  1. An observation regarding Dumbarton FC:  I like many other purchased my PPV early as I usually do, of course then Dumbarton get a positive covid test and etc, etc.  My point is that without even requesting a refund, my £12 was back in my account Saturday morning, very impressed particularly since they are a part time club. Well done Dumbarton FC.

Nobody gets their arrogance shoved down their throats. Anybody who has actually visited to these countries know that it doesn't exist.

Anyway, it would seem quite stupid for anyone to compare the arrogance of the media of one country against the population of entire nations, especially when it's made up xenophobic pish.

Why would anybody support a country that sided with Germany during 2nd world war?  Ffs our grandpas, families etc stood side by side with the English to fight off these invaders but now its ok to support them at football. Get tae feck, England all the way.....fecking Scotland got a draw against England and became the greatest team in world with best player ever in Gilmour. Scottish media just as bad. COME ON ENGLAND emoji636.png

It's not often I agree with G.O.W, but I do here, this thing we Scots have supposedly got for the English is bloody childish, Scotland v England 'let's kick the sh*t out of them' but against Italians.....................yer aving a girraffe.

According to Paisley Depress 4000 fans could “potentially” be in the stadium

Have to agree with a poster above……..we should have followed M’wells example and offered free STs this season

But given that season ticket money directly impacts who we sign , surely that just detracts from the team which given last years improvement seems rather silly, I for one would rather pay and increase the potentiality of the team.

I think season ticket sales will be down quite a bit this year. A lot of people i know not re-newing or even going to return. I used to enjoy a Sat at games but to be honest haven't missed it at all.

I think it would be fair to say not too many people would miss you either.  :)

Another own goal by St Mirren and kick in the teeth to the fans who dug deep last year to pay for single and multiple season tickets. These fans loyalty has not been reward or acknowledged by the club. The club ran a campaign to be in that number then proceeded to sell TV games cheaper than the season ticket.

After the club had the fans money they made no attempt to engage or reward these loyal fans. Even made them pay again for cup games.

Now to be teased to get a new season ticket with no new incentive other than your chance to be possibly put in a ballot for 1 of 500 does not inspire me to rush out and buy my ticket. 1 of 500 from a club that has a habit of having a rather incestuous approach to handing out the clubs wares.

Tip to SMFC treat your fans as customers and give them the respect that they are due especially when you have your hands out asking for money

I enjoyed your input so much; might I suggest you stick yer heed up yer own ass and fart long and loudly and jest hope it's no a wet wan.  :)

What do you class as showing capability previously?

I've looked at Mains scoring record, can't find anything resembling that he's showed he's capable?

Off the boil..........................never been close to boiling TBH.

His BEST league tally was 8 from 38 games in the English league 1.

wonder what his 'assist' rate is?

As we, fingers crossed, come close to the end of flippin lockdowns, what have been, if any, benefits over the last 15 months?

I'm honestly struggling to see any real improvements to life in general.

still being here might be classed as a bit of a bonus?

Definitely some sence for me, especially where he's talking about lack of investment in the game.

Yes it much the same way Sevco and Celtic  did, for the top teams ie; uknowhoo keeps all the cash.  Cobblers, we need a more inclusive approach, if using the yanks as an indicator is to have any chance of success it would only be by doing the exact opposite, what comes to mind are phrases such as couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, a decent sh** in a brothel etc, etc.   I mean we just got shot of this stupid idea for a European super league and now this typical Yankee brashness just got promoted and wants to take over.

Wouldn't offer a contract to Connolly.  No end product whatsoever.

We need to find a version of Obika who can find the net more often.

    Would bin Quaner also.

Would keep Durmus and Doyle-Hayes but they will go.

Probably McGrath too, hopefully for a decent fee.

    Try and offload McAllister.

Flynn I think may be time to move on unfortunately.

So... a lot of work for Goodwin in the summer

I would love to keep Flyn because he is quality and Connoly because he is fast and a grafter

What I want to know is, given all the talk about top 4 and top 6 (which I fully support) and us nearly making the latter and getting close to a Cup final already, why the f**k has something like this not already been identified and resolved at least a year ago?

This shouldn't even be an issue. All the focus should be on winning this Cup.

    Someone hasn't done their job.

I blame you, you seem to know everything else that's going on, so why not this?

Durmus was MOM.by a mile. He was excellent emoji122.png good debut for young Henderson as well

Rumours abound, (really) that Durmus is away and Quaner is too many pennies for us charity cases, shame as on the little we have seen he does seem to have potential and Durmus who has been OK + not superb does seem to be coming on to his game. Funny that how players looking for a new contract / club; suddenly become ........................ better, or am I just a sinic?

    Away games too.

As long as clubs price the games sensibly, they should continue to pick up the revenue stream that they've had this season.

The clubs that are bit too far away for some supporters to attend could benefit by getting a sizeable number of Saints supporters, who wouldn't have attended the game, to purchase PPV.

Most clubs were sensible with their pricing apart from Livi........................£20, too much, I think

There's been, unsurprisingly, a dramatic rise in attempts to scam the public over the last year.

I've had the rather aggressive HMRC "call" threatening bailiffs unless I pay an outstanding bill, press 1 to blah blah blah.

As this bit is automated I just hang up but I've been tempted to press 1 to see if I get to speak to a "hooman", only my worry this could incur a charge stops me.

I've also had the Royal mail text.......................my Package has been held and will not be delivered due to a £1.99 unpaid shipping fee. Vist........................Some dodgy link.

    I despair.

If only there was such an animal as an electronic Exocet!

The Greens are as much for independence and the EU as the SNP.

Perhaps you misunderstand my view which is if the people of Scotland truly want independence from the UK then go for it, I think it is NOT a good idea and to my mind the way Salmond and Sturgeon propose it it; is especially NOT a good idea. Europe has about as much chance of succeeding as a kibbutz has in a brothel. What Scotland needs as a leader is someone of the ilk of John Smith, Gordon Brown or even Jackie Baillie, not for their political views but for their innate love of their home land.

I don't think the SNP are tainted, I think a lot of what's happened really is political bluster which isn't uncommon (sadly). Are they perfect and blameless? Absolutely not. Is any political party? Also no.

Best of a bad bunch up here would be my summary. I hope for the days of a stronger Greens for my 1st and 2nd vote.

I have nothing against a party such as the SNP utilising peoples  pride of  being Scottish; although I don't (personally) think separating from a union  you are physically part of to become an even smaller part of a larger union such as  the EEC makes any sense. I think I might also prefer the Greens in charge.
