  1. Mullen works hard but he spends most of his time on his backside as he cannot keep his feet. He also doesn’t hold the ball well enough. Reminds me of Stewart Kean who was poor also. Steven McGinn is not playing well and looks slow maybe he is carrying a knock? Disappointing to lose today but there was signs we might be able to stay on touch

  2. When you see how Livingston are doing with a lesser budget you realise what a mess we are in. No goals in six top flight games and yes whilst I have hope I also will always be a realist and at present we are definitely favourites to go down in 12th. Can Kearney pull off some transfer window magic and offload the garbage he inherited whilst unearthing a gem or two? Maybe ! But at present we look like it will be us and not these other diddy teams we suggest that will take the plunge. I hope I am wrong as if you go down we know only to well how hard it is and the restructuring required.  Relegation to me would be v bad for this club and anyone who wants to swap Playing to good crowds to going back to 1200 at Palmerston can keep it

  3. Whilst the midfield is struggling the big problem is that we have absolutely nothing up front. Mullen will try his best every game but he won’t score the goals needed to stay up. Our team has no goal threat whatsoever and without that your generally in bother. Stubbs has to shoulder the total blame for this one .

  4. That was a day to forget. Players didn’t look interested. Went through the motions and gone was the fought and determination from last week. Make no mistake this Hamilton team will e in the bottom two and were nervous at the start yet we handed them a victory. It’s clear Stubbs has been absolutely hopeless in the transfer market and we will need a massive January to survive- yet it should also be said Mullen, Flynn and Kirkpatrick look like they are struggling to make the grade in Scotland’s top division. We need to cling on in there until January where it looks like another massive turnover of players will be the only thing that saves us. I listened to Tony Fitzpatrick two weeks ago say that we had a four year plan but jack Ross swept us up in 18 months and now we as a club are playing catch up? Sorry Tony but that is shit how are Livingston with 700 season ticket holders managing to do things we can frankly only dream of. The board must be holding their heads at allowing Stubbs to take a wrecking ball to our hopes. Hamilton also less than 1000 home fans yet the absolutely pump us. Yet we back the team with over 3.5 books sold and this is what we get. It’s not Oran’s fault but the board need to accept they are responsible for some of this too. Stubbs might be gone but the problems remain. Fingers crossed Oran has a bit of magic up hos sleeve . P. S I was v proud of our team last Friday night but today that was absolutely unacceptable

In fairness you do like to parade around the forum in your "ITK" clothes. It shouldnt surprise you that guys like norrie and IOBS, who have the combined intelligence of a wet sock, somehow believe you have magical powers.

I wouldn’t say a wet sock oaksoft it surprises me why you feel the need to go around spouting utter crap and just having a go at people. It lacks any sort of class and I really do question your intelligence. I am allowed an opinion and I again ask that you just enjoy the opinions and the offer something balanced . Thank you

    Not for me.

If GLS is going to pull the trigger get McIntyre in to try sort it out.

No to McIntyre please. I can’t believe that after facing Aberdeen, Hearts and Rangers we’re ready to sack our manager it’s ridiculous. I don’t see my many point points forthcoming but he has to be allowed a chance to take on teams at our end of the league before deciding. Once again how does JJ know all this info ? Can you tell us what you have heard JJ ?

  7. let’s not sack the manger yet. We need to allow time for the players to settle in and whilst it is horrible at present it would be very unfair to punt a manager imafter fpur league games. We have to allow him a chance at least. Give him till the October international break and if it’s not working fine .

Norrie.  They had money pumped into them by the owner of Mays Travel Company (The Barrhead Travel Company of their day)  to the tune of 15 million or more.

When was this ? 1995? My point is they like Motherwell are clubs of a simelar size yet they have not been outside the top league for years.

Maybe you better tell Mr Bowie..................

Billy Bowie is the owner and Managing Director of Billy Bowie Special Projects Limited based in Kilmarnock, not far from Rugby Park, but with extensive interests throughout the UK. The company provides a broad range of services and skills to local authorities and industry.

