  1. FFS what is this thread turning into!! They will kick us off the park, we don't have enough height, we are not strong enough, we should change a winning team and now the pitch isn't in our favour!!!

Thankfully no one on this thread will be doing the team talk on Saturday :lol

Livingston are big, strong well organised and seem to have team spirit. But they do not have players anywhere near the quality of St Mirren! This team is on a run that few supporters will EVER have seen. Have a bit of confidence FFS :clapping

I haven't found any racism coming from Mr Robinson.

He seems to be against very bad extremists who are doing harm to innocents.

Anyway, we are all one Race

    So Racism doesn't really exist

Just Cnuts picking on others that they perceive to be different

Like a ginger haired person getting bullied at school, workplace or wherever.

    He founded the EDL.

A vile racist and sectarian organisation that preaches hate against minorities.

Why can't you see he is morally corrupt?

I blocked him because found his posts moronic so only see if someone else quotes him. Even by his standards this is stupid beyond words :lol He says racism doesn't exist and in the next line goes on to give an almost dictionery definition of it. :lol:lol

I would like us to try Magennis and McGinn as holding midfielder and Smith , Hippolyte and Morgan playing behind Reilly , think the pace of that front four would create problems for Livvy

Someone else who wants to change a team that hasn't lost since December2!! I'm assuming you drop the experience of McShane or Flynn for Hippolyte which is not going to happen.

What it does show is how well Jack did in the January window when you look at what is on the bench. Much more strength in depth.

Absolutely no issue with your post whatsoever, I’m just getting nervous now with our key games coming up, coupled with reading the report from yesterday’s Livi game that they were throwing their weight about somewhat, just worried that they try and kick us off the park. In fairness though McGinn,Magennis & Eckersley can certainly get stuck in!!

Yep we are buddies so being nervous comes with the job!! But this team and the management team are quite simply the best in the division and I am as confident as you get being a St Mirren supporter.

United have an easier run in. They play Queen of the South (who always go into freefall at this time of the season and seem to have problems) 3 times and Dumbarton who are awful twice. But lets be honest it's not about any other team now.

And I have no doubt Livi will attempt to kick us off the park on Saturday.

  5. In case no one has noticed we have played Livi twice (some of it with ten men)... 2 wins, 6 goals scored, 2 goals conceded.6 points.

We have played United 3 times .. 2 wins, 1 defeat 6 goals scored, 2 conceded and 6 points.

So I think we managed fine without Mark Hill. He has never started a game for celtic and has played 2 minutes in the championship is 19 years old and some of you think he is going to start in a team that has  not lost a game since December 2nd! Really? Its time for experience so I will choose from McGinn, McShane, Flynn and Magennis for the engine room with Hill on the bench as backup.

Where I do agree is the game on Saturday will be a battle, but so were the previos two games against them.

Livi have only lost 6 games all season I don' think this will be easy. Hopefully we can get away with the points

Yeah but they have United to play twice, us to play twice, Morton to play 3 times and they also have to go to Dunfermline. So 8 of their remaining 13 games are against the 4 best teams in the league. They will not finish within 20 points of us!!

At the match. Bruising and hard fought match complete with a number of bookings but no goals. The Pars have come closest to scoring.  A draw at half time. Same score at full time might suit the Saints.

Every game involving Livingston is bruising. It's how they play.

And since none of these teams will be anywhere near our points total at the end of the season the result is irrelevant. :P

Pish!! But the price you pay for being a top team!! Lets just get on with it and get as many through there as possible. Club should certainly put on buses.

It's getting out of work on time to get the bus that's the hassle.

Exactly and driving round about rush hour all you need is a minor bump and you've got a problem. Will certainly take hundreds off our support.

This is a dog eat dog league.

There is no Manchester City in this league that is SO MUCH better than the rest, but there is one that has kicked on from this time last year and continued the form they carried from January through to May :clapping

However I am a supporter that has been through thick and thin with this club from as far back as I can remember as an eight year old when my Dad lifted me over the turnstiles at LS, so I never take anything for granted and I never think it's over until Ella Fitzgerald is belting out her classics.

Keep winning and let nature take its course with the rest of the teams over the next three months and we should do ok!

I think you will find we do have a Manchester City in this league. :whistle We have not lost in the league since the 2nd of December 2017 and since then have won 7 and drawn 1. Its absoulutely outstanding in a league where apparently (Brechin aside) anyone can beat anyone!!

I would agree that being a buddie we take nothing for granted, and neither will the team or management. The league table does not lie though. This is a special team with a special manager. Enjoy and show a bit more confidence in them.

    We're on our way!! :clapping

5 out of our next 7 fixtures are really tough ones, including Falkirk (the in form team in the league) at home, and Livvy and Dundee Utd away.

Maybe some posters here have not been Saints fans any longer, but there should not be any chicken counting!  One game at a time, and all of them crucial!

Edit to Add: Falkirk are the form team in the league OTHER THAN ST MIRREN.  That much should be obvious :)

I realise it is the St Mirren way to play things down but not any tougher than the 7 games we have just played. Dunfermline (twice), QoS, Dumbarton, Dundee United, Morton and Inverness. Results...6 wins 1 draw and 19 points!!!

Even the most cautious St Mirren fan must surely realise by now that this team has something special about them and the squad has strenghened in the window.

Reports on BBC Scotland radio that United players locked in the dressing room for 2 hours after the game and thats a surefire way to lose the dressing room.

Hibs won the league last season out the park winning 19 games and getting 71 points. We have already won 16 games and are on 51.

    We're on our way..... :clapping

Oh dear, I hope your parents don't look on this forum, they would be so ashamed.

Abusive? Is that the best you can do? You are the one that uses the words wank and feck off! Really shows you have lost the arguement. But then you knew that from your very first stupid post about Jack.

Oh and you have not managed to tell me about any of Jack's moments!! What a numpty!! :byebye

Ok, to end you obsession with me..............

It's been well documented Baird has had his moments this season, apparently you have dementia or are just being a wank.

Yeah, I live down in England, I don't attend many games, well done for stating the fecking obvious. I wasn't aware that I could't support St Mirren.

The amount of posts is a regular point made by the dim among us, well done, you've joined the club/

Abuse..................are you really forgetting your earlier posts?

You came in and immediately started this pish.

Now, I've seen better than you off before, run along, slither back under your rock or PM me and we can end this nonsense.

Qoute me a post where I have been abusive tonight?  Tell me about Bairds 'moments' this season? So it's pish that I do not agree with you?  You are making, even by your standards, such a fool of yourself tonight. :byebye

I watched on TV, why is that a problem?

You really are having a nightmare.

PM me, this needs sorted out, don't be like snake this lifetime hiding away, ya wank. :byebye

What needs sorted out? The fact you think Jacks been inconsistent when the whole forum are singing his praises tonight? The fact you do not attend many games despite having over 27,000 posts? The reason you abuse people on here when they disagree with you?  You really are, even by you're standards, making a real tit of yourself. :D
