Can I have my money back , and an Album titled Gerry Rafferty are both very good , both were sort of re released on the transatlantic label during the early seventies , the songs were recorded before Stealers Wheel were formed and the albums were released after Suck in the Middle . You could probably buy them for an old record shop for about a tenner each

the reverse of most Saints games for the last couple of years , I think under good management and good preparation , you get the breaks

One of my memories during the build up to that game was Steven Pressley talking about how Psychology was required to get his players motivated for the game , then allowing the papers to take a picture of him and his stupid beard sitting at a chair reading a Psychology book as if to prove the point ..........what a fanny

I thought most scouting networks were made up of volunteers / Saints fans watching their son play at the racecourse and spotting a gem on the next pitch " , I would h it would be the managers responsibility to have a network in place to identify he best young players locally

maybe its the right time to give Fullarton a try , he has experience working in the championship and could hopefully use his contacts to bring in the right loan signings , Stuart McCall would be a great choice as would Callum Davidson ,

A sensible move for Billy , the wages we would be able to offer would be the same as a club in the bottom six of the SPL ( assuming we want him ) , he knows and enjoys the set up in Paisley, he would be a popular choice and confident he could deliver ten goals between now and the end of the season , get him signed , or at least invite him to Ralston to get a look at him

Its not just goals we need Mehmet for , we need a hard working centre forward that can hold the ball up and wait for support , or if necessary take the ball to the corners towards the end of the game and see the game out .I think he would do very well for us , he worked well feeding Dornan when he made his runs , wonder if he could do the same with wee Stevie Mallan

Shocking stats bearing in mind how many attack minded players we have in the squad , maybe its time to give Thommo a remit to coach the strikers , also that we start playing with three up front , its looking likely we won,t be the hunt for a top four place , so might as well try and entertain.

Yeah not a great deal, I recall Gardner as being a bit of a joke player? He'd prob be a star in the current team mind you. I wonder if McLean or mcginn will become full caps? No champions league or World Cup though. I always admired lambert (until he went to celtic) as he maximised his talent to achieve so much with good technical ability and improved discipline from going abroad. He was also willing to try a new experience/challenge and ultimately got his reward
I,m sure it was reported as £175k plus Gardiner , but later we heard the fee was nearer £100k , apparently there was a sell on clause ( not sure of the percentage , but it could have been as much as %50 ) ,
The money received for Lambert probably stopped us going bust that month

Best name in the original Stealers Wheel line up has to be Aerial Bender ( who I think was also in M the Hoople ) , changed his name by deed poll after an evening vandalising cars
