Was just about to ask about Wilks as well.
Thought Howieson would have done well in the middle just behind the forwards. Not a winger. But we'll never know. Cuddihy as well better in the middle not at rb.
-
It was a very young team yesterday. As mentioned above several players missing for various reasons.

The helicopter looked like the yellow one that quite often lands at the RAH.
More commonly called the air ambulance!
-
10.Surprised Collum is still employed as a ref .
Really hope we can keep this run going against them .
Out of interest - does anyone know how many games this run takes in ?
Won 7 drawn 3.

Stevie Mallans main problem is that he is being asked to hold together a midfield that has no real leader at present. He is not a leader, he is not a 'solid' midfielder. He is only really going to reach his full potential playing in a team with a solid base in the middle and an encouraging leader guiding him through matches and giving him the protection to do what he does.

Martin Cameron in 02/03.
Of course it was. David Cameron was the squaddie who didn't do too much a few seasons before!
-
Never mind midfielders, since our millenium championship season when Yards and Basher hit 19 + 16 respectively, only four players of any position have scored more than 13 in a single campaign.
David Cameron, 19, in 2002/03
John Sutton, 17, in 05/06
Michael Higdon 14 in 10/11
Then Thommo with 16 in the three consecutive seasons.

In many decades of watching football, yesterday was the first time I have seen a " professional football player " warming up with his hands in his Coat pockets.
GOW
Thompson wasn't much better!
As mentioned above Goodwin and the youngsters at least showed a bit of effort.

Morgan played against Hibs Dev Team in Edinburgh on Wed.
Glad to hear that. Did he play the full 90?
-
Morgan's on loan to the treatment table. Think he meant McLear and Cuddihy.who is morgan on loan to ?

Impressed by the Ross County cup winning strip.......a true winner from JD/Carbrini
Here is their cup winning goalscorer Alex Schalk who's picture will be all over the world press.....
A great advert for Carbrini's quality and quality control!!!
-
Baird suspended or injured?
Suspended - one game
-
And if we're going for fan friendly, let's keep this seasons home kit and just change the away....then next year change the home etc....
Never gonna happen I know, but good idea!

Definitely a for sale sign up at the waste ground. Saw it on Monday whilst at the u20 game. Always thought the club could have developed it into parking for matchdays and make it first come first served nominal fee.
-
Howieson is a much better player just behind the frontman than he is when stuck out on a wing. Had a bit of a free role today across the middle and did really well.
Barry Cuddihy also stood out in a central role rather than hung out to dry at rb as he was in the top team. Never a rb.

All over 2-1. Another good win for the boys.
-
Lead restored. Throw in from Stewart controlled by Gow who made space and finished nicely from the edge of the box in off the underside of the bar. 2-1 the real Saints.
-
Half time 1-1
-
Shocking penalty decision makes it 1-1. Blatant dive after the Fakes player lost the ball.
-
Battle of the Saints at the 2021 and the good saints take an early lead Barry Cuddihy finishing a good move with a nice finish.

^^^^^This
Completely I've watched the boys for a few years and as far as I can see this really is an outstanding crop.
we need to keep of Morgan, Mclear, Stewart. They might not be first team ready, but they should have a big future.
And coming through behind them the likes of McAllister and O'Keefe who look promising as well, but another couple of years to see them as first team squad regulars.

Broddle went to PartickIndeed and for around £100 too. I still think we treated him poorly. Walker went too.
Did Broddle go back down south after us?
-
Irvine to rb. Baird and Kelly in the middle. Stewart at lb. Sorted!Believe Watson is suspended for this after his booking at the weekend. He will be a big loss, he's been excellent recently.
Hopefully Webster is fit after going off in the first half on Saturday and Sean will go to LB and Gary to RB. If he isn't fit we would only have 3 available defenders in Baird, Kelly and Irvine.

Yes It was the number 11 that stamped on one of our players Think it was . Cudehey he stamped on. It was the number 7 who kicked off. Souter had a good game, but so did our back 4.
As I say, Had turned away and just caught the stamp, then it all kicked off.
Our whole team did well. Agnew really came onto a game in the second half, ran the midfield comfortably. A few of the youngsters have a decent future if they keep their focus and continue to develop. All good for the club as we go forward.
