  1. I think the simple (and obvious) answer is that regardless of what players are available , the performances need to improve.

We only react to what we see on the pitch and first and foremost that needs to be better performances .....then at least if results aren't positive, we can at least see effort and progress and will stick with it.

Once that goes then the fans will react and ultimately so will the board ...and Rae isn't a daft boy, he'll know that too.

So whether we want him to go or not? if the team don't sharpen up on the pitch then the board will act  ...we've all seen this movie before

Jamie Fullarton was a guest on off the Baw before game and said he was on gardening leave until end of this season after getting sacked by notts county last season.so you can't touch another job if on gardening leave..so that's quite strange him taking notes when out the game so to speak

Not necessarily , I assume these guys are always 'working' cos let's face it, management isn't exactly a secure business.

If he took another job then any payments would stop I think ?

was his name not mentioned before Rae got appointed?

Of course they would, unemployed managers or up and comers would both still be attracted to the Saints job.

Got to agree , I came back for the first time in a while and saw Jamie Fullarton sitting close to me in the stand taking notes. Saints might have been poor on Saturday but young managers who want to make a mark would still come, as would some of the ones with a few more miles on the clock
