  1. I have to say, it would difficult to be more corny and less original than this, milord...

And ye'd need an English accent without the necessary rhotic to pull it off.

have to say it would BE difficult to be more up your own arse and patronising than this Bulto.....

You still writing ads for the Tories..?

  2. It is worth bearing in mind, however, that the people talking about the dressing room unrest might have spoken to players.

    Just saying, like.

    Might Have...?

Well if the people who say..! they are talking to the players involved in the "Dressing Room" unrest could pass on a message to said players I and I am sure a few others would be very appreciative....

    Message Reads:

Dry yir feckin eyes and do the job your paid for!

    Message Ends:

  3. It was mentioned on sportsound last Saturday. Swiss consortium still looking at club along with one or two others and that the Swiss group weren't favourites. Also mentioned that the yank mob that bought Dundee were interested in us first, hadn't heard that before.

So to sum up, we are still waiting....

"Still Looking".... but no action or communication???

There not per chance proposing a CiC..?

  4. Only been in hlicopters twice, both in America, thoroughly enjoyed the experience, also driven extemsively in Italy, helicopter any day compared to that!!

The Italians are the best drivers in the world..!

How else can it be explained that they conspire to miss each other so often, and at such close quarters..?

  5. Yes, yes and thrice yes!

I'm not even going to open your link but I doubt it could be any more absurd than retaining Lennon in the circumstances envisaged - I note you make no attempt to suggest that we'll turn things around.

So with no time to assess his squad a manager should come in for the play-offs (if thats where we end up) and somehow be able to make a group of players who took us there miraculously transform and win those two games..?

If thats such a dead cert why not employ him for the last two post-split games to prevent us even entering the play-offs..?

Or employ him after say a cup quarter final win to guarantee lifting the trophy..?

The squad of players available are more than capable of avoiding the play offs with Jimmy Krankie managing them. Danny's fate appears to be sealed come season end. Those players either want to remain Premiership players or are content to have a play-off/relegation on their cv's...

  6. There is no perfect solution - if we end up in the play-offs (and that's the most likely scenario) then it's untenable that Lennon remain in charge. At this point with our situation next year uncertain could/would the BoD commit to a deal beyond the end of the season? This would mean an interim appointment to the end of the season and that'd have to be either from within the club ie. Thompson'n'Teale or someone from the deadpool of ex-managers and Tangoman is the logical choice having been there before with Killie & County.

C'mon are you suggesting we should swap managers before a two headed tie to remain in the league?

Then again this chap is available and as feckin absurd as the other suggestions

  7. First helicopter flight: from the slopes of Wireless Ridge on the Falklands long time ago. Two of us waited all day for promised lift, eventually a big feckin chinook hovers in, lands and we run up with message scrawled on hand "2 x pax 2 PSC" (two passengers to Port San Carlos) you see we were feckin years ahead and down with the old 'txt tlk'...

The loadmaster gets on his helmet headset (Matron) then laughs at us, and beckons us onboard (this all done with the rotors still turning and being blown away with the down draft)... inside the dark and very noisy interior lots of small off-white smiles greeted us... about 100 Ghurkas to be precise... probably more than double the recommended load.

the only space for us was sitting on the ramp when it was raised up, and the crew and all those little feckers thought it was a great laugh that they kept dropping the tail ramp every so often in flight just to see our panicked expressions.... happy days (unless you hailed from the south american peninsula of course)

  8. Defiantly not the case as all communication and tracking systems were shut down manually for a reason simply so no one can see what new flight path the 777 went on. If the flight deck door was locked no one would get in. My money is on suicide

Surhirley the auto Pilot would have kicked in, in that event..?

  9. Whilst we are being surrounded by.... NOTHING as regards news on the current managers contract renewal or otherwise I think the BoD should take heed of potential missed opportunities for whoever is manager and Bod next season..!

These young pups are ripe for plucking!

GARY LOCKE, the Hearts manager, admitted that he fears his squad could be raided as the club's exit from administration drags on.

Locke has twelve players out of contract this summer but re-signing negotiations cannot begin until administrators BDO hand over power to chairperson-elect Ann Budge.

Sam Nicholson's rise to prominence at Tynecastle is likely to make the Scotland under-19 winger a target for other clubs, while goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald has had an outstanding season.

Dylan McGowan, Jamie Hamill, Jamie Walker, Jason Holt, Brad McKay, David Smith, Dale Carrick, Callum Tapping, Mark Ridgers and Gary Oliver will also be free agents at the end of the campaign.

All 12 would be entitled to open negotiations with suitors but Locke, whose side are bound for relegation from the SPFL Premiership, hopes he does not lose his best players.

  10. There used to be a guy called somner9 who reckoned Lennon would have to guide us to a Top Six finish or another cup win to get a new contract - perhaps he could have told us!

    Maybe he could have?

Looks like he,s gonna be proved right Re: Danny,s contract renewal

  11. What part of we are at the bottom of the pile (excluding hertz) do you not get? Any and i mean any other football manager could not do much worse than Danny. The fact that we are bottom of the pile means that anyone who comes in will look a messiah if he keeps us up. You must have missed the post i made calling for Owen Coyle to take us over just in the short term to keep us up. Shouldnt cost to much for what 2 months work.

    Owen Coyle..?

Yeah I suppose we could go for him, or Steve Clark, Martin Jol, Rene Muhlwhatsit, Michael Laudrup, possibly BIlly Davies soon too..? They are all out of (nearly in Davies,s case) contract and feckin we'll beyond our price range...

You think this Bod are going to pay up Danny,s contract and spunk money on Coyle for two months?

  12. I think we have improved since dropping DD and Goodwin being suspended, we beat Kilmarnock and played really well for 80 minutes against Dundee United. Maybe at 2-0 we could have used one of them but unfortunately had neither available.

    Ouch..!

Don't think you are going to get too many fans buying into us having played well on Saturday..?

Mind you Oscar Pistorious's lawyer maintains he had been protecting his girlfriend from burglars all night, except for the last ten minutes or so...

  13. Looking at the change in the game having only seen the highlights for me shows how we miss Goodwin or even DD in the middle breaking things up. Their three goals came through the park almost unchallenged save for our players running into each other if that counts as a challenge.

Some lazy legs by the likes of Mclean etc for the third with everyone looking back and thinking "somebody else will track back and challenge"....

It's important to note the players that got themselves two in front, also let Utd score three with virtual ease... maybe Danny is to blame??? as surely if he had his 'bits' on then they wouldn't have ridden our midfield like fat mill lassies roon shuttle street of a friday night.

  14. And still after what is it eight moths of calling for the manager to be sacked we still haven't had one credible, better replacement put forward by the DL haters...

Surely if you call for him to be sacked you can reccomend a replacement that will take us further..?

    No..?

Why thats like releasing a forward when you've got no cover....!

  15. To be fair to REA - he is now working on the council of Supporters Direct http://www.supporters-direct.org/homepage/aboutsupportersdirect/governan/councils/scotland

Here is a good picture of him wearing a Saints scarf - rather ironic that when he became Commercial Director and was to stock the shop he could not understand why football fans would want to wear a scarf in August.

REA would be the first to admit he made a lot of mistakes along the way with 10000Hours - however I'm sure it was a great learning experience for him and will no doubt help some other fans take control of their club.

    KR-ATKINSON1.jpg

Have you got a picture of him with his Huuns scarf on..?
