route without much disruption. Edinburgh was given the ok to dig up main arteries in the city centre at a massive expense to the tax payer so they could have a rail link to the airport.
Could it be that Holyrood are east coast centric??
