The younger woman was called out on one of the FB pages and immediately went off on one saying we pay our money and can say what we like. The fact that she regularly uses such disgusting language in front of her young son is disgraceful.
If a male supporter behaves in this way, he gets ejected from the stadium straight away ie the guy in the Main Stand at Livi who was ejected for shouting & swearing at the team/Stubbs etc
The one that looks like Penguin from Batman is the worst.
I had the misfortune of having the two of them behind me a couple of times last season. At one point during the first half of the second time, i gestured to the steward and pointed behind me to hopefully get them to shut it or move. The lad shrugged his shoulders and muttered 'no ma problem mate'.. The woman then decided to laugh and direct her abuse at me 'see ya f**king prick, i'm dain nuhin wrang ya c--t'
Feel sorry for the little lad who will most likely think that is acceptable behavior and probably go on to be just as bad as those two when he's older.

Ultimately this is first time the club has ever had to deal with any form of "ultras" group with banners smoke bombs etc.
Was there not the 'Supras' group a few years ago that also used banners etc circa '09?
Also, I've never seen our guys use smoke bombs etc either home or away...

Fair shout. But, his signings wouldn't have got in our squad for last year's Championship. There were 3 occasions we had players run into each other on Saturday. That suggests to me that players don't know what they're doing or have no clue who each other is. It's poor. He's had preseason, the league cup games and still, a week from close, our team is dreadful. Not asking for him to go. Not my business asking for someone to lose their job, but the boos at halftime and full-time were ominous..
Don't get me wrong. His signings and results have been horrific. However, I'm just merely pointing out that he never decimated our squad from last season. It seems a lot of people think he did.

What about Eck & Gary Mack being told they can find new clubs, errr no they're injured. Looks to me like they are in the same camp as Cammy Smith. Stubbs back-tracked on the rumour but I expect it was a case of no guarantee of first team football so feel free to leave if that's what you're looking for.
I agree that no player is bigger than the club and arguably the manager, but why piss off the players that helped create the winning mentality and feel-good factor around the club that put the club back in the SPL without giving them some sort of reassurance? Strikes me that Stubbs was must have had a note from his Mum for the day they did man management during his coaching badges.
Is that fact though or just 'in the know' Twitter nonsense? Even if it is true, is it really that much of an issue that they have been told they can go if someone wants them?
He has far from dismantled the Championship winning side. That was done by Ross or players leaving themselves.

Stubbs was left a championship winning squad and dismantled it.
Did he dismantle it though ?
From the below list of departures he only really moved on Hippolyte and Stewart who were bit part at best and not really very good anyway.
Stelios – Ross never renewed his contract
Irvine – Ross released if I’m not mistaken
Davis – Wanted back down south
Smith – Returned to Hearts
Donati – Retired
Morgan – Went to Celtic
Todd – Released by Ross I’m sure
Hill – Returned to Celtic
Duffy – Punted to Airdrie
Sutton – Retired
Reilly – Arsed about with his contract and we revoked it
Hippolyte – Sold to Dunfermline
R.Stewart - Sold to County

Only difference is the coaching and tactics?
No. Heart and desire has a lot to do with it too.
2-0 down and nobody tried a leg. f**king disgraceful.

Who would win?
Tommy Craig XI vs Alan Stubbs XI ?
Dull 0-0 i reckon.

Agree with that to some degree.
I do think he has a place in our squad.
Captain / leader though? No.
After today I would strip him of the captaincy and drop him. Then look for his response. He can be a squad filler but out his depth in the Premiership in terms of being a leader and stand out.
You wouldn't have known he was playing this afternoon. When the chips are down I'm expecting my captain to be visibly angry, rally the troops and genuinely try to get the team going again - none of that today, at all. Even if that is to take a body in a 50/50 to get the fans off their feet.
McGinn chucked it this afternoon, numerous times. It was a disgraceful display from a captain and from a captain who our support has been blowing smoke up his arse for the best part of 2 years.

This won’t be popular but I was raging with McGinn today, lost the ball constantly, pulled out of numerous tackles and just plain hid. For a guy that’s been a rock and a star man for 18 months he chucked it today.
1He isn't good enough for the Premiership.

Weren’t the North Bank boys tossing balls of ice at Alex Rae’s head not so long ago? That could’ve done significant damage to anyone if if connected properly.
Im all for being outraged at the incident today but make sure our record is clean first.

And it looks like he still hasn't got their fitness levels up to where they were last season. To many golf days maybe!
Give me peace. We're just over a month into pre season. No team in the country has players at the same fitness level as last season... yet!
I'd wait till we at least play one fixture in the Premiership before wetting my Y's and wanting a change of manager.

Season hasn't even started yet and folk 'cant see Stubbs turning it around' hee haw has happened yet. Stubbs was appointed on the 8th of June. It's mid July for f**k sake.
Our support has some right roasters in it, It's f**king embarrassing at times.

We’ve always had double figure strikers in seasons we’ve survived in the Premiership/SPL.
We had Sutton, then Higdon, then Thompson. Our final season - when Thompson got injured - we didn’t have one and we got relegated.
We don’t have anyone anywhere near the caliber of those 3 just now. Unless we find one between now and the end of August we are going to really struggle. That's not actually correct.
According to St.Mirren.info;
2009-10;
Mehmet, 3 League goals [13 all comps]
Dorman, 7 league goals [ 8 all comps]
2007-08;
Mehmet, 6 League goals [ 8 all comps]
Dorman, 3 League goals [ 5 all comps]

Morgan could reach a completely different level to the other ex players you’ve mentioned. This guy can go to the very top hence why some of us are interested in his progress.
im sure when he’s playing for Man Utd you’ll be saying to people, he used to play for St Mirren.
Right you are.

Well , I do.
He was an exceptional young talent for us, brought the club money and bust his ass till season end for the cause . He conducted himself in a professional manner at all times and I wish him well wherever he plays .... including at Septic.I don't dispute anything you've said above, he was fantastic for us. However, he's now a Celtic player and that's the end of it. I don't think we need updated on his progression with Celtic. He's gone and now we move on.
McGinn, McLean & McGowan all contributed to great seasons for us. I don't see threads updating their progress.

Utter horse shit of a post to put it politely.
Jamieson gave us directness, pressing of the back line and most importantly 100% effort which is all we ask for. There is a player in there and i for one am looking forward to seeing him play more for us. Good luck to the young lad.
Cammy MacPherson (19 yr old lad btw - with under 20 career starts) wasn't terrible. He had a bit of a ropey first half but second half he was one of our better players and contributed to one of our closest attempts on goal.
Also, this nonsense about players having to train with the 20's and other rumours about AS signings is pathetic. Two of his signings started and two were on the bench on Saturday. The previous week three AS signings started with three being on the bench - two were used. If they were training with the 20's they wouldn't be anywhere near the first team at all and we'd fill the bench with youngsters.
