As the media starts to smell blood I have a worrying suspicion that what began as a noble quest for truth and justice will disintegrate into an unseemly clamour for revenge and retribution which will ultimately not serve to pay tribute to those who were tragically killed.

Took my younger brother to see Maiden at the Apollo and still remember the look on my mother's face when he was telling her how much the balcony was moving! Also the thought that the bass drum was going to change the rhythm of my heartbeat, happy days!

I had a membership for Newcastle before all seater stadia which allowed access to a specific area and worked because there was no seating, I also used to have season ticket for Sunderland (the things you do when you can't get home regularly) and got sick of the bloke two rows behind me who coached the players from 200 feet away so I can see the attraction when there are a group of friends sitting together. StuD's point about Sunderland moving their fans is a bit spurious as they moved the away fans high into the premier concourse to give home fans all the lower level seats right round the ground.

I always try to get up for the last home game of the season, and although I do avoid the games against the ugly sisters I had decided to come up for this one....however not now.

Just home and agree that Gow had some good touches but there was a lack of pace in the front pairing. Wide players did well when they managed to get going but I'll take the points all day long.

I think your post is pretty spot on, it is a question of faith, empirical evidence would suggest Saints aren't the best club in the world but our faith in them, although often challenged, is seldom given up on. Btw have enjoyed the debate!

Agree Sonny, I don't get to as many games as I'd like and after visiting my dad in his nursing home am often left with the odd hour or so to kill, end up giving money to Starbucks but would rather give it to the club in a warm and Saints related atmosphere.

Would have been nice to had this issue sorted during construction with perhaps one of the corners of the south stand being a raised, covered and sheltered area and a ramp up to it perhaps as a nod to Love Street, never mind as along as there is progress now no matter how late it is.

In the greater scheme of things is renegotiating the treaty with Europe any different than devo plus? Just a thought.

Looking forward to this don't mind the evening kick off, leave work at 3 and be in Paisley in plenty of time for a game with a greater potential for success than the original fixture!!!!

I really think this is a great appointment, he brings spirit, determination and a love for the club which, if mirrored in some of the playing staff, would see us in a much better position than we currently are.

Sorry StuDick but I travelled 150+ miles in constant snow the driving conditions were at worst tricky but at no point dangerous unless basic understanding of excessive speed on unusual surface conditions are beyond people which wasn't my experience yesterday.

Just back and reading the thread, obviously disappointed that it was called off, but unless it had been done before 10 am it wouldn't have made a difference to my travel arrangements, having said that it snowed all the way back less the last 30 miles or so and only took me 30 mins or so longer to get home so not pleasant but not as hazardous as some notorious correspondents are making out.

Used to buy my vinyl from Stereo1 before I moved to the north east since then CDs and electronic music, still have a turntable and listen to records regularly deffo recommend making sure your vinyl is clean tho'. Would also agree that the quality of your amp and speakers will have an effect on your listening pleasure.
