We’ve had 2 free agents training with us this week and 1 of them could be signing today
I’m surprised one of our in the know fans hasn’t already posted this
Any idea who or what position?
Also bbc suggests we want to speak to Lennon (Neil - not Danny).
-
SR interviewing/speaking to Aberdeen.
Fair enough if he leaves end of season. If he left now…. Dreadful

Saints to beat Dundee utd in the final. 1987 re-run lol
However a win Sunday and a semi (final..) to look forward to could change our season and lift the confidence and spirits
-
Both goals were our doing today. Our own worst enemy.
I thought we had enough to avoid the play off. Not anymore.

It's so bad I turn it off as soon as we lose a goal because 99% of the time it's game over .Silver lining is will be a return of the Derby next season.
That really isn’t a silver lining and don’t pretend it is. We should be hoping we can turn it round and pick up results and strengthen and improve for next season.
I get your position on this I.e a goal and we look done but relegation, less money and a Lowe standard isn’t a ‘silver lining’

I think SR will chuck it before he’d ever get sacked. The latter I cannot see any time soon.
However - it is a very very concerning period for us.
The hard part is teams do not need to work hard to beat us. Hibs barely made effort and did. Motherwell and Falkirk too.
I can’t remember the last time a stoker scored in a league game.

It’s almost impossible to watch St Mirren now.
It’s soo predictable, defence gets ball, knocks it to a striker (bypassing midfield) and the strikers loose it. We don’t win the second ball and suddenly on the defensive.
No plan b. No dig about us and no creativity at all!
Thank f**k for Livi and will be interested to see our dress rehearsal v Partick.
I have to be this negative but we are absolutely dire.

Was that a bit of disruption during the min silence? Disappointing if so.

Despite some good football we play, it’s going to be a struggle this season as we have, yet again, nothing up front. Starting Ayunga on a regular basis is disastrous and any goals will have to come from midfield or defenders. Hoping against hope for improvement but doubtful.
The other issue is our midfield don’t look up to scoring either.
I assume Calvin and Dijksteel aren’t up to much? Anyone know if they have been injured?
Mooney not even getting a look in either. over all - it’s not looking good.
-
Good win in the end, though what a tense final few mins.
3 points and that’s all that matters!

Saw the club statement on damage to stadium due to flooding, can’t imagine it was the weather?
interested to see the extent of the issue

Truly farcical decisions from all the officials including VAR . 🥴
We did say if pre kick off and bloody hell did he live up to it.

Kiltie, Tanser & O'Hara for me tonight. Possibly only downside, the goalkeeper. how'd he not save the header?
Been a weak link for a while now I’m afraid. Cross balls into the box are a real concern.
-
What a strange game. First half we were soo far off it. Second half, totally deserved the win.
Can we talk about the referee performance? Farcical, embarrassing and below professional standards doesn’t even begin to explain it. Start to finish. Winning the game and that being the stand out point is how bad it really is. Yet nothing gets done about it! Media don’t talk about it. Managers can’t talk about it. Any other profession it just wouldn’t stand!
-
Hope this game can see us turn a big corner. Win, and I’m sure we will. However - if we don’t, it’s gonna blow confidence .

Where has that effort been recently? Much better.
Keep that level of commitment and we will be fine. 😎
ditching 433 and going back to last seasons shape made a real difference

Didn’t see the game. Watched the highlights - how their second goal stood is beyond me & Tansers sending off…. Well…. It’s enough to make you want to chuck watching the game tbh
-
Good to get a win and good to see hearts in full implosion mode.
satisfying!

Pretty concerning stuff this season so far.
keeper is a liability at cross balls (thought a good shot stopper).
defence - Gogic looks nervy and not a lot of cover in this area.
middle of the park leaving gaps and always slow/turning back.
aside from Olaysanya up top - we are poor.
Other teams have improved - I dare say we’ve went backwards

No belief in this team today. Celtic will stroll to the title this season but we need to be better at the basics. Definitely need a striker as Toya can't do it all himself.
Season starts again next weekend.
I agree - need to look at next week as a ‘this is where the league starts’ because the upcoming games are against teams we can compete with and should do anyway.
Got to agree re: Mandron and Ayunga not at the right level.

You say we’ll lose every game. You aren’t predicting anything, you’re just calling heads every match.
He is usually mr negative but the performances against Utd, Aberdeen and today (yes there’s a gulf) would indicate we are not in good form and we need a serious turn around inform to compete for top 6.
not winning second balls, leaving gaps in the middle of the pitch in front of your own box weekly and not learning from it is not good. Add to that we rely on Olusanya getting us out of holes is just not good enough at this level.

Dont know why any teams bother playing these cunts you get f**k all of of the refs .
He’s dying to find a penalty. It’s actually embarrassing.
We have not won a second ball. Ayunga is soo far off the pace it’s frightening. We aren’t very good at all tbh

Today was, for me, the most disappointing of the last three games.
Nothing between us and Aberdeen and we, at least, put up a decent performance in Norway.
Today, never really got going, in and out, at best and lost a poor goal.
Agree with this tbh FS!
the keeper was very very poor with cross balls & middle of the pitch was AWOL. Smyth just doesn’t cut it for me, I hope I’m wrong but I don’t see a player there yet.
Does anyone know how long O’Hara, Andernian, Kiltie and Munce will be out? 2 of them back would be huge!

No much to say that hasn’t been said!
is Urminsky also injured? Goalkeeping situation could be critical for us over the coming weeks
