Just to clear this mystery up regards the "Dilo Owes $$$" banner.
A group of his mates are over from france to see him and they are trying to pressure Danny into giving him a start at the weekend, the banner was part of their 'Flash Mob' style promo for him but unfortunately it has back-fired in two ways...
- Danny insists he picks the team
- Their grasp of english has blunted the message... it should have read "Dilo Saves"

Surely any appeal on the red card will fail. Although the Hearts player was clearly looking for the foul, McAusland does grab him with both hands as the two come together. The referee deemed it a foul and under the letter of the law he's prevented a goalscoring opportunity and as a result he has to send him off.

Saints have already indicated their intention to appeal the red card.
That should mean if successful like Isma last season, the compliance officer jumps all over that diving little prick.

Anyone else agree the club should be appealing Cheesy's red card and the compliance officer should be showing consistency a 'la Isma's two game ban last year and clobbering Carrick for Simulation last night..?
Although not in the pathetic way Dundee Utd went about things.

We had better be appealing that red card and surely that's a 2 game ban for Carricks dive, like happened to Isma last season.
We should be lobbying the club to appeal, and the compliance officer should as you say be showing consistency towards simulation!

You could lose every game in season and go through them saying oh if we had took that chance or that shouldn't have been a penalty or the keeper made a good save there... fact is football is a results game. We should be beating a team like hearts this year by 2 or 3 goals

Ach, I know, and I hate myself for rising to it.
Don't know about you but when I was at school thre was this kid who suffered from epilectic fits/seizures. And there was always abunch of pricks who would on occasion corner him in a corridor and goad him till he had one.... then laugh at the state the poor bugger was in.
Picture in you mind the prick at the front trying to orchestrate this.... Ring any bells..?

Doesn't matter what "awesome array of talent" any team has - if you let in more than you score you lose the game and we have let in a hell of a lot more than we have scored. We don't score enough and we conceded far too many which is not a good combo. On the few days we do keep a clean sheet invaribably the forwards let us down and we draw 0v0. The whole squad needs a total overhaul. Of the 3 you mention 1 is old and injury prone, one is here reluctantly on loan for as short a time as he can possibly wanggle and the other has just had an operation.
So was it a red card and a penalty last night?
I agree we haevn't been scoring enough goals. But all this bluff that Thommo is tired and being asked to do too much is guff... he had 3-4 gilt edged chances served up on a plate last night and coudn't convert them.... Should someone else get a crack at leading the line?
I don't get why you would want to slag off McLean, Teale and Bahoken..? if fit and available they'd be in any team in the league, and they will be fit again, teale is a worry though.

The club have knocked back any investment since the formation of their cartel, it would mean reducing their 52prr cent holding, they have no discussion with the 48 per cent holders ,even to the point of not informing them when the AGM was being held and not sending copies of the accounts.
The club is stagnating and is in freefall if nothing changes soon

are you really suggesting that no one could by shares if they approached a shareholder and offered them what they wanted?
I do get your point Re: the consortium grouping their collective shares to force a sale to them... but if someone really wanted to invest (which we all know in scottish football means kiss your cash goodbye) then approaching the big shareholders in the 48% and buying their stakes to get towards 30% would soon entice one or more of the consortium to break ranks and sell to you.
The reality for the consortium is no one to date actually wants to use their own money (£1- 2m) to buy a football club that needs to fund a 300 - 400k shortfall....

People are genuinely concerned and upset, and when this is the case, it takes a certain kind of person to regard this as an opportunity to entertain himself.
That's all by the by, however. What is more intriguing to me is why you aren't more concerned by our perilous position and the possibility that the club might resort to signing what is an odious piece of filth. Perhaps you just don't care as much as most of us?

I see the usual suspects are/were queuing up last night and this morning at the 'Incontinence Clinic' soggy Y-fronts and all heaping scorn and calling for DL to get the push....
Pity most hadn't been at the game (self included) or indeed waited to see the highlights which showed Mc Causland being wrongly sent off, and a penalty given that never was. In addition Thommo's nose for goal eluded him as on another day with the service and chances he got last night he would have been on a hat-trick at least.
Thommo got some great balls in the first half and a couple of peaches from Wylde in the second, how he never purposefully connected I don't know? But those were gilt edged chances to win the game, coupled with the post and bar being rattled what was it four times by a variety of saints....
Yes we got beat, although the winning goal shouldn't have been. But the team pushed forward on different fronts a bit like easter road and tore Hearts apart, without the just rewards. With Bahoken, McLean and hopefully Teale to return we have an awesome array of talent going forward... what we lack is a consistent central defence performance. Cheesy ran back and played everyone onside for their goal (penalty doesn't count) then neither he nor anyone else got under the incoming cross....

Parkin was respite for Thompson he who has played in every game for us so far and only been substituted three times - all but 30 minutes of our season!
Carey never worked out for us in his second spell but he seems to be doing better with County this season albeit he's still to recapture the form he showed in his first spell with us.
Ah....
So Danny should be looking for "Respite" care for Thommo, not a double figure goals a season guy..? That makes sense

Parkin was decent cover for Thompson, and a totally different type of player from Campbell. You are comparing apples and oranges with that one. It would have been more appropriate to refer to Bahoken in this context....aherm.
Parkin managed three goals in all apps. how the feck is that cover for Thommo's 42 and counting?
Wylde in my opinion is a better bet than Carey, young, talented, right attitude and still a work in progress. Carey was a wee bit worse than he thought he was, and proved inconsistent over the piece.
