There's a word for today's image - and it's NOT 'modesty'!
-
Because it wasn't serious criticism - as anyone with half a brain could have worked out. Get real.QUOTE (Ruggy Bairn @ Oct 22 2003, 09:21 AM)
I think this is a shocking display of hypocrisy!
Dan - you deliberately miss the point again.
You needn't agree with Ruggy - he wouldn't agree with you, I'd imagine...
Because it wasn't serious criticismIt's humour, geddit?
Lighten up!
-
"knuckle dragging neanderthal"?
Aaah...! I get it!
A Paisley expression!
-
'dominate'?!
Naw - that's Sid or CS or Lost Ud.
And I'm sure Bill widnae be the Moderator to do the mah baw thing. There are others also moderating.
-
I think you are obnoxious, arrogant and full of shit.
You comment on games that you haven't seen and you basically comment on most subjects without much authority.
You have an over inflated idea of your own self importance, I fear no one and certainly not a tedious lounge lizard pub bore like yourself.
If you pm me then we can discuss this in private and I will give you my e-mail address.Over to you Bawbag Bill
Nasty stuff, Dan. Why nasty?
You might disagree with Bill, (tho me - and others on here - find Bill to be none of the things you say, so we'd disagree with you), but no need to be nasty.
It's only a game and only opinions about a game.

The Kigo is implicit, as you'll realise,
in the notion of 'salt sea girls' - prawn fishing lassies in the spring.
Honest.
-
Bugger, pedants!
You're right though.
Just testing obviously, Tom!
How about this...
"Wish I were close as
shirt of salt sea girl to body.
I think of you, ay."
-
Sergei Baltacha and his sister...

Today's (Oct 16) fabulous image reminds me of one of the first ever Pirelli calendars. It was on the wall of a CAB office at Rootes when I was an apprentice in the Sixties...
It had a memorable (obviously, after nearly 40 years!) Japanese Haiku with it
- which was a (failed) attempt to kid everyone on that this was ART.
Here's the Haiku:
"I wish I were
as close to you
as the wet shirt
of a salt sea girl to her body.
I think of you always."
I thought then, still do, that the Haiku was more erotic than the fotie.
Today's image hits both buttons!
-
Might have know you'd be sniffin around, Bill!
-
This HAS to be a modren typical Paisley expression.
If it isnae, it ought to be - courtesy of Fannybawz in General Discussion.
the most runny of verbal diahorea seem like a real pan cracker"a real pan cracker"!
We know what he means, children, don't we?
Here's one I laid earlier...

Initial Success
by Peter Weir?
Nope, never heard of it.
Thank-goodness...
-
You HAVE mates, Lost Ud? LOL
At work - or elsewhere?
Come on, I'm willing to believe some of your postings on here, even though they're far-fetched - but that's doozy!!!
Nice one, Stuart.
-
Screw the bobbin, Tom!
-
In trying to respond to this intellectual thread - the kind I like - I checked our players' images on the Official site.
The easy one is John Cuddihy. He is the spitting image of The Invisible Man.
Why? He's the only player who is noted to be 0.00 metres tall and weighs nothing.
Who was it on this GB that made jokes about ghosts...?
-
Oh aye and 'dumping', also! Bill would never have missed that!
-
'minger'? 'farting'? 'sniffing around'? Bit of a malodorous thread this is turning intae.
She looks like quite a nice young girl to me.
-
Ah! Aye very good, then!
-
Naw it wisnae s***e. Ye just drank too much....
-
Aye we did some mad things when we were wee, didn't we?
But why this, Tom? Why the f**k...?
Used to remember going to the Storrie St baths as a boy with my cousin and on the way home sticking my head inside the Bruce Arms and shouting "NORSEMAN!!!" -
Ah widnae trust Bill on beer.
Did ye know that - oan another thread he didn't even know Ra Buds have got a beer sponsor!
Bill Lees is TT.
You heard it here, first.
-
Let me be the first to offer to rub Vick on her chest...
-
How exactly do you mean she'll change, Div?
Less garments? Don pyjamas? Maybe a skipped bunnet?
Burkha?
I'll check back occasionally to keep an eye on it...
-
Stu's clearly an Edinburgh City Police Pipe Band fan...
Aye, gaun, Stu... dae it again!

I especially appreciate the louche ambivalence of...
...in its oh-so-coy reference to the
potential for glory-hunting fans drifting to Castle Greyskull brain-deid insanity...
but mostly I like the tune.
