  1. Well , naw ye didnae Gary .  You said they were the only ones with pass marks - big difference .
I have to say, I only saw a total of about 20 mins or so due to the shitty Hesgoals feed but I thought some f**ker had switched mains Boots or tied his laces together !!
As for “trying” …… so did Alex Bone - doesn’t give a player automatic pass marks. I could pull the boots on and try ,I’d still be f**king hopeless !!!
This was a pre “Main love in” performance from him as far as i could see , let’s hope it was a blip in his “revival”
Bad day at the office , Hope a few arses were kicked and a few over inflated egos were put in their place , need to be at our best next week.

I'm not a big Main fan. Sorry I gave you that impression. Nobody gets pass marks for performance. But for effort I gave him and Gallagher a pass mark for effort. As bad as he is, he's still scored more league goals than Ayunga.

  2. I thought that the opening period of the game belonged to neither side. They scored and we opened up with the best opportunity falling to Main who had got into good position but delayed his shot. Summed up his day. I’m not sure that I agree with you on Ayunga who, to my mind battled on. I do agree thatGallagher was up for the game.
Your telling you thought Ayunga had a good game. He was was rank. One league he's scored this season. And that was a pen at Aberdeen when we were 3 down. He had a good game at Utd. But apart he's been poor. Normally only last an hour.

  3. Absolute dross performance. How Ayunga played for 90 mins is beyond anyone who was there. Apart from the keeper, only 2 pass marks. Gallagher and Main, and that idiot Robinson took Main off . Baccus, O,Hara and Ethan were woeful. Defending for the goals was shocking. 2 steps forward and 3 back. Not gonna mention Mr Stevens an absolute disgrace. Completely baffling. Ah well on to Tynecastle.

  4. Is there any news you can provide on Campbell’s departure?
I believe as well as stadium announcer Campbell was also the Club Ticket Office Manager.
Has Campbell move on to a better job elsewhere or was he made redundant? I would find it incredible if Campbell left of his own volition as he bleeds black and white. Top guy is Campbell.
If you can’t explain on here, if you can PM that would be appreciated.

Campbell has not left as announcer. He has left his job in the ticket office. He's just taking a break. He'll be back shortly.

  5. If anybody has any connection with Paul Lambert, please sound him out, he stated
he would be open to being interviewed about the well job so he may consider us.
Don't think another failed manager would be any good for us. Time for a young hungry manager like we had with Ross and Goodwin.

  6. I see the Robinson haters are spinning this as some sort of justification. We were excellent today and there is a nucleus of a very good team there, light years ahead of the LC performances. Bacchus looks superb and the defence strolled it. Yes we lost to a dodgy pen but that's far from the headline today. I'm far more reassured in Robinson than before ko

I don't hate him. Just don't want him as Saints manager.

  7. Hard to believe we lost that game. But it wasn't down to poor refereeing. And it's was really poor. But we lost due to poor striker's. Ayunga and Grieve missed absolute sitters. Kelly was superb in goal for Motherwell tbf. But if we can't score then all the good stats mean nothing. Everybody played well. Ethan our best player again. Should have won but poor finishing let us down.

  8. Looking forward to Sunday and our first League match. At home to Motherwell. A decent crowd should be in and last season there was little between both teams. Now we have the added spice of having Motherwell’s past manager in charge at Saints and a fair sprinkling of ex Motherwell players in our squad. What’s not to like? COYS
Hope your saying at 5pm on Sunday. Love to see us take the 3 points. But if we get one with this team we'll be lucky. 1.1.

  9. Well, I actually quite enjoyed watching that.

Obviously took the foot off the gas after scoring the third, and their goal, which may have been offside exposed shoddy defending but was well taken.

The only disappointment for me today was Reid, everyone else got at least pass marks from me.
Even Olusanya, who I think will become a player for us once he gets up to speed.

Standouts for me included Ayunga, Baccus, Offord, Strain and Taylor, when he came on.

I am well aware who the opposition were, and I’m not saying I’m suddenly optimistic about the season or anything, but I am definitely less pessimistic about our season opener against Well.

    COYS !!

  10. Good first half, poor second. Disappointing as the first half was a good platform to go and score a few.
The goal we lost was shocking schoolboy defending, ball watching as their boy came from deep and if they’d taken their chance to make it 3-2 it would’ve been squeaky bum time. We had chances too though.
Strain very good on the ball, but unless he got a knock he was struggling badly for fitness last 15. At least he got more miles in the tank.
Positives were we won, Ayunga,  Baccus looks excellent and a few young boys got a run out. Taylor and Offord made more of an impact than Reid, but a wee bit more experience for him.
Defence needs to switch on for the Well game or it will be a painful afternoon. Hopeful that Ayunga can grab us a few goals this season, preferably starting next weekend.

There goal was a yard offside. But guy took it well. We were pedestrian for 80% of the game. Only move of any note was Tait for the third goal. Fraser Taylor brightened things up, looks an exciting prospect. But haven't changed my mind, Robinson is clueless. Poor appointment.
