I said on match day thread , if we win tomorrow surely we would be 2nd favourites to lift the cup ?
Aberdeen - Dundee United final or us seems most likely now ( draw dependant obviously)
Rangers and St.Johnstone will be before us in the favourites list.
-
Don't worry. There's no danger i'll be joining in with this garbage.
Utterly embarrassing and pathetic.
-
What a hilariously shite thing to attempt.
-
Which one.
Grainger. Obviously.
-
I was excited at the Grainger signing. A strong, competent left back with a good crossing and dead ball ability.
Unfortunately it never worked out and we move on. I wish Danny all the best.
He'll probably end up at Carlisle.
-
Should've signed iwelumo and Kenneth and we'd have covered the deficiencies mentioned in the above post
What's the facination with Kenneth? He's average at best and is more prone to a bombscare moment than Mair & McAusland combined.
It's a telling sign that he's still without a club. If he was as half as good as some of the posters on here think he is, he'd be under contract with a team by now.
-
Are you actually serious with that above post?
Jesus.
-
ermmm correct me if im wrong here ...but
wasnt it Thommo the hero/legend/god that missed 2 sitters?
ye cannae always blame the manager
"It's down to the manager and TC to make sure the players are up for this game and ready to play well. Of course they can't compensate for poor performances once they cross the line onto the pitch but i'd hate to think the players would be unable to beat this team even with one or two players on an off game"
-
I suppose we could win the game if the players play well, or doesn't that count?

Hearts beat the new all improved Ross County yesterday who, if we believe some, have a GREAT manager and signed the equivalent to Ronaldo.
Hearts are weak but it's football and taking anything for granted is foolish, unless there's an agenda.
Hearts are a poor side and Wednesday should see us gain three points.
They're very poor defensively and if the manager actually changes tactics to suit the opponent, we'll win the game.

See my last post, maybe you are an alias of Lex supporting himself
Maybe you are an entirely different brand of douchebag
keep posting and we will find out
I'm a douchebag? Thats cute xx
We should be beating hearts with no problem at all, it's a team of under 20's with a few pro's and a Jamie Hamil thrown in, i expect three points.
Beating Hibs was surprising and a great three points but the performance against thistle yesterday and the 0-0 draw is unacceptable for me. That should've been a stick on 3 points.
-
We need to bare in mind that we just drew at home to Partick Thistle.
Not good enough, regardless of circumstance. We should always be beating smaller clubs like Thistle at home.
Let's hope Danny and his side make up for this failure at Tynecastle on Wedensday.
Spot on.
Unacceptable.
-
Not good enough. Terrible tactics and performance.
Does Lennon have any impact on the team during games? If he didn't turn up one Saturday i wouldn't notice. He's never out instructing anyone to do anything.
Threadbare squad doesn't help at all. He's got 6 days to sign some ready made SPL footballers that will help us climb the league
-
Our captain played as a centre half in the semi-final and the final of our glorious cup win in 2013. These games were two of our best results and performances at the highest level for many a year. Jim played his part in that at the position of centre half. I'd be happy for him to plug the gap in defence anytime.
We got absolutely battered in that final
-
Xmas has passed.
I don't think it's unreasonable to request signings like the above. Other managers seem to be able to recognise and locate the type of players they require to boost their squads.
Lennon has admitted we have a budget for signings. I hope he signs the right players. I've not been impressed with his first signing as in my opinion he's not good enough.
-
What kind of player do you wish?
A dominating central defender.
A holding midfielder that than pass, tackle and that isnt prone to smashing footballers in the face with his elbow.
A left sided player that in attack can beat a man and deliver crosses for Thommo but also defend and track back to take pressure off of our full back - Wylde doesnt cover this.
A target man style striker as back up for Thommo.
-
FFS, get a grip.
I have a grip. He's not a player i like for the reasons i mentioned above.
-
I don't want us to sign this imposter. He was hopeless for Rangers, never got a sniff at Bolton & now Aberdeen don't want him.
He's a speed merchant with a final ball that is absolutely terrible.
-
It was noticeable against the fake saints
It should be noticeable, it's bright yellow ffs
-
If we go into the game vs Hibernian with the same squad we used yesterday then i'm afraid i can't see anything other than a complete pasting.
Hopefully we pull something out of the bag in regards to signings between now and then.
-
I really don't understand the love for Newton from a lot of our support. Another game where he let it pass by and showed zero effort. Absolutely disgusting.
Kelly, Cheesy, Grainger and Thompson were also horrendous.
-
Tricky tie as it always is up in Perth.
May and Hasselbaink will be tough to handle.
Hopefully we see Gowser back to his best with his court case off his mind and Newton uping his performances, we'll take something.
I'll go with 2-2.
-
Taiwo would be a good signing for us i reckon
-
He's a gd replacement if gowser leaves they can't play in the same team.
No he isn't. He's the polar opposite of everything Gowzer adds to the side.

Kello & Cheesy pass marks. Nobody else.
Naismith and Newton were particularly horrendous & McGowan was so ineffective its was unreal.
Thompson out wide crossing balls into areas where he should be.
Lennon has to go whether it be now or at the end of the season, we cannot start the next campaign with him at the helm.
