Judging by the news I'm hearing there is no buyer and we are on the slide big time. Some people fear we are going to end up like dunfermline
We'll all still be there for the team. Crap players, BOD and managers come and go but fans remain.

I don't know where my Shullist optimism is coming from but i'm going to give the team one more chance on Tuesday night. We have to get behind them and they have to scrap for the full 90 minutes. A win gives us a small glimmer of hope.

We can catch and overtake Motherwell.
As mental as that sounds it come down to us having to beat Well and hope they fail to beat PT next Saturday. If that happens then we can go in to the County game knowing that a win will put us back in with a shout. We MUST win on Tuesday...simple!

I think it needs something that drastic there is total apathy from top to bottom at the club right now. No ambition,no direction and no fight.

They took the cheap option twice the season and it's came back to bite them on the arse... Will they do the right thing and bring in an experienced manager to build for next season? i doubt it!

Well To be honest it is a win/win for him. He was asked to do the job, given the BOD recent record I dread to think who we'd have right now if he said no. If we stay up, for a guy with no experience, that would be a good job well done.

Gary Teale has the job till the end of the season. If he keeps us up then he's a hero and if not then we can only blame the BOD for not bringing in a more experienced manager.

If we lose tomorrow I'd say it's very likely we'll finish bottom. If we win it will put pressure on the other 2 teams and we're still in there.

Abso bull shite. How is it good were only one point worse off. We're now two games from safety. And our next two games st j away and Celtic at home. So could be almost relegated by the split if county pick up a couple of wins which they easily can do
Why Bullshite? Ok..... I'll explain.... Motherwell and Ross County could have won...quite easily... they weren't slaughtered in their games and we'd have been EVEN worse off...

Most defintely not! The BOD have taken the cheap option and threw GT in at the deep end. IMO he's not ready but nonetheless, he has a lot of TC's duds and hasn't had the advantage of a pre season. It remains to be seen whether GT will come good but don't ask the BOD to help!!

On the positive side we are only 1 point worse off after today's game because County drew. We need to hope that we can get it right soon and get a few wins to drag us out of this.

Think the OP is getting a lot of undeserved criticism on here!! Wasn't it in response to a set of positive results after another set of positive results for our 2 closest rivals!!??
As I see it, that doesn't mean Luther was slagging the team off or being ultra-negative. Sounds more like he was bemoaning the upturn in fortunes of Well & County, and the fact that we really didn't need to be in the position we're in, if the board hadn't made it such a wankmangle of a season!!
However, I don't speak for him, it's just how I interpreted his OP.
To be honest i expected County and Well to get results. It's what we do that counts from now on, if we lose more games than them we deserve to go down but i think we are a slightly better team than we were a few months ago. If Thommo can get the service he might still save our season.

I don't understand why a relegation thread was started after our first home win in 745 years! We have brought in some decent players and they will be starting to settle in now. Every game must be treated like a cup final and if we can get a result against Killie then the confidence will improve. Hopefully wee McGinn can get his form back as well to lessen the impact of losing Mclean. Season starts now, forget the pish we endured under Tommy Craig.
