Dae that yersel ????

Where is it suggested the complex will be?
That bit comes next.
If we can demonstrate positive demand then we'll look at what could be in it & what size that needs to be.
Then we'll find a site that fits our requirements.
Paisley town centre though & we've already got a short list to consider.

I got as far as question 5, I couldn't answer it as there is no "don't know" or "don't care" option. Either a survey compiled by idiots or one designed to get a skewed result.
Thanks for your feedback.

A welcome first step toward opening the high street to traffic at all times & as part of the wider regeneration strategy.
This should be supported & encourage the high street to be open with safe crossing points included in the new layout during the day. -

If Smisa are not the organisation to front fan ownership (I think it is best placed atm) and another fan group emerges & are ultimately successful then Smisa have no purpose.
It's now or never.
New, competent, motivated & suitable people will come forward to head this up if the desire is there & a call goes out.
-
No. SMISA looked into fan ownership last year and with the resources available it wasn't feasible.
Membership has increased significantly over the past 12 months and SMISA is a co-operative trust - it it is something the majority of SMISA members wanted to do, they could choose to move the trust in that direction.
If resources were available then?
-
although no strategy is place to buy the 52% right now, the newly elected smisa committee has yet to meet to determine plans aims and actions for the next year.
Although the situation the club could find itself in, from being in the championship and the financial impact of that, to the current extensive discussions on fan ownership coupled with potential legislation, will determine priorities and aims over the next month or so.
Fortunately with an increase in membership and number of committee (10) the supporters trust are in a somewhat better position to help deal with some of those issues
also, the momentum even just in the last week, is building on the subject of fan ownership
the more people who join smisa and the more people offering active support on the committee the more it will allow the bigger issues to be addressed
Would it be appropriate at this time for Smisa to step forward with a new & clear objective to be the conduit for fan ownership?
-
I've joined Smisa recently.
I'd like Smisa to increase membership & have a short term objective of purchasing the majority shareholding in St Mirren fc for a fair price ASAP.
-
Baby steps indeed but positive progress.
Go forward with positive intent whilst remaining cautious.
Early days to be placing a value or making an offer, although would be lower than figures previously touted.
-
stop the bickering pls.
Too much at stake

I've said for a while now I'd like to be a member as well as season ticket holder & supporter of the club.
I've felt distant & kept at arms length for a while now.
If this came to pass it would be our club & I'd feel part of St Mirren FC again.
Happy to contribute towards a sensible offer for control of the club.

Too many for me. I wouldn't keep either keeper, they are both poor, as are both the left back options.
Naismith is ok, can see a case for keeping him.
Cant argue with that either
Would keep the keeper and Kelly though IMO both will be good players in a lower league

Interesting discussion here recently.
What is an acceptable share transfer cost, given our trading & profit profile in recent years?
Notwithstanding being a lower league club, would less than £300k be a fair offer for goodwill?

Seen better players sold or leave before, he'll be replaced and we will survive.
Next drama...

Any player or employee openly supporting a competitor & mocking their employers & supporters is disrespectful & stupid in the least. I'd find a way to move him on.

New owners,
New signings,
New start,
give me a shout if anything changed, I'm outa here...

Tell us who gave you the info Div, you yourself are asking for answers on our club predicament, so on that principle i ask you to tell us who gave you the info, because it's looking like there will be no announcement "this week"
That's fair.

Arts Centre is still open and as far as I know there are no plans otherwise,
Russell will be office space.
