Just checked, any odds you like that'll not happen.

Aye the odds weren't for me. I was asking for someone else 🤐

Sturridge signed for Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor on 21 August 2019 on a three-year contract.[120] On 2 March 2020, Sturridge was released from the club after having his contract mutually terminated; he had scored seven goals in just sixteen games.[121] The same day he received a four-month worldwide ban for breaching betting rules (see previous section); an appeal board also fined him £150,000

They do indeed, but they have a significantly larger squad size than us.

We're down to a squad size of 18 fit players. 19 if Quaner makes it.

Alongside St.J we have the smallest squad size in the league.

    FootballSquads - Scottish Premiership - 2020/2021

Must be very difficult at present regarding training, trying to balance rest and keeping players ticking over. I wonder if contact games in training have been curtailed, just in case of further injury risk.

We could definitely do with a free agent or two, if there are any around.

What is the betting on Daniel Sturridge on pay as you play until end of season?

Sportsound buried Lennon immediately the match ended... then they dug the body back up: they've dissected it and reburied it and now it has been exhumed for yet another go.

I quite like the guy so I find all this Sportsound fixation interesting and enjoyable.

I think we all now it's a definite Mowbray moment.

    What a result.

Great gameplan - decisive, varied play up top (how good were Dennis and McAllister?), solid in defence; tightly packed midfield and hard in the tackle.

A good decision in hindsight by Jim to rest the likes of Flynn. On our day and with the right gameplan(s), we can beat anybody.

Dennis was my MOM. Thought he was terrific today and covered all over the park.

The central midfield is a real problem area, I won't be popular for saying it but Jake Doyle Hayes sitting in front of the back four isn't good enough either. We took a kid who in his first 8 or 9 games for us, was playing a bit of an all-action role, looking for passes ahead, trying to unlock opposition defences and doing a bit of dirty work as well and he was doing so to great effect going by the number and quality of the chances we created compared to before he joined but since the turn of the year, we've papped him in front of the back 4 and left him to take short passes from our centre halves and move the ball on 10 yards sideways. What the f**k is that all about?!

He was pish against Killie, Motherwell and St. Johnstone because instead of playing to his strengths and have him trying to open other teams up, we have told him so sit even deeper. Deeper than even Erhahon!

If you swapped him and Erhahon and gave them one another's roles you'd see an immediate improvement. Erhahon is an excellent holding mid and tidy in possession but not an expressive or forward thinking player. JDH is both tidy and creative.

Still, don't need to worry about that, we won't be seeing him for next 10 games. In his wake, get Erhahon back into that holding mid role and put Foley in beside McGrath....that would be a well balanced central midfield 3.

Yep agree with the JDH situation. He had been pulled back basically probably due to the distribution of Shaughnessy which is bloody awful and just gives the opponents the ball back.

We need to go back to a straight 442 and get service to the front men through the middle rather than this constant idea of trying the wings which just doesn't work for us. How many goals have we scored from open play where the ball has came in from out wide? We have players capable of touch, pass, go but seem to resort to a game of hoof in far too many games. When we play the game in the proper fashion we look like a decent team.

Shaughnessy reminds me of Duffy at Celtic and it is one of the reasons why they have went backwards. At least we have a better keeper than Barkas :)

I think the biggest problem is our style of play.
Up until they sat back when we went down to 10 the vast majority of the game was played in our half. This was at least partly due to the game plans of the two managers.
Most of our possession was trying to short pass our way into their half which is both risky when being pressed and turgid to watch.
This has been a problem for about a month now and I think we need to adjust tactics or we are in for another relegation battle.
It’s difficult to create chances when the ball is in your own half.
We will have the same problem next week against Livi.

Yep also predictable. We need to very our tactics sometimes
