I'm saying those boy's have to go through alot to do stuff why should they bother giving up there time and money if it's looking like one step forward two steps backwards.

Gordon said in his statement that they did not give permission to that banner as it never supported the club, team or management, so why was the jack Ross banner took off them last season a banner that was supporting our manager at the time .

Was it cleared by the club?

    Was it to big?

Was it made of non combustible material?

Did it clear all the health & safety rules that are no doubt on the books these days?

Personally, I admire W7 for the time and effort, and money,  they put into what is created.

But I don't agree with every banner.

    Work with the club.

  2. If folks want to display a message, all they have to do is have 16 T-shirts each one printed with a different letter from "notfanscriminals" and then 16 of them could wear the T-shirts.

Although it might take them the 90 minutes to get in the right order.

The added bonus being if the game is boring they can play Countdown.

Add an additional "n" and "y" and you could have hours of fun.

If the displaying of football related banners is not under question, then surely, if I wanted to, I could hold up a ‘Stubbs Out’ card or banner fron my W3 seat, every bit as much as I could hold up one saying ‘Give Stubbsy More Time’. The W7 crew, as some sort of loose collective, fans group, singing section, or whatever they are, as a condition of them being allowed to congregate there, would require permission.

I am, however, merely an individual supporter. So would my ‘negative’ card have been confiscated, and any ‘positive’ one let go, should a director spot them from the main stand?

If my banner said ‘Get to f**k Stubbs, you Scouse caaant, and take that weasel Jackson with you’, then fine, here come the stewards, but something of a non-offensive nature?

Part of the St. Mirren policies reads..........

"the size of flags/banners anything above 8ft by 4 ft should be referred to the club."

You would need awfy long arms to hold that up by yourself.

    Suggestion:

1  Not a SMISA member involved in the buy out... No badge.

2 A Privileges Qualifying Member - Gold Badge

3 A buy out Member - Silver Badge.

That leaves room for bringing in

1 Platinum Member - Platinum badge for One Off Donations over 5k

2 Bronze Member - Donations under 10 pounds a month

3 Tin Member -Tin Badges sold to Fans in return for a 25 pounds donation

    Number 1 should be..................................

A feckin solid gold badge for everyone of us who attended every game and allowed Mr. Stubbs to make us feel as though we were being poked up the cuffer.

I'll pass your name on, although only got Tam..................surname please?

I remember, in the early 70s,  sharing a billet with a group of young police officers, army officers, and naval officers.

After a few days we were all on first name terms.

One night, after lights out, when we were almost all asleep, 2 guys from the east coast of Scotland were chatting and finishing almost each line of conversation with "ye ken" or "ah ken".

An English voice peeps up, "Who the f**k is Ken?"

    Very funny.

    You had to be there.
