  1. So I’ve decided to fork out on ppv and watch the game tomorrow.

By all accounts we were absolutely honking against Airdrie but I’m hoping the players will give a positive reaction to the rightful criticism that was levelled at them from supporters, manager and media.

Surely we can’t be as bad again.

    Surely ….

  2. So you basically volunteered to pay for dinner, then...
I bought a season ticket and have no regrets.

I’m pleased you’ve got a ST, along with more than 3k others.

I live in north Aberdeenshire - ST was going to be a wee treat for myself and a way of putting some more money into the club - I only manage 2-3 home matches a season plus away trips to County, Dons, Dundee and Perth.

Unfortunately , I don’t feel like giving the club the extra funds right now.
    That may change.

Yes, I’ll be buying dinner !

  3. Wondering if this is the year we move on long rumoured targets - Scott Allan and Mikey Johnstone.

Mike’s Johnson would be an interesting prospect as it seems unlikely he’ll be getting much game time at Parkhead next season.

I was keen on us signing him on loan a couple of years ago but really don’t think he’s looked the part when given an opportunity at Celtic.

I’m sure he would benefit from a move, needs a move if he wants to progress his career.

  4. Unfortunately I can’t see anything other than a meaningless end of season match today with neither set of players being that interested in the outcome.

The score could be anything so I’m not going to make any prediction of the score.

Looking forward to an afternoon in the Aberdeen sunshine with hopefully sporadic outbreaks of enjoyable football to keep me awake before enjoying a few post match pints with Dons workmates - likely discussing the managerial merits, or otherwise, of Goodwin.

  5. From St Mirren Facebook....

Reminder that the St Mirren Ticket Office will be open today between 12pm and 7pm for anyone wishing to buy tickets for our final match of the 2021/22 season against Aberdeen.

Aberdeen have informed us that there will be no sale of tickets on matchday.

Nightmare - I have just emailed Pittodrie ticket office asking about this. Looks like I’ll be spending my lunch hour down there today and probably tomorrow.

It is frankly ridiculous how difficult clubs are making it for fans to attend matches.

  6. Family commitment so no ppv or go to the game but just watched the end on Alba.

Inexplicable mistake from Adam but Greive was in the right place and took it well.

Main’s finish was fantastic. Where has this player been all season ?

I trust Robinson to get the best out of the current players we keep and those we bring in.
    Looking forward to next season.

Before then, I’m looking forward to attending the match at Pittodrie knowing there’s absolutely no pressure.
(Post match beers with Dons supporting work colleagues will be all the more enjoyable since the result will be pretty much irrelevant).

  7. No need to eat humble pie. I think that most of us felt similarly about Main. Main, Gocic, Killie and Ronan and the human Dynamo that is Grieve all had a good game as you say. Main was my choice of motm but any one of these might have been others choice.

I thought Main was excellent today, definitely his best game for us.

May not be a popular viewpoint, but I believe SR will prove to be a good appointment.

  8. So, another Saturday morning. Another game day. Another day when my heart takes over from my head.

Since the fixtures were announced I viewed this as a game I would attend. And one we would lose. Handsomely.
However, come match day and things change.
I am not able to attend. (But I will buy ppv).
    I now don’t think we’ll get humped. I don’t think we’ll win, but I don’t think we’ll lose.
It’s a must win for the Fakes and I think that pressure will be too much.
We will need the rub of the green, but we’re due that aren’t we ?

    1:1 (Greive)

  9. Two poor sides. We were exceptionally poor.

Certainly didn’t deserve to win but I’m not sure we deserved to lose either.

A really tough watch and, at £15, hugely overpriced.

Regardless it looks like it’s all about our next two games - away in Perth followed by Dundee at home.

While I don’t expect victories, as long as we don’t lose both we should be safe.

  10. Hibs missing about 7 players for this 1, surely we can park the bus and scrape a draw [emoji854]

I may be being greedy but I’d love to see us start these post split matches with a win.

No reason we can’t either, regardless of how many player Hibs may or may not be without.

    2-0 home win (Brophy, Ronan)

  11. I'd be very surprised if we went to Pittodrie on the last day safe from 11th, there's likely going to be something riding on that game. Would anyone be surprised if it was Jim's Aberdeen who consigned us to the playoffs?

Could be the other way round with us consigning Jim’s Dons to the play offs.
Not likely but it is possible.