From its origins in 1991 with one vehicle, Billy Bowie Special Projects Limited has grown to own a modern fleet of over 150 specially equipped vehicles and employs over 70 staff locally at Moorfield Industrial Estate, Kilmarnock.

On his new role at the Club Billy had this to say:

At present, I am in the fortunate position that I can help the Club both financially and with my knowledge of the local community and I feel it's the right time to get behind the Club and its supporters. I hope that my involvement can help start a new chapter in the distinguished history of Scotland's oldest professional football club."

I don’t get ur point. Mine is that long before Bowie Kilmarnock returned to the top flight and have stayed there since 1993 when they beat us to promotion. That is success in Scottish football . They maybe now have a wealthy chairman but this was not the case for much of this time. I don’t see ur point mine is that we should strive to be a top flight club for twenty five years not a diddy club which is v much what we have become in this past two months.

Am I right in remembering that that is the year that the board let the season come to an end and then announced that they were not renewing Danny's contract.? Went for the cheap option in Craig and the rest followed as you mention.  I wasn't keen on Danny leaving,  nor Craig's appointment.  Thought Murray would do better but had little faith in Rae.  Am I wrong in thinking that each of those had an Old Firm connection... Either Celtic or Rangers.  Is this part of the reason they found both success and winning over the fans so difficult?  I respect your position Norrie and you may well be right but I enjoyed the Championship and  hope to enjoy us playing different opposition and they'll players in Scotland.  After that,  I hope we doing and stay up,  then move on and consolidate.  If not.. Then I will enjoy the Championship.  My take.

Ricky fair play like yourself I go to every game home and away and we go because we love the club. Stubbs will be gone someday and maybe in another 20 years we will have a tom hendrie or jack Ross season to celebrate once more. I’d prefer to have a long run in the premier like Killie have enjoyed. That is actual success on a budget that won’t be huge.

Yes Norrie. This forum is my ENTIRE life. My God, you have punctured the bubble of my pomposity and struck right at the heart of my problem. How could I have been such a fool not to have seen it before.

I can’t believe the difference since May. It would have been incredible to think we would end up here so quickly.

For me this is pure and simple down to coaching/management style. Craig, Rae and Murray couldn’t crack the formula of getting players to give their all. Jack did and he built an incredible spirit.

His approach was to engage, encourage and even consult the players on how they go forward together. Stubbs has the approach of old days e.g. players are there to be told what to do.

His tactics and signings are clearly an issue but I still think he has to be given more time - he’s on the hook now, he’s had resources and backing and he’s brought in players who have limited playing time and he’s unbalanced the squad capabilities. Given endless time maybe it would work but that’s something we can’t give him.

If your one of the players from last season your simply not enjoying your work as much and it shows. He needs to get them onside and supporting the other players very quickly. In short he needs to change his style to get the best out of the team. I’d like to see him out on the touch line encouraging and guiding the less experienced lads tomorrow because it will be very tough.

Jack didn’t have it easy initially and he said himself that one good result gave him something to build on. I think we are 2-3 wks away from that happening.

Hamilton away represents a chance to get a point the rest we will not get much of anything

The only option is to be positive.

Accies, Livi and Dundee are also shite. Maybe big Cole will prove himself to be a star, Heaton will come back from injury much better, Hodson will take some growth pills, Brock-Madsen will score loads...

The same Livingston that we couldn’t land a shot on their goal? Aye that one ?? Honestly some people are only able to see things thro the black and white specs. The teams v poor and we lost to a side with half our budget. That’ll do

There's the lack of perspective I am talking about.

11 other teams, most of whom have more money to sped on better players believe the same thing. I know that is inconvenient but it's the truth.

It's almost as though you don't know how professional sport works.

There is a difference between being disappointed at being relegated and feeling like ending your life over it.

    Perspective.

At what point did I seem like it was life or death ? I watch the team and hope they do well. That’s it for me . I do feel disappointed with what we have at present tho because it’s v poor and it didn’t have to be. I think everyone on here at present feels the same way. I haven’t really been on a lot but it is good to see your still around oaksoft . Seems you spend quite a bit of time on here. Which suggests this is your life . Have a nice night and support the boys tomorrow... no doubt you’ll be there
