FFS what a pile of sanctimonious shite from people who are rarely off this forum about other fora, it's a tool for many people to connect with friends and family or just like minded folks, which is what BAWA is for me.
We are all using social media, because this forum is precisely that, and it is utter( yes Shull it is a perfectly acceptable word that has nothing to with P&B) hypocrisy to denounce anyone else who choose to use the media of their choice.

Simon Grayson sacked by Sunderland.

Alex Rae next? It would deffo get them the parachute payment for dropping to league 1, what they need is a Sunderland minded ex player and there is no doubt that Engerlish football will die without a strong Sunderland

It cost Ross Co £40k to sort it all out.

There were apparently a host of clubs chasing Kyle McAllister in January before he finally moved to Derby County, a team with a similar rep to Forrest. Kyle was making his mark in our first team, though opted for an early leave to England with 12 months remaining on his contract. Theres a very good chance that Forrest have made their interest known to the club and Lewis himself has been given some input. We could have a similar scenario with Lewis, with the only difference being that Morgan has less time remaining on his contract and go leave for compensation.
Agreed mate, this is his livelihood and there is no doubt that this could turn out exactly the same, I tend to take the view that until it is confirmed ( or not) then I'll go with what he has said.

Everybody and anybody, including me would take the Sevco job
Being a Manager is the easiest gig.
Look at Pedro, walking away laughing with his pockets full of money.
McInnes, being a pish Boss, will do the same at Ibrox.
Sign a lucrative Contract, make an arse of it, then get the boot adding lots of pounds into his Bank.
Then get another job.
He would be silly to turn them down.
It's all a matter of opinion of course, but in my view McInnes is doing a great job.
If ( yeah I know if my Auntie had balls etc) Aberdeen had drawn against the Tatties they would be top of the league right now.
Given the vastness of the financial gulf that exists between the two teams I think it's a great achievement.

Richie Brittain managed to get out of one with St Jonno's but think it got a bit ugly. Can't really remember the details. If I remember correctly he appealed to the fakes board and told them that he thought he had made a mistake by signing, due to family reasons, and they in turn decided ( quite rightly in my opinion) that it would be counter productive to try and force him to play for them when he wouldn't be able to give 100% to the cause, we are all human and we all make mistakes.

It may be naive of me, but the lad clearly stated that he wanted us to profit from any move he will make, until I am proven wrong then I'll take his word on it.
-
And BTW I'll be looking at somebody to sign me in to the 1877 club, even though it's fosters on tap.

Lewis and his agent have all the power right now. The only way that passes back to the club would be if he signed a 1 year extension, thus allowing the club to call the shots.
It's not going to happen.
I never claimed that he would sign an extension, and I don't believe that he would. What I am saying is that if he signed for Forrest, which seems likely, but was loaned out to us until the end of the season, and we gain promotion, then his worth to us is equivalent to the 400k that we qould get for him in january. For purely personal reasons I would love for him to stay til the end of the season because I'm all booked up for a holiday in @ Santa Mirrenland" in april next year for the title party

Of course they do, but if he stays then whether or not we are promoted, he will have fulfilled his promise to do everything in his power to get us up to the premiership, and that is worth plenty to us.
-
No, it is a "worthless statement" if he leaves in January for nothing, if he signs a pre contract to help us to be promoted, then even if we are not promoted then he has fulfilled his statement.

It's not a positive or negative scenario.
It is my gut instinct.
No good reason why he can't sign an extension.
Makes absolutely no difference to him but would help the Club he is presently employed at.
He may have been tapped.
When the term " worthless statement " is used then it is unequivocally negative, and if he signs for Forrest for the 400k mentioned and stays with us until the end of the season then I am happy with that, we would all love to keep him for a lot longer but this is never going to happen, and good luck to him, whether we like it or not.

Although " worthless statements" are something that you would be more familiar with than most of us.

I think you are being a tad harsh on the boy Shull, but hey, time will tell.

I seem to remember a statement from Lewis at the beginning of the season where he said that he was more than happy to stay with us until the end of the season and would love for the club to make a decent return on any transfer for him when he leaves, he has a great relationship with Jack and James and wouldn't want to leave without the club getting a reasonable pay off when the inevitable comes to pass.
