The SNP vote crumbled at the council elections and the votes they lost went to the Tories.

    That is a FACT.

    Get over it nationalist extremists.

C'mon the Tories! Let's stop the hard Scexit planned by the E-Unionist extremists!

Looking at the team selections that season in the run-in, I would guess at Gordon Henry , Jackie Brown , Davie Laird ! The team stayed mostly the same at that period apart from 8 , 9 , 10 . Bobby Holmes and Tommy Gemmell were in and out the team too but I don't think they're in this pic !

The same Bobby Holmes that was physio 80s / 90s??

In all my days I never realised that Ally Mcleod played for Saints!!

Why would they consider temporary expansion to play a team only 6 places above them in the Scottish football ladder???

On the park - we may have been "disappointing" - But, we are still a "name" with a big support compared to the clubs East Fife usually have to cater for!

  5. The stadium can accommodate up to 1,980 spectators all of whom are seated in a single stand running along one side of the pitch. There are open areas for future expansion. In 2008 plans were announced to increase capacity with the erection of a covered terrace/stand at the sea end of the stadium. Due to the economic climate in 2009 these plans were put on hold.

The stadium's capacity was temporarily expanded to 4,700 for a Scottish League One match against Rangers in October 2013

So, would they consider temporary expansion for this tie??

Funnily enough, the Semi Final and Final Programmes from 1987 are easy and cheap to buy.

Unfortunately the Programmes against Caledonian, Morton and Raith Rovers are very rare and can cost a fortune to purchase.

Sometimes you can be lucky and pick one up on Ebay at a bargain price.

Pretty sure I've got the full set! ;-)

    (Was definitely at every round!)

PS Get a few regulars in the stocks and we could chuck water/rotten fruit etc at them for a £5 a go. Would wipe out the 1877 clubs debt in one afternoon if certain regulars on here were in the stocks.

WE already have a "Sinbin" !!!!!
