  1. When does Jack Ross become accountable for this absolute cluster f**k of a season? He's had the majority of the season and has somehow managed to make us WORSE than the team Alex Rae had control of IMO. Totally unacceptable.

What is also unacceptable is our bampot of a chairman declaring via any media source that'll entertain him that JR's job is safe no matter what happens this season. Jack's job should be under review when this seasons over and if we're still as bad as we are currently then he needs the bullet. There has been zero improvement since he's taken over and we've went backwards on the park in my opinion.

    Disgrace.

Fans want to stop screaming pish at players. It doesn't help players to hear you tell them they're pish. The amount of shit I hear shouted constantly at players is unbelievable. The sub's got it as well, all of them, just when warming up..strong characters needed to ignore that shit but it's a lot of young kids out there..get behind the team FFS

Subs getting abused whilst warming up? Absolutely not a chance that happened.

Anyone who does not think he's hurting at the fact we are bottom of the league  must be kidding themselves

I'm certainly not kidding myself. He quite clearly doesn't give one single f**k and you can see it in his performances. Particularly at home to QOTS last week. The man isn't interested and the sooner he's without a strip on a Saturday the better.

  4. Might sound a bit daft here but could we not set up a turnstyle-type entrance system that clicks through and records the number of people coming through the doors. When it hits capacity then close the doors.

Don't imagine anyone would grumble paying £2/£3 on the door either.

I started another topic in the General St Mirren Discussion as I am fed up reading about folk slagging off Mallan. The problem in midfield is down to Alex Rae as he only plays with two midfielders (and two wingers who appear under instruction to hug the touch line and not contribute to anything else) and one of them is Hutton who passes either backwards or straight out the park. Mallan was the best player we had today (just aheaad of Sutton) but that does not say much in the formation and tactics we are using.

Some absolute cretin behind me slated Mallan for not winning a tackle from a pass three yards too short for him from Hutton. Sums a lot of our west stand support. The same guy also praising the goalie for palming a ball straight back onto a Hibs strikers foot from a cross.

We were disgusting yesterday and it's pathetic to sit and watch. Webster is supposed to be our leader and captain and instead he strolls around for 90 minutes heading the ball straight up in the air and never looking as if he breaks into a sweat at all. I want to see encouragement even anger sometimes from our captain, letting his 10 other players know performances like that are unacceptable.

Special mention for big Jason. Try look interested mate. At one point you were walking around central midfield as Hibs launched another attack down your side with Stevenson.

Rae needs to sort it and soon. Two games to save his job imo and if we manage to get a tanking in Ayr next weekend i'm sure a thousand or so pissed up Saints fans will be quick to let him know what they think.

Isle of bute if he was 34 or an ex rangers player he'd be getting crucified for his poor performances. I think some fans need to get real and see he isn't all that good along with many of the team. Yes he did a good job initially but after that no he has been below par. I think before his injury he was struggling. I hope he comes back and plays well again bit you can't slag guys like Hutton who is a boo boy target and leave out naismith. I am sorry he needs dropped

I'd move Jason inside one and play someone else at full back. The trouble is we don't have another RB option. I like the idea of Jason and McKenzie as a CB pairing tbh

Also, for what it's worth. I'd play young Stewart before giving Irvine a strip. He's been honking since the first league cup game.

Could go with less of the 'honest' interviews and more of an 'honest' appraisal of the ability of the squad he has assembled.

    Quite frankly, it looks poor.

For a battle hard midfielder he once was. You'd think he'd at least be able to recruit and get the central midfield department correct. For me, that's his worst area so far this season. Borderline disgraceful.

  8. Unbelievable.

His tea is nearly oot for me to be honest. He had taken over a piss poor Ian Murray team and turned us into long ball merchants that were hard to beat last season. I was hoping he resulted to the LB tactic purely down to the dross he had in his squad and given time in the summer he'd build his own squad and have us playing 'proper football'. From what i've seen pre season and last week, it's the same old long ball that has shite all effect. It was plain to see that we were very very short in the midfield department and one injury would scupper us. So, christ only knows why he blew all his budget on four strikers and forgot about our central midfield. He's also persisted with Webster and Baird all League cup, not attempting new defensive combinations was criminal in my opinion - Which has showed today and vs Morton. Not to mention Langfield, he should be our back up goal at best. Today and his Franco Baresi impressions against Morton just shows his decision making is suspect to say the least. Get Gallacher in for the foreseeable.

Things need to drastically improve or questions will be getting asked sooner than Rae would like. We're not in this league to float around toward the bottom for the majority of another season.

  9. We were woeful all afternoon and i'm still angry about it.

We should be playing the football on the ground as much as possible. The players we have in our squad are more than capable of playing good sharp and fast football yet Rae has persisted with hoof baw for the whole of pre season and even worse at home vs our rivals who were riddled with injuries, playing a few u20's boys to plug gaps and there for a good doing.

Langfield should stick to commanding his 6 yard box rather than trying to become our answer to Andrea Pirlo. Less apologies on twitter big man and more concentrating on being a solid goalkeeper. If anyone knows anyone at the club and can manage to get a message into the dressing room - Please tell Kyle Hutton it's OK to have a shot at goal. Ye' never know it might just go in..

Big improvements needed for Raith on Saturday and if nothing changes it's going to be a long hard brutal season.
