  1. I think a lot rests on tomorrow's result as to who gets a contract extension and who doesn't. JG doesn't seem to be a 'sentiment' manager and if  we don't manage tomorrow then some will go and others brought in that will push the club higher.

Oh I know mate,I’ve experienced it 1st hand in a pub in Leeds.Guy next to me heard my accent when I was ordering at the bar and asked that good old Scottish question “what team do you support?”When I told him he replied that was ok,at least I wasn’t a f*nian 🤷

Still get that down here and I've been down here since 94 about rangers/celtic. Certainly a conversation stopper when say neither and that its St Mirren😀 although workmates do like to try and wind me up over it🙄. Worst one is 'Paisley, that's Glasgow really' 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

    Will Kristian Dennis be available?

The team we played against Celtic would be the ideal team for this game. Lots of pace.

If KD is not fit, then Quaner up front would be my option.

    It’s in our hands COYS

JG in the PDE saying that Dennis could be available for the cup game v.Hamilton.

I hope he does feature in match imo a 'right place, right time' player. I've no doubt he has pushed himself to get back into the frame as this is the highest level he is likely to play at. Bit like a lower scale Jamie Vardy or Glenn Murray by taking the longest route possible to reach highest league possible for them.

Having said that KD  has always scored goals wherever he has been albeit in lower league/non league football which I think is better and more honest than EPL/Championship and some of league 1 to be fair.

I’ve seen footage where it’s quite clear the allegation is that the sevco player was called a monkey If found guilty the Prague player should be hammered If UEFA are serious about ridding football of racism then now is their chance to act and hit him with a one year ban

But..........is this not double standards from sevco? If you’re not a sevco fan then their fans consider you a dirty catholic/f**ian/t**g bastard and are not shy about voicing their opinions

So by all means take the racist complaint to UEFA and demand they act on it but this is also their chance to ask their own fans to cut out the religious bile that flows from their bigoted mouths

They won't ask their own fans that, it's unfortunately bred into them generation after generation. Believe it or not it's as bad down here.

They, Chelsea, need a centre forward.

I've watched them a few times in the last couple of months, up to 30 yards, nice, after that, run out of ideas.

Werner offers nothing, despite a decent pedigree.

I reckon they are 3/4 of a really good side, which I'm sure they'll sort in the summer.

PS Just heard Werner has 7 assists, decent, pity he can't score goals.

Oh, Chelsea also got our of jail on a penalty shout.

We could always give them Erwin

Think the preference was to have your own front and back door.

And no doubt a large development grant probably swayed things too.

Got a vivid memory of one we did where there was a kid about 14  shoving a knife through anything that was being left behind, other fella on job with me asked him why he wasn't at school. His reply was 'don't go to school, I go to the borstal'. Talk about shitting yourself, I don't  think we ever moved furniture as quick to get out🙂

A bit of a personal one here, my parents lived in the building on the right as children.

My Mum lived at 25, my Dad at 29.

Did a bit of work for my dad's mate who owned arrowhead removals doing the decanting work when the redevelopment was going on. To be fair imo it would have been money better spent to improve the housing stock oposed to demolishing it and new builds everywhere at the time as those that were demolished fairly solid homes.

This is where it gets interesting HSS....what I have heard is that  the Easedale's want the land at Cappielow, they own absolutely everything else in that area and it would be worth quite a lot to them financially. They also own the site at IBM now so the land would effectively be free.....I'm guessing what they would build would be fairly basic but would be purpose built for modern football whereas Cappielow is in some state and it costs a fortune just to keep it as it is.

In which case there must be a major development in pipeline which would include the land on which cappielow stands. As they own the IBM site like you said it would cost far less to develop. Morton unlike down here at least have the chance of this. We have a short sighted council who have the lease on 2 stadiums in workington which need large amounts of investment. A new stadium was approved by previous regime, then taken away after a couple of major companies had invested in area on the basis on new stadium being built.

That was what they spent on players.

I think his tactics of the overlapping centre half was found out this season, nobody had seen such a tactic in premier last season. Only time I ever seen it was at love street with peter godfrey ploughing up the wing on the odd occasion and that was quite a sight, mind you campbell money taking penalties was quite another............

They're plenty involved behind the scenes "Windae Cleaner" and through McGills pay for loads of stuff including all the youth level teams (when Covid allows). There's very little they're not involved in down this way unfortunately.

I would assume they pay for stuff like youth teams through mc gills as a tax dodge for bus company. Having read up about owners and indeed some mc gills reviews it wouldn't surprise me.

Just watching Return to Dunblane, 25 years on, heart breaking when they read out the children's names and ages, 5 and 6 years old along with their teacher.

Not sure I'd ever get over that if it had been one of my children.

That was a tough watch, very tough.

Going down is not on the table this season no matter what the Elvis's of this world believe

We will finish as high 5th or 6th or probably drop as low as 9th if we don't get the result we need in the £375.000 Mega, Massive, Biggest of the season game against Hamilton..  No Pressure then as were not in a relegation battle :shutup

And there lies the problem, I really do think some love the season after season struggle for whatever reason and can't cope with a far more successful season.

Ok, the financial side isn't anywhere near the size of the EFL championship playoff final for the premier league place but for nearly all SPL clubs its huge so it that case I'd agree with the mega, etc description of game ahead.

If however things don't go right on day, there is the situation where we could consign broadfoot & co to the championship 🙂
