Did you bet on EVERY team or just them 4?

Just 3. Never put a bet on Argentina but would still break even if they win it. Winners bet was on France from the start but put a couple of smaller side bets on croatia and morocco mid tourney. 🖕🙄

I have zero shame in saying I’m f**king delighted they are out.

Also, the comments in the studio post match about Morocco were beyond belief.

I don’t know what I found more unbelievable, the level of arrogance or the level of delusion.

Have an early side bet on morocco. Best defence in the competition. Wouldn't be surprised to see them beat France. Got a side bet on croatia as well and stuck a tenner on France from the start to win the tourney. If Argentina win it then I just break even but would still be happy as would be great to see Messi sign off in style.

  3. As passionate as board members may be, anyone shouting from either side should pack their bags. If they can't have a grown up meeting with common sense discussions based on facts and figures, then there is no point in them being there. Yes there will be different points of view but all individuals need to be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner and not behave like a child having a tantrum.

You wouldn't think running a football club is that bloody difficult and anyone conducting themselves in the above way should be removed from the board.

The fans deserve better and the club certainly doesn't need this shit when things are going ok on the pitch.

Make your point, discuss sensibly, come to a majority vote on said discussion and conclude with reasons detailed and then explain/communicate to the fans on why said decision was made. Highlight if necessary opposing views so fans understand individual concerns so they can make up their own minds. We have to trust in a process and if a certain decision highlights major concern for a large number of fans then potentially review said decision (based on facts).

Appears to be a structure and communication issue. Sort that out first then if any individual doesn't play by the rules then show them the door.

  4. The buddies new lucky charm.

Is this the season we reach top *.

Let's not f**king say it out loud though.  GL to Keanu and the Aussies in the last 16. Hope they get Argentina and Baccus gives Messi a lesson 😀

    Kea, Kea, Keanu

    Keanu, Keanu,

    Kea, Kea Keanu

He's yours for a million quid.

  5. With VAR technology available it was initially brought in to assist referees in making decisions however it is now dictating decisions as per the questionable handball rule.

With regards to handball inside the penalty box I think it would be better use of VAR to assist the referee in deciding whether the handball was deliberate or not and in turn be able to make the following decisions.

    1) Deliberate handball - Penalty

    2) Any Handball that deflected a shot from a possible goal unless arms are by their side - Penalty

    3) Any deemed - non deliberate handball that deflects a cross or passage of play inside the box - Free kick on the edge of the 18 yard box in line with where handball occurred only after passage of play has continued and not resulting in a goal.

The 3rd part of this might stop players screaming for handballs at every possible opportunity.

Between the ref and video assistant it would at least give them the option of making a decision based on an opinion rather than ruining games with straight penalties for what can only be classed as a minor defensive error and possibly unavoidable.

Even the refs appear that they are getting a bit pissed off at having to award a straight penalty for a debatable decision.

Any comments, suggestions, additions, amendments welcome before I pick up the phone to Infantino to tell him what he needs to do. 🙃

  6. Thought it was a bit stupid to play Tait at left back against Boyle and Cadden, he is struggling big time. Would take both him and Gogic off as Gogic is on a yellow anyway. Change to a back four bring on shaughnessy and push Dunne out left.

As for the penalty, Tait was turning his back on it. Shouldn't have been given

If Robinson makes a tactical and player change we will win this game. If not then f**king wish I never bothered buying the lager.

Who is Stuart/Stewart the english commentator on Hibs TV who used to play for them? What an absolute walloper. It is 50/50 on which commentary tolisten to as both as bad as each other.

You have not even supplied a direct link. I know what I wrote and I base that on my own experience no one else’s.

You are trying to be funny and make things up to belittle someone’s opinion. That says a lot about you.

It was open to interpretation. How you interpreted it and your response says a lot. If you read back the notes from July's quarterly it probably explains some of the things that have happened in the background.

    The Sun

Some of the smartest entrepreneurial people in the world do one thing well.
They hire good people who are smarter that them in key areas. But they need to trust those individuals to deliver and not run the business at a loss.
Despite my stupidity I have had a very successful career and run multiple businesses. Never once have I ever run my own businesses at a loss or lost any customers in my corporate career. I made a lot of money for my clients. Win-win scenario as I get repeat business year after year and in turn new business through refferals.
I’ve witnessed highly intelligent individuals make businesses really complex and invariably lose money.

Ironically , we were on holiday last week and my average went up to 15500 From about 11000 daily . Mind you , most of those were probably steps to the bar n back . emoji898.pngemoji484.pngemoji482.png

I do more steps than that just going for a piss multiple times on a night out.

Didn't realise you are a 'the last post' regular.

So what happens now, are they out out of europe or is it a parachute into UEFA cup or Europa League, would like them still involved as a distraction while we chase them down in the league 😉

They need to get 3rd in champs league group to drop down to europa league which is highly unlikely.
