  1. 2 for MaGennis in minutes .....honestly all these guys who fail then amazingly find their form again.....there must be something wrong at our club ...it happens way way too often to be coincedence
  2. Remind me again which parties the guys on the left and right represent. These guys are in Government. If you're going to continue to defend their backtracking to deliver what they promised you're going to continue to look silly. I think there may have been more on this one too ?
  3. Yeah that would hold some truth if the Vow Parties hadn't actually promised dates with their vow hilariously naff St Andrews Day and Burns Night. Not unreasonable to expect something they were so "absolutely clear" on able to give "solemn vows" and "firm promises" Any one persuades me to do something using these arguments I'd expect them to be held to it.
  4. In today's City News £46 Billion wiped off leading UK shares (approximately double that 'catastrophic' September day) (although it was of course followed by that extraordinary day of rises the next day) Fear of uncertainty on Ebola they say this time. I'm sure Jackie Bird will be all over this in the lead story tonight and it's impact for Scotttish Companies given the size of this drop. Maybe they will if they can spin it into a story on ....Salmond & The Scottish Goverment should be doing more to combat this disease to protect and stabilise our economy.
  5. That was a shameful day for our media. TV and newspapers putting out massive scare stories and headlines citing values which were absolutely normal fluxuations in our markets ....in fact a smaller dip than many many days prior. By using the much more emotive Billions of pounds values rather than the normal daily "FTSE is up down 0.7% today" which most people unfamiliar with stocks and shares usually let wash over them every night they managed to portray an image of impending financial disaster. A full days screaming headlines and then absolutely no mention the following day that the exact same value had gone back on the market. "and the pound had dropped Oh my God the pound has dropped"....dropped from one of it's highest previous values in years...hardly unexpected then. That for me nailed just how desperate and baised our media had become to get the result they all wanted as opinion reached 50/50
  6. 2 Ponies ...that'd be a whole pile of shi.........oh yeah quite apt I suppose.
  7. Not a problem Tommy and the board have made sure we have depth aplenty on the bench. Be fielding Ridgers outfield against Celtic at this rate
  8. They only needed the back up because they had acted irresponsibly with the money they were in charge of making risky gambles with our money with the main purpose of hitting targets which would reward themselves with massive bonus payments. I would welcome banking with a few more restrictions on these greedy buggers and reckon I'd be much less likely to 'lose the lot' than under the get rich quick city gamblers we've had for the last few years.
  9. Mecca eh? The Tories will be pleased to see a mention for that.
  10. Well it's the Saudia Arabians I feel sorry for...all this good advice for Scotland and nobody is giving them a second thought when they are clearly nearing a crisis The proven oil reserves in Saudi Arabia are the second largest claimed in the world, estimated to be 267 billion barrels with past production amounting to 40% of the stated reserves. This leaves the unrecovered remaining oil at just under 150 billion barrels.* Production capacity stands at a figure of about 12.5million barrels per day. On this 150 billion barrels figure that works out at 12,000 days left or 32 years. (Should the attached footnotes be closer to the truth this figure would drop to somewhere near 13 years remaining) 32 years ! This is barely longer than estimates on Scotland’s North Sea Oil and it’s clear from the opinion of UK Politicians and Journalists that this declining resource is no safe basis for an economy. What are they planning to do when the oil runs out? Do they have tourist or whisky industries to fall back on? What will happen to investment in British Horse Racing? I'm very concerned for them *Assuming no drop for reason outlined by the 200 technical papers on Saudi reserves by the Society of Petroleum Engineers. These reached the conclusion that Saudi Arabia's oil production faces near term decline and that the Saudis may have irretrievably damaged their large oil fields by over-pumping salt water into the fields in an effort to maintain the fields' pressure and boost short term oil extraction *Plus assuming Diplomatic cables leaked during the United States in 2011 revealing that Sadad al Husseini, former vice president of Saudi Arabia's oil monopoly Saudi Aramco, warned the US that the oil reserves in Saudi Arabia might in fact be 40% lower than claimed (300bn barrels so perhaps starting reserves of 160 billion barrel)
  11. For me the logical step would be so say cheerio to the self interested current shisters....vote Yes then actively encourage and vote for those decent candidates who start to emerge in opposition to SNP and what's left of Scottish Labour when we have new National Elections.
  12. Jeez so short term.....You No people are always so keen on the long term and what happens 30 or 40 years from now when the oil runs out. What about 4 or 5 years down the line after people are fed up of Ed?
  13. Odd isn't it that even though No Campaigners Kathy Wiles and today Yvonne Hama have both been very publically chastised and told that their Nazi comparisons are completely unacceptable our B&W Army forum continues to consider the same quite acceptable ignoring post after post of similar comparisons despite repeated complaints. Are we really that low we have a different standard to the rest of the country?
  14. No ...no ...he's improved beyond all recognition ..future club captain..no need for another centre half Games like this will come back and kick us in the arse big time come the nitty gritty end of season ...switch on and compete from the off in these games or bugger off....we've had enough of half hearted efforts for 3 or 4 games ..we want professional footballers
  15. ....and that's that......2-0 down ...what a bunch of wait a minute....have we dodged one there? C'Mon show some fight for God's sake.
  16. Hit three in your Mirren strip Hit three Hit three Das ist gut! C'est fantastique
  17. ....Oooft rather you than me.....a few have tried.
  18. Saw a nice simple explanation of the why Salmond is right to avoid questions on a Plan B, C or whatever It’s like asking me how I’m getting to work “I’ll take the car” - But what if you can’t - but I can it’s the best option - but what if it’s broken and you can’t use it? What’s your plan B? I don’t need one I will take the car but I can take the other car, I could take one of three buses, I could take a taxi, I could walk” So which other method will you choose. I won’t I’ll take the car But what is your plan B? Well any one of a range of options So what transport will you use I’ll take the car But what if it’s broken and you can't But it isn’t What’s plan B? Well there are a range of options So how are you getting to work? I’ll take the car What if you can’t? But I can What’s plan B? Well there are a range of options but I’ll be taking the car !!!! You aren’t answering my question !!!! Why should he waste valuable time on options that just aren't going to be required just so his opponents can stall hours of time with petty arguments about bus routes, prices and convenience etc when he'll never actually need it.
  19. Absolutely sick and tired of politicians and in particular the No side who have had outright lies splashed over the front pages of newspapers without even a question asked or any sort of retraction made when contrary information is given. A yes will pose risk to organ transplants...honestly...what utter shite ! You get the impression that some one like Gordon Brown could say a Yes vote will lead to more people run over by buses and our papers would print it and if pressed there would be statistics trotted out to show that this financial support wouldn't be as great which could lead to less pedestrian crosing fitted and less lollypop men/ladies while ...blahh blahh shite shite shite .....they can spin virtually anything they bloody want and have it presented...it has become complete and utter nonsense and in such massive volumes so as to completely muddy the waters for anyone who can't filter it and pick out the vital facts.
