Lowest ranked team in the tournament at home, no brainer.

So I guess we'll get England or France from Pool A, Italy from Pool D and I don't suppose it matters who from Pool B. Apologies if I've gone all Elvis there. Like that type of useless info though Slarti.

Just finished watching the second series of Irvine Welsh's Crime on ITVX, gritty, enjoyed it, now looking forward to the second series of Jack Reacher in mid December on Prime. If you haven't watched Cause of Death on channel 5, about the work of a coroner it is really interesting if also quite sad at times.

Sounds like a cheap, known quantity option.

Surprised no one has mentioned yesterdays result of…………….

You are right, quality international side only score 14 against a 'nation' with a tiny pool to select from. Shocking.

For some reason they decided to do a straight along the strip but then put up a whole load of big stands to obscure it, who'd a thunk it!

Good to see the world cup winners in waiting (in their own deluded heads) struggle to beat Malta, would love to see North Macedonia make them toil too but no doubt they'll score loads and be back to world beaters again in the roller coaster back pages.

5-1 Charlton Appleton made 11 changes for the first match, he'll be relieved to get this one over with.

Now 3-1 to Charlton would appear to be all over.

Could we see the return of Jack Ross... Where is he now I'm getting Kilmarnock and Newcastle ? ?
Cushy youth set up post at Newcastle I believe but could be wrong.

David Cameron returns to be the Foreign Minister.
Although there is plenty of precedent for this it really does smack of scraping the barrell.

That's a shame, I hope people go along to this I would have had I been at home, for all I knock the height of women goalkeepers we've committed to supporting our women's team so it would be good for those who can to give some encouragement.

Bad defeat, you've got to hope illness in the camp has contributed to two disappointing performances, much recovery and hard work to be done in the break.

On our list to watch, so thanks for the recommendation however your point re Toby Jones does sound a bit like some of the letters at the back of the TV listings mags ☺️

Agree with a lot of the above, funnily enough we were having a discussion about VAR in the office and we all thought it would be good to have an ex pro on the VAT team to assist like they do with the stewards in F1, of course we'd have the issue of ugly sister bias to deal with but non celeb former footballers would help with some of the more subjective decisions including the retrospective red cards.

VAR getting absolutely slaughter.
Robinson saying he was one of the biggest fans of bringing it in & all but admitting he’s changed his mind (now he’s seen what this version is like). Rodgers also calling for it to be binned.
Thoughts on the overarching capacity of VAR to improve the game, what Scottish football has isn’t fit for purpose. We’ve clearly went for the cheap option & it’s made the game worse. Many of us called this.
Don't remember you specifically say we'd go for a cheap option and it would be crap, my impression is that you were against VAR full stop, of course my recollection could be wrong.

Great for Jamieson

Greive unlucky there

Who do you want in the Scottish Cup 4th round?

Aye, but as my son is in Inverness I'd take that too but prefer a home tie.
