It could have happened if he hadn't been sacked.
I believe if we had kept Fergie and Bobby Reid never got injured we would have won the league .

It seems we have accepted offers from Linfield and Glentoran for 20 year old Kieran Offord who scored 10 goals in 20 games for a mid-table team in N.I. if he wasn't our player he'd probably be the sort of player we'd be looking at.
Mooney aside {as so far we've seen little of him} We don't have a natural goal scorer in the team, I've no idea how good Offord is, But a natural goal scorer will score goals at any level.
The manager seemingly has offered him a new contract too, So with Olusanya most likely leaving and a few others too, hopefully he's thinking it over and willing to stay, It could be our lack of giving our young players game time is going bite us in the arse this time.
Offord has great potential , but it's worth bearing in mind his record in senior football in Scotland is played 60 scored 9 . Hard call for St Mirren to make as £100k is decent money .
I wish Kieran well , but our squad would be massive if we kept on every player with potential .

Started for Fleetwood on Saturday and played 90 minutes . They are delighted to have him back .

Played a full 90 minutes in Fleetwoods two nil win at Salford .

That’s where I got the 5ft 10 but if he’s 6ft 3 I apologise as I went with Wikipedia.
I got that from Crystal Palace official website , hopefully its correct . In all fairness Franco would have been 5ft 10 earlier on in his career .

Even as Saints fans I cannot understand the negativity surrounding this.
Ok he has not many games in Ireland but he has played regularly in the Palace U21's , thats a league of teams which would probably challenge Celtic in Scotland and he has been on the bench for Crystal Palace in the EPL multiple times even if he hasn't played to make it to there says that an EPL team must see something there.
But of course Saints fans know better
I think he will be a good signing . Fast , versatile , hard working , 6ft three what's not to like .

Me and two mates ( Spencey and big Davy C ) ran a bus to the Aberdeen v St Mirren game in 1980 . A full bus left the cellar bar at £3.25 a ticket . Mind chapping the door of the guy who ran Carruth buses , who lived on Caledonia Street and agreeing to pay him in advance .

Great performance today . Great link up play and great partnerships through out the team . Full backs got forward and constantly got crosses in , Mandron led the line well and constantly linkedup play from the front .Kwon was superb ,excellent positioning ,seldom wasting a ball and constantly got stuck in , Kiltie , Scott and CBM had great games too . Hemmings had little to do , but what he did he did well . Not often I've seen a Saints team where everyone plays well .

Seems he was caught in a trap at Southend .
-
Think he could be a right good player . He was disillusioned at Southend having played under several managers , not received wages because the club were bankrupt and seen some players get the opportunity to move on but himself held back because Southend wanted too much money . His move to Iceland was to make him a free agent . Could be a great signing . Wonder if Anton Ferdinand was involved in any way .
-
So the guy on the right is Archie Rose , Archie played most his career at Stenhousemuir and holds the record for league appearances for Stenhousemuir . Think he might have even been Stenhousemuirs manager when Saints appointed him as a coach . He used to be my boss and would give me the odd Saints story . Good guy .
-
Checked his twitter account and saw a couple of clips . He was one of the youngest players to get to 100 first team appearances for Southend and also played for Southend when they were in league one . Seems like he was a great prospect as a youngster ( four Southend player of the month awards in a season ) im thinking he naybe lost his way a bit and hopefully Saints can get the best out of him .

Still young , still learning , still improving ,being mentored to take over from Keanu Baccus . Another good bit of business by the management team .

With his long contract we would get a fantastic amount of compensation 👍🏻
And with Lee Johnsons longer contract the outgoing failed Hibs manager will likely get a superb compensation package .

Injuries will force Saints into having a team that is very comfortable with the ball at their feet and also with a bit of pace up front . Our problem will be whether the referee gives us any protection or will let them kick us off the park . Still fancy us for a win though .
-
I look forward to see how effective our forwards are in this game , Easter Road seems a big park and we have a bit of pace in our attack so it will be interesting to see how fast these guys are against a premiership team . Will also be good to see Mandron is against Premiership opposition. Coys .

We probably won't be worse off from Declan then. I still think we need a backup.
Sort of agree with this . I would prioritise a midfielder , a left back and a central defender above a striker at this stage . Though it would be nice to bring in all four .
-
Hopefully this deal will allow us to bring in an experienced centre half that's strong in the air and a good organiser and Lewis Strapp . Which would Hopefully give us sufficient cover in defence.

I'm looking forward to getting Ayunga back and seeing Nahmani and him play together. The ability of Ayunga to bully defences and get the ball to Stav in space could be a good combination for us with Grieve and Mandron as back up and alternative options.
But how do we squeeze the " mystery striker " into the starting line up .
-
We have Keith Lasley and Martin Foyle both doing key jobs , I,m sure with these guys in the background Robbo can get on with the job .

Think we need centre half and desperately need a left back. Taylor, Tanser are defo not up to it for those positions and Dunne at times is a bombscare. Midfielder would be decent and get Jamieson, Offord, Grieve out on loan....Ayunga prob won't be up and running properly till next year...might need to keep Grieve....still think goalie situation is worrying....
Can you see us getting Theirry Small again on a seasons loan ?

Has he arrived at the club and started training yet ?

Can we not just sign Umeh on loan and agree to start paying our contribution towards his pay when he is able to be part of the first team squad . Or has he picked up a l9ng term injury ?
