On current form, Livi should win this comfortably, however, fortunately form goes out the window in this one off semi.
Just as likely Livi will have a wee dip in form or suffer a bout of overconfidence - and surely we’re due a performance.
There’s no doubt our players need to play better than they have in recent weeks, individually and collectively, and JG needs to find a better formation, otherwise we will lose. Even if Livi don’t turn up.
Think JG will go for 4-4-1-1.
Defence picks itself
One up top (Brophy?) with McGrath just behind.
But I struggle to see who to start in midfield:
Connolly and Durmus out wide ?
Erhahon and Flynn/Foley central ?
Livi have looked very good recently, but their form has to end sometime and no reason that can’t be Sunday.

(Yes, I know - it’s the hope that kills you) -
I’d love to see us start Brophy alongside Erwin, with Obika to come off the bench after an hour if we need to change it.
Quaner to for a 5-10 minute cameo, depending on where his match fitness is.
Seems the Fakes played pretty well tonight with over 20 attempts on goal, so our defence will need to be on their game if we want to pick up any points.

Turrabuddie, I am in absolutely no way having a go at you here. Everyone chooses what is right for them. It’s more curiosity I guess.
As you’ve highlighted a few times this season you’ve been on a bit of an away game PPV ban. What was your rationale for this? I think I’m right in saying that regardless of price you haven’t gone for it. I suppose my question would be, why wouldn’t you pay £12-£17.50 to see a game that you’d have paid potentially up to £30 (but at least 20 odd quid) through the gate to see? Especially when it is literally the only way to see it as it happens.
I’ve been using IPTV for a good while now but prior to that I was always happy to pay for PPV. My rationale simple. Prior to moving to Jersey just before my 20th birthday I was a die hard home and away every week. For about 30 years the only Saints games I got to see were those that I came home for or the odd ones that were live on Sky. Over the last last 3 or 4 years the ability to see games live has been a godsend for me. I’ve been happy to pay whatever the charge was (within reason obviously) in the knowledge that the cost was always going to be less than the cost of actually being there. Even this season I’ve paid for a couple of games that I couldn’t get on IPTV.
Maybe it’s as simple as you prioritise your dough differently (probably is) but I’m curious to know.
Actually, it wasn’t the prices that lead me to stop buying our away games, although it is a benefit.
It was because of how badly we’d played in several away matches in a row. It wasn’t even the results, just the fact that we were set up to sit deep and defend and only the occasional foray forward.
On the back of several encouraging results/performances I watched the Killie match - not an easy watch.
I live in north Aberdeenshire so I’d normally attend more away games than home- in Perth, Aberdeen and Dundee.
Home matches entail about 9hrs of driving and end up costing approx £100 - a long and expensive day out, but always worthwhile, especially if my son comes along !
Genuinely enjoy our Saturday night tv with the kids much more if I haven’t watched is toil in an away game !
Home games are different as, regardless of the performance or result, I feel good knowing I have contributed financially to the club.

Is it only me who thinks it's just a tad too much, I don't mind £15 but £17.50 shows their aspiration to catch Livingstone surely.
I’ll be re-instating my self imposed boycott of ppv for away games this weekend so, although I am very interested in seeing Brophy score his first goal for us, I will not be shelling out £17.50 for the privilege of watching it live.
Not a fan of using illegal streams and depriving clubs of much needed cash - personal view and not a dig at anyone else.
Will review the Premier Sports subscription after the semi final ! -
The penalty wasn't any softer than the one given against Shaughnessy v the Fakes.
Exactly. Soft, but technically correct.
Wouldn’t have been a penalty a few seasons ago, but unfortunately, is now.
Will definitely take it though ! -
I'll be shocked if he starts, most likely 30 mins off the bench. Lovely stuff
Agree, Brophy to come off the bench after an hour.
The only question is do we start with Obika up front on his own, or with a partner ? -
Hardly an unusual occurrence at Parkhead.
I see what you did there. Nice. -
Hate to ask... is anyone aware of he’s available for tomorrow?
I believe I read somewhere that he’ll be in the squad for tomorrow.
Collin not available until Fakes away the following weekend. -
just got on... 1-0 [emoji20]
Same for me. Just in time for me to see Killie take the lead.
Crap feed
Crap free kick to give away
Crap goal
Off to get another beer from the fridge .... -
I don’t expect SPFL to take the same stance, despite this and what’s happened down south.
I would be pleasantly surprised if they did....
I don’t think any clubs have confidence in the SPFL, but what was interesting is that it was the Italian Olympic committee that overturned the original ruling. -

Or live on most people's telly's. 🤪
Sorry, not for me - still enforcing my self imposed on ppv for away matches. Been successful recently ! -
11 games?
I count only 9 so far since our defeat at Aberdeen.
It's a fabulous run anyway amd I couldn't care less if we're inclusing games against the likes of Queens Park.
Just realised that we have not lost a game since Jake Doyle-Hayes joined us. The man hasn't tasted defeat in the black and white stripes yet.
I think JDH has never lost while playing for us. Incredible really.
He needs to sign an extension to his current contract. He’s clearly enjoying the platform we’ve given him - it would be win win for player and club. -
Great display tonight after a poor start. Dylan MoM.
Connolly was excellent, but so was McGrath. In fact, it truly was a magnificent team performance. -
Why was Goodwin given the redcard
Raising one arm and slapping it with the other in the good old universal expression of GIRFUY !! -
Was dead on his feet mate
No wonder, never stopped running all night. -
What a terrific team goal. Good play from Obika too
-
With a chance of progression to the next round we need to achieve one of two things
score more than one goal
score all 5 penalties
Agree. But, however unlikely, a red card for them would make it more interesting.
And with the pace of Connelly, and trickery of Durmus and McAlister, you never know ... -
Only team getting 5 penalties will be Sevco
Maybe it will be different this time.
Maybe, just maybe .....
I know, I know. it the hope that kills you ! -
One thing we need to do is match the work rate of Rangers. They look fitter than any side we have played and work all over the pitch. I worry about the pace of Tait against Tavernier.
Agree, but I think they need to be as concerned about the pace of Connolly.
Going by form it wouldn’t be a surprise if we get gubbed tomorrow. However....
Having followed tonight’s matches, there is a chance, however small that, if we play well and have a bit of luck, we can actually win this tie.
It would help if the they get a red card.
It would be helpful if Dallas manages not to give them a penalty......
Looking forward to the match though.

League goals from our strikers this season: Obika 2, Erwin 1, Morais 0
Who scored the other 6 goals ? -
Fantastic result. Im begining to believe again [emoji7]
I may buy ppv for the next away match !! -
Good For Brian Rice and the lift they got from coming off the bottom of the table - they are back on the foot bar 1 point and 1 goal of goal difference !
WELL done to us - decent win - wish we could score more than 1 BUT its 3 really decent points today.
Lets build on this and leapfrog the Fakes . . .[emoji460]
Three very very good points. -
Fine 3 points. Played very well in the first half. Less well in second half and hanging on a bit towards the end.
How can Durmus play so well for 45 minutes, then disappear from the game in the second half?
And can't understand why JG persists with Erwin. Doesn't seem to offer anything when he comes on.
Was it us playing less well or them playing better ?
Got to think Robinson read them the riot act at HT, and perhaps mentally we dropped a bit deeper.
