  1. He was training with us towards the end of last season and had a knee op at the end of the season, apparently it went well, I had been told that he was signing back in May as long as his op worked out.

I had thought it would have happened before the season started if it was going to happen.

Goes to show how different we all see it! I thought Gallagher was the main positive of today believe it or not (my fellow pixies fan?). Double save first half was phenomenal, kept the score down to 2 several times, terrific save with his knee from a one-on-one in the second half too. I heard his shout to Baird at the second goal from W1 so how Baird never ...

Absolute first choice keeper for me!!

Yep, Pixies fan here, i would agree that he had a couple of good saves but if he can't do the basics and can't learn from his mistakes then he won't give the other players confidence in his ability. I was in S4 and never heard him utter a word other than to moan about other players after the event rather than being a team player and helping his defence know what is about him when the ball was in play.

Scrimmy had a cracking debut at cappielow and then was crap. Gallagher on performances so far will not get near even that one game high.

  3. Anyone that was calling for Gallagher to go in goals should be ashamed.

He couldn't lace Scrimigours boots. Langfield is a goal of a start for the opposition but this guy is two goals of a start.

At fault for both goals, the first was a carbon copy of the first mistake at Livi. The second he should have been shouting to Baird to tell him what to do or taken control and cleared it.

Midfield nonexistent, nothing positive about any of the performances so far this season.

Two vital games for Raes future in the next two weeks.

  4. The Straight Story. Auld' guy travels across America on a lawnmower to see his brother before they die. Wonderful, gentle, interesting movie.

Totally agree a brilliant gentle story.

Untouchable a French film about a quadriplegic and his career. Fantastically funny and touching.

  5. Charcoal grey?

    Looks black to me.

Saw Bill Wells and Aidan Moffat at the Oran Mor all dayer last year, they were fabulous only trumped by seeing Moffat's Where You're Meant to be, wonderful gig at The Caves and even better at Barrowlands, the film is also terrific. Highly recommend it.

  6. Really wanted to go last night, but due to a prior engagement , I had to miss out.thumbdown.gif

Through a complete fluke managed to get an executive box for this.

Twilight sad were good although not as good as Barrowlands but Chvrches were great.

Was a good night out and as a first gig for our 12 year old hard to beat

  7. Wedding Present and Wonder Stuff on Friday, Churches and Twilight Sad a week on Saturday, RM Hubbert next month Adam Ant in June and Placebo in December.

Wedding Present were great, the wonder stuff were so shite we blagged our way into a Noel Gallagher tribute act to get away from them.

The year is shaping up not bad.
