The most obvious thing would be to elevate the stands just as Hamilton's main stand is. The view from 90% of the seats is poor. It should have been done during the construction of course.

Hmmmm. Maybe elevated a little more, but I don't like that Hamilton stand. I think it looks weird. Maybe it's just because it's out of kilter with the rest of the stands (sorry stand), but it looks crap to me. Think it's been elevated too much.

Think over the years quite alot of 11th v 12th matches have been scheduled first game after split then moved for tv so think there is a good chance we could play Dundee first game.

I'm expecting Hamilton not to be involved in the relegation battle but they might schedule them v Dundee first game also.

I’m expecting Hamilton to be very much involved in the relegation battle. In fact, I’m expecting them to get relegated. Probably by way of a play off.

Hopefully Celtic win today and have a giant f**king party! Them showing up hungover should make it more of an even match.

Muzek, Dreyer and Lyons on to the bench I reckon. Maybe Anton in for Baird too.

We have a decent chance of picking up a point or three at home here. I don't want to see any of this "anything against them is a bonus" pish. We should be able to compete.

Wait a minute Kemp. I’m right behind you on the score of not going into matches already beaten or with a defeatist attitude, but there in absolutely nothing wrong with saying any points gained will be a bonus. That is abolutely true. If we were.in the business of budgeting for points, this would not be a game where we’d be expecting any.

i hope for a smellic victory tomorrow and we stand a chance of a point on Wednesday

a rankgers victory .....and Wednesday could get messy

for the bottom 3 its all about the GD

Agree. If they spank the **** tomorrow they’ll go 13 points clear and hopefully might just take their eye off the ball a wee bit on Weds.  Here’s hoping anyway. Any points on Weds would obviously be a bonus, but we really don’t want to take a hammering (if that’s not stating the obvious a wee bit).

Dreadful footballer, no sence of how to play the game or where to be...to be fair to him i would say Lyons is worse...absolute excuse for a professional player...has done nothing since he came to club...

I always think it’s hilarious when people spell sense wrongly. Especially when they are using it in the context of accusing someone else of not having any sense.

I can assure you it was more than sack the board and "f*ck the SFA"

I'm a massive Scotland fan but that's the least supportive Scotland crowd I've ever seen. If it was a Xth minute protest against the SFA fair enough, but to boo them the whole game was f**king horrendous

Are you listening to this Herman? :D

    Was at the game in San Marino and have noticed a few issues;

    A - the support

Seem to enjoy being shite, love moaning about how shite we are - about 20 mins into the game the booing started, and didn't stop... just pure poison going towards every Scotland player. Best fans in the world my ar*e

    B - the team

Now that we've secured a playoff spot, we've got no realistic hope of winning the group anyway. Players feart that they will take a knock, especially on a plastic pitch or dodgy playing surface. Seemed to be no real plan, defenders moving out to play someone offside but the other one doesn't move etc

    C - the gaffer

Not sure if Alex McLeish has early forms of dementia , but seems to be losing the plot. Feel sorry for the guy but he seems to be struggling, especially watching his interviews. "We played well the first 20 mins in Kazakhstan", no Alex, we were 2-0 down. San Marino they were clear as day - playing out from the back, no instructions came to press them on it. The 2 fullbacks were able to sit in with zero pressure.

    D - the SFA

Most telling thing for me, they couldn't/wouldn't stump up the cash for Michael O'Neill. Northern Ireland pay a better salary than Scotland do. How much are the top guys at the SFA being paid? How much are fans paying for tickets? Need to strip it out and start again. Malky Mackay another disaster of an appointment. "Project Brave"

    100% agree with B, C & D.

On point A, are you suggesting that the fans don't have a right to voice their displeasure. The chants coming through on telly were clearly "f**k the SFA" and "Sack the Board" etc etc. And yes there was audible booing at half time, full time and on the odd occasion where San Marino made it into our final third.

Jesus Christ, one minute the fans are being accused of being a bunch of pishheids who don't give a f**k about the fitba and only go for the party, to now being accused of being nasty boo boys. I wish folk would make up their minds what they want.

I believe if any of the four nations mentioned qualify through their group, then they don’t take part in the playoff and will be replaced by Bulgaria. I think League A is the only one where the teams will remain the same as that’s for the actual trophy.

As for Scotland, people have short memories. Before the disaster in Kazakhstan we done the double over Albania (including a 4-0 away win) and beat Israel at home, thus securing top of the group and promotion to League B. We might not win big in San Marino but I think it’s silly some are suggesting Scotland will lose this one, our recent competitive results were decent enough before the Kazakh raping.

Yes that’s right re the format, although you can’t say Bulgaria will step up for sure, as they may qualify themselves of course. Essentially the final participants in the play off are unknown until after the qualifiers, unless; all 4 currently in situ fail to qualify through the groups.

On your second point, I agree with the short memories thing as the NL proved that we were capable of coming out on top in a group of our peers. However, there is no disguising or excusing how utterly horrific that result and more importantly performance was in Kazakhstan.

Don't we automatically qualify for the playoff due to the Nations Cup placing?

There is no play off from the group. It’s a straight top two qualify.

We are guaranteed our NL play off by virtue of winning our NL group, if we don’t qualify through the main qualifying group. One off home semi final against Finland, winner plays the the winner of the other semi between Serbia and Norway, probably at home but not decided yet.
