Is it just me or is anyone else confused why so many commentators, pundits and even ordinary punters seem hell bent on overcomplicating this Nations League thing and making the qualification process seem to be like rocket science?
It’s so straightforward it’s unbelievable. A feckin moron could understand it. What are they finding so difficult about it.
What’s more I think it’s a crackin idea and think it works a treat in dramatically reducing if not quite irradiating pointless friendlies.
The Nigels were going bonkers at their result today and that Switzerland Belgium game tonight was superb.

It was a smashing goal Ricky but it was absolutely nothing like as good as the Gascoigne goal.

As much as he’s been an excellent addition in steadying our defence, I’m still astonished that in Anton Ferdinand, we are playing a guy in the Scottish Premiership that can’t go up for corners because he isnae fit enough to run back. Bonkers!

As for my opinion of Thommo...
Adored him as a player.
When he he first started broadcasting I though he had a clear talent for it and would do well.
Now (in my opinion) he is fast joining the ranks of all the other self important, blowhard pundits and he is developing his wankword bingo vocabulary brilliantly. Throw in the ageing hipster look and it becomes even more irritating. On the basis of all of that, I continue to think he will be very successful in his chosen field.

He didn’t have a go at Thommo. He said he thought Thommo was out of order. That was his opinion. You suggested that must mean he thought anyone who disagreed with him was out of order. Which is of course bollocks. I don’t lnow the poster, but I’ll bet a pound to a penny he meant Thommo was out of order to use national TV as a forum to slag off a fellow pro who has no right of reply. I think it’s you that has missed the point.

Shull definitely has a problem with the difference between disagreeing with someone and not letting them have an opinion.
If he followed his own logic, that would basically mean that in disagreeing with just about every poster on here, in relation to just about every topic, he is in effect denying people the right to an opinion.
Which of course he isn’t. He’s just disagreeing with them. I think his rules only apply to other people.

In fairness I think the point he was making is that if there isn’t much between the two players, then he’d rather we developed our player instead of someone else’s.
Whether there’s not much difference between the two players is obviously a matter of opinion.
