A recently published article Ranks St Mirren in the top 600 clubs in the world with Man City at Number One. Rangers are listed ahead of Celtic.
Are we above Rangers?

I prefer draught as well. Hate it when a pub only sells bottles or cans.

I like the odd game o chess, but let's make it a no holds barred royale rumble - with no toilet breaks!
10 mins per game, no breaks and make sure your internet connection is half decent. You in?

Hence the reason "different emoji" Are you in?

Are there any old codgers like myself who play the occasional game of chess and want to take part in an online Saints tourney.
The tournament would be hosted on chess.com and the draw would be made by random with each game being a max of 10 mins and is the best out of three.
If you are interested then like or use a different emoji for this post. The tourney will start next sunday and games will be played at a time that suits both parties drawn together. The game must be played within one week. The winner will move onto the next round and the final will be played whenever we reach the final 2 which will depend on how many people wish to enter. If you do not already have a chess.com account then register one for free and pm me your username for both this site and the one on chess.com
The prize - The title of BAWA Grandmaster!

Ah dear Mr Kemp.
Over 80 visits to South Africa got me used to hearing Afrikans, Zulu and a number of local languages, although I was never fluent.

It's not £9m in cash, I'll grant you.
But it is £9m in liquid assets that can be converted to cash in the case of an emergency.
I wouldn't call it "liquid assets" it would also have to be one hell of a fecking emergency......

Utd Penalties Ha ha ha. At least they hit the net this time. Lost on penalties 4 times on the trot.

"SFA rigged sticky ball tombola" didn't have the same ring to it.

If we get Popescu back (and keep Hladky) then 6th in league otherwise 8th. Cups are pot luck for us.

A younger looking Ryan Flynn with a tan will do just fine. Welcome.

Looks like he was involved in a belter of a play-off game last season. His side were 4-3 up in stoppage time and he wasted a chance to make it 5-3. The other team then scored twice before the end of the game (not extra-time) and got promoted instead. Let's hope Tony doesn't mention Hammarby to him.
There's also an article about how much he cost Crawley per goal, however I only share it here because it also has this nugget at the bottom:
"Cole Kpekawa worst value for keeping clean sheets – The defender cost Colchester United £62,400 for his one clean sheet"

Probably a guy that you can pull back into defence if required when winning 4-3 or a guy you can stick in defence when we are getting gubbed 3-0.

It seems very popular to quote this nowadays, as if it is an undeniable fact.
In my cases, one version of events is correct and another version is a fabrication.
Truth is not defined as some random midpoint between two versions of events.
Mibbies aye, mibbies naw.

"It seems as if this match has been going on for an eternity Jeff, the first goal scoring opportunity arises but the shot takes a deflection and goes out for a corner. I wonder if the keeper will come out to claim this and be able to clear his box. It really hasn't been an entertaining match so far but it looks as if it might start to heat up now. Wonder if climate change has got anything to do with it?"

Good to see the facts behind the trialists. Not surprised to see the usual halfwits posting utter shite on the basis of nothing. You really wonder whether they ever engage a brain cell or two before reacting to anything in real life.
And you believe that twaddle. I mean who has a name like Rob Jones and a university in Stirling, aye very good. As for Scottish clubs having scouts, who comes up with this nonsense. A bounce game, come on surely they would have been over to play some football. Don't believe everything you read on the internet 😉

FFS Look at the big picture. What is most important to you as a saints fan? This could have ended up considerably worse and at a very important time in the clubs season. Gordon has dealt with it in the right manner to protect the clubs interest. The communication side of things was likely the integral part of what was done and when it was done.
Some folk are continually blinded by an important person at the club before the club itself. Keep believing what you want to believe but it has been done and it could have been worse for both parties involved and both clubs.
Would it make a difference if someone else from the club verified this for you. Would you believe it then? No answer required.

No surprises there and still can't believe the doubt and conspiracies on this thread. Professionally dealt with under the circumstances.
