    A good question.

Whenever I see him he can't make up his mind whether he wants to be very black or very white.

Make up your mind zebra boy!

As a third shirt - holiday and pub use only - black is a lovely colour.

As a shirt used in competitive matches, it is maybe not so good.  Instant identification of where your team-mates are, general appreciation of the shape of your team and its movements are probably better served by something noticeable, eye-catching and distinct.

Such as strong Black and White stripes...

But Antrin, but Antrin, how does that explain the Heart's player's pish poor pass straight to Wallace enabling him to delicately lump it up the park for Obika for that wonderful goal that put the jam tarts at the bottom of the league?

Could it be because Wallace was wearing black & white stripes he only saw hauf o' him?

In Switzerland, the excess mortality due to Covid19 is apparently still zero.

I cannot believe anyone thinks there is a shred of truth in any figures issued by the Chinese authorities. The situation in Italy proves they have been talking utter shite since day 1. Folk will only start to realise the true extent when we reach the levels Italy are experiencing and there is no reason to think they won't. The government are constantly telling us it's going to be that way, our measures are simply to flatten the curve in comparison to Italy. We should prepare for a long and worsening haul here.

Why not read the World Health Organisation 40 page report.

China’s method of tackling the virus has been completely different from Italy.

    That’s what makes the difference.

  6. The Scottish Government's decision on curtailing crowds over 500 is nothing to do with the potential risks of the virus spreading.
    1) Quote from the BBC online news reporting First Minister's Questions today (Thursday 12th March) in the Scottish Parliament.
During First Minister's Questions on Thursday, Ms Sturgeon said the scientific advice suggested that cancelling mass gatherings
"will not in itself have a significant impact on reducing the spread of the virus".

    2) The First Minister's reasoning for the move is, and I quote,
"Mass gatherings require to be policed, they require to have emergency ambulance cover, they require the services of voluntary health services.

At a time when we need to be reducing the pressures on these frontline workers - in order to free them up to focus on the significant challenge that lies ahead - I do think it's inappropriate that we continue as normal."

    Aye wait a minute...

Ricky likes telling everyone he goes to games. “Faraway” doesn’t go to many games. So this helps Ricky with ammunition to beef up the “I go to games, everyone should try it” while running along with this “Faraway” user to help prove his points.

    Ricky’s been rumbled!

If Faraway was real he’d have called himself “Arbroath Saint” to be more specific. Most of us other faraways have all helpfully declared our locations.

    Clear and obvious now!

Maybe the “Faraway” is not about location but about his state of mind.

Like when yer mammy used to respond to you when you told her about a peculiar person who lived in your neighbourhood,

”Aye son, he’s away wi’ fairies”

  9. An excellent article Antrin.

And the poor dug used to support the Buddies, but we barred folk bringing in their dugs.

    Cue the usual sexist comment,

I've seen quite a few dugs at St. Mirren Park.

Indeed, Yardley (the dug) looks far more learned than all of the other supporters.

    I hope you enjoyed saturday.

Bizzare someone would research and write on a subject they know nothing about.

You have obviously not heard any of the Conservative  party's  attempts at their conference to solve the Irish border question.

Disappointed. The guy next to me said you can now get a concession ticket. Unfortunately I cant as I am 60 not 65 so only home games for me. Padded seat. When I went to purchase the first season ticket for the new stadium there were a couple of criteria. Having listened to adults throwing foul language at the top of their voice in the Northbank I decided the westbank was not for me. Going by the apologies by the commenter doing the games  for st Mirren tv over language I did the right thing to move stands. So a seat in the new main stand was for me. Next was where to sit. Personally the half way line has always been my preferred viewing position. As far back as can be as I like looking down on the game. This meant a padded seat. Would I have purchased the seat if not padded of course it's a seat for 90min.

Why would you bring up a padded seat ?
