  1. Miguel Pallardo has left Hearts with mutual consent due to lack of game time, was a cracking player for hearts at championship level and only made 19 appearances this season. Worth taking a look at possibly as he wants to move on to a team that will give him regular game time? Would add a more attacking quality to the side

is he not more of a holding player than attacking. Not really what we need with Quinn and now Hutton.
  2. Stevie Mallans main problem is that he is being asked to hold together a midfield that has no real leader at present. He is not a leader, he is not a 'solid' midfielder. He is only really going to reach his full potential playing in a team with a solid base in the middle and an encouraging leader guiding him through matches and giving him the protection to do what he does.

  3. Never mind midfielders, since our millenium championship season when Yards and Basher hit 19 + 16 respectively, only four players of any position have scored more than 13 in a single campaign.

    David Cameron, 19, in 2002/03

    John Sutton, 17, in 05/06

    Michael Higdon 14 in 10/11

Then Thommo with 16 in the three consecutive seasons.

  4. Howieson is a much better player just behind the frontman than he is when stuck out on a wing. Had a bit of a free role today across the middle and did really well.

Barry Cuddihy also stood out in a central role rather than hung out to dry at rb as he was in the top team. Never a rb.

  5. ^^^^^This

Completely I've watched the boys for a few years and as far as I can see this really is an outstanding crop.

we need to keep of Morgan, Mclear, Stewart. They might not be first team ready, but they should have a big future.

And coming through behind them the likes of McAllister and O'Keefe who look promising as well, but another couple of years to see them as first team squad regulars.

  6. Yes It was the number 11 that stamped on one of our players Think it was . Cudehey he stamped on. It was the number 7 who kicked off. Souter had a good game, but so did our back 4.

As I say, Had turned away and just caught the stamp, then it all kicked off.

Our whole team did well. Agnew really came onto a game in the second half, ran the midfield comfortably. A few of the youngsters have a decent future if they keep their focus and continue to develop. All good for the club as we go forward.
