Probably shouldn't post while that horrendous performance is still raw, but I need the therapy.
Murray got the job from our clueless BoD because he was a young manager that can string a sentence together and wears sharp suits. I'm ashamed to say he fooled me too, in thinking he was a good appointment.
His initial arrogance, "We are closer to Rangers and Hibs than people think," shows how naive he was when taking the job on. He is a total conman who doesn't have a clue what he's doing. His decisions, especially tactically during games are ridiculous. It's obvious that the players don't respect him and are not playing for him.
He's not going to walk with our BoDs crazy 2 year contract in his pocket. Is there any Buddie out there that thinks he should be given more time? Can Miller guide him and help him develop into a good manager to keep us up and push for promotion next season? I can't see it.

You beauty!!! Don't try to sit on this Saints!!

Strange one, but I suppose we couldn't expect to get someone in with a better CV. Impossible to predict what will happen, but we badly needed to change something. Don't think he'll take any prisoners, which we've needed for a while at the club. Saints roller coaster continues.

In the centre circle.
"Obvious goalscoring chance"?
Yeh bud, as salcoatsbuddie says, if a player would have a 'free' run in on goal with only the keeper to beat, it has to be deemed as a clear goal scoring opportunity, even if there is a chance of a speedy defender catching them. Hopefully we'll get a similar decision in our favour, even if it's Thommo getting pulled back on the halfway line.

Was soft. Reid got himself in trouble by getting wrong side, but contact looked minimal and the Falkirk player hit the deck like a bag of tatties. Suppose if it had been the other way round, we'd be screaming for a red.Totally . Thought the 2nd red was pretty soft also .
But as you said , we were mince yesterday and deserved sfa .

Just saw a replay of Baird's red card. Not using it as an excuse for our poor performance, but what an utter joke of a decision.

We are a smallish club in terms of the top flight, but we are too big a team for Murray to manage. He's clearly out his depth and underestimated the job in hand.
It's just an opinion, but he doesn't come across like he cares as much as he should either. His team have only shown real fight and passion for 90 minutes against the 'big' team last week in front of the cameras.
The one thing in his defence is that he has brought in a few good players, but he doesn't know how to utilise them. He's way too negative.
McNamara did a good job at Thistle and I reckon Hughes(if he became available) could lift the place, but who knows?? Unfortunately Murray's 2 year contract will influence the BoDs thinking.

At least Murray can't get the team to sit on 0-1.

Just bought tickets for Wolf Alice at the Barrowlands next year. Spoke about this band on here a good while ago - I saw them at King Tuts when they only had an EP out, then recently saw them at the O2 ABC. Now Barrowlands, next stop the Hydro. Guarantee they're heading that direction. Their debut album has been Mercury Prize nominated, they're on 'Later' tonight... When I first stumbled across them I knew they were heading to the big time. Great modern rock band. IMHO he added.
Totally agree. Had tickets to go and see them at ABC, but wife fell ill the day before and I had to miss it. Was totally gutted. Best band I've heard in ages, with a bit of Breeders, Pixies and Smashing Pumpkins mixed in there. Singer is quite easy on the eye too. Their album was the soundtrack for the family touring round Islay and Mull this summer, so kids are into them as well. Great band, IMHO too.

The late hit on Hogg was disgraceful. To compare that deliberate assault to the ridiculous yellow we got sums up rugby for me. With the TMO and how stop start the game is, to miss these things is so frustrating.
I'm not a massive fan of the egg chasing, but our football team could learn from the rugby boys, about how to sing their national anthem with a bit of pride and play with their hearts on their sleeves.

Just in, roadworks on Forth Bridge were horrendous, but who cares; my wee girl is finally celebrating seeing her first Saints victory and what a goal to win it.
Great 3 points, but sitting back 2nd half(again) was hard to watch. Langfield was superb for us today and good to see wee McMullan back running at defences.
Murray still has to sort our shape/tactics for our next few games, but a wins a win. First beer of the night tasting good.
-
They've missed 2 great chances. We are sitting way too deep.... again.
-
Not playing great, but standing up to them a bit better and not getting bullied like last time. Thommo and Goodwin leading by example, taking no sh*te. Need another goal though. Great goal by wee Stevie.

What a hit!!! Ya beauty.

Stupid, stupid challenge. Big let off.

A cheerie weekend for us all. Took our goals well today. Well done the Saints, lets kick on!!!

Is it wrong to take such pleasure out of a team losing?
Watching the hugely arrogant Inverdale squirming post match was fantastic, so I would say no.
You can shove your f*#king chariot up yer arse too. Well done to the Aussies for a great performance and thanks for slightly dulling the pain of our trip to SMP yesterday.

Meant he was looking to get on the ball, but yet again was blowing out his arse 2nd half.Mallan was busy thinking about what he was gonna get 4 dinner. A kebab would be my guess.

Just in after a long trek with my two kids on toe again. We will be taking a break from coming through now. Keep thinking, this week will be the turning point, the platform to build our season on.
Today has made my mind up. Murray hasn't got it. It seems the players have no faith or belief in him. He is lost and has no direction or game plan.
Goodwin, yet again and Gallagher were looking to take responsibility and make things happen. Shankland got his goal I suppose. Mallan was busy, but couldn't hit the target with any of his free kicks. The rest didn't do much or were poor. Unfortunately, Thommo does not look like a leader to me. McMullan is our best player, so we need him back quick.
Dark times ahead. Dunfermline will be rubbing their hands and Murray will be climbing further back into his shell. This is pish!!!!

Another disgusting performance, even if we sneak a winner. We're just not a 'team'. It's horrendous.
-
Does feel like a preseason game. Too slow going forward. Haven't really looked like scoring. Gallagher having a bit of a go.

This is horrendous. It's the same pish game plan every week. Can't believe we're still winning.
