  1. Bottom of the league after 7 games. The league table should not be looked at until teams have played each other atleast once, maybe even twice.

Getting knocked out of the cup to Ross County away from home is no shame. Did you forget they went to the Scottish Cup Final last year beating Celtic and Hibs on the way?

I'd like to see your proof that this is the worst start to the season in 20 years, but its not about how the season starts, its more about how it ends, and the last few seasons with Gus as manager has meant the season ends with a poor run of form and scraping through survival.

The football is not more negative than the previous manager, we have only failed to score against Celtic this season.

The comment about scouting contacts is ridiculous. Gus MacPherson constantly signed players who were injury prone or players who were has beens and sometimes players who were both!

Another ridiculous comment about youth players. Atleast DL puts them on the bench, MacPherson's decision to only name 5 subs at times last season instead of putting youngsters on the bench was another example of him generally being a wee shite.

    Brilliant post Bud!

Bad luck and stupid individual error cost us on Saturday.

We were pish 1st half but played very well in the 2nd.

And at least we are scoring goals... ross county are a decent mob and as you say there is no shame in being put out by them!! Didnt the green biggots get played off the park by them at Hampden.

Being bottom of the league just now means nothing!!! If we are there in January then you can worry.

  2. Got to say that I find the amount of 'pro MacPherson anti Lennon' or 'pro Lennon anti MacPherson' posts to be just about the most pointless and irrelevant bullshit on both of the main St Mirren forums just now. How about just being pro St Mirren and recognising Gus MacPherson's achievements in delivering relative success, while wishing Danny Lennon all the best now that he's got the gig? Feck' me, might as well compare Danny Lennon to Tom Hendrie or Rikki MacFarlane for all the fcuking good it's going to do.

    :D

    Well Bloody Said......

Gary Blues, Silent Majority - Whatever.... get over it man!

Give it a chance, if it aint working come xams, then we can review it and see wither its time to shout for heids!

  3. Its madness that people are calling for Lennons head already! We need to give him time to get his full sguad on the park and change the way we play. At the moment most of our mistakes are coming from individual error, so its not all Lennons fault. Although i do admit alot of his signings dont look to be good enough.

He needs to be give time though. If we're bottom by a few points with about 6 or 7 games to go, id sack him then and try and get some experienced head in for the last few games.

But until then we need to back him and get behind him!!

That would be the worst time to do it IMO....

However, I agree with your original statement in that it is mental folk are calling for his head already he needs time to build his squad and find the system that suits etc.

  4. You havin' a laugh - or has it been a while -- food not great, and bar very dear -- wouldnt get into top 5 places in Inverclyde....

Curry -- Priyas Palace Greenock (alltho' Mother India's Cafe for tapas style curry is brill)

Italian -- Think place called Casa roma - out in south side somewhere (i can get by car, honest)

    Thai Fountain in Glasgow

Fox and Hounds in HOuston is good (wee bit pricey but good)

I'm only doing 4 --- cos any other options would be Indian or Italian

    Feck -- i'm hungry now

2007/8 since was lat there... And was Good :-)

  5. Braidwoods - Farmhouse just outside Dalry holding a Michelin star. Don't think I have eaten nosh this good for such a reasonable price anywhere. They must also pick the wines carefully as I have yet to taste a bad one yet, wines starting at 12 pounds. Needs to be booked well in advance which tells it's own story

Mar Hall Restaurant - Bishopton. This one is for special occasions very nice food within this five star resort.

Mother India - Glasgow. Indian food at it's best. The only thing I don't like is you feel you have to hurry up so they can get the next guests in.

The Buttery - Glasgow this restaurant with an icon name. When I was training as a chef back in the 70's this was the place. Now under the stewardship of two fat ladies who are keeping the good name up. Beautiful decor is worth a mention

Inver Cottage - Sits on the banks of Loch fyne with stunning views in the middle of nowhere. Food is superb and one of the few places I have been where I wanted to try everything on the menu.

Canny mans, up the Braes somwhere - Just a nice wee place where you can go for a decent meal in a nice relaxed atmosphere. Great service. Generous prices.

The Caffe Continental, Gourock - Nothing too fancy but just a good wee place where the resteraunt overlooks the water, the service is great and there is a decent bar too.

Di Maggio's, City Centre - Again, decent prices and good food.

I know it's a chain.... but Chiquito's, love it!!! Love mexican food, one at xscape and key!!

Mirage in paisley, great Indian food!!!! Buffet is a bargain!

    Human Wheels - John Mellencamp

    Fire garden - Sevie Vai

    Sabotage - Black Sabbath

Yea, dont sign up for "free Porn -sign up here"....... A friend told me a few years back, he learned the Hard way..... :whistle

  9. Not sure if this has happened to anyone else but Im certainly getting pissed off with it. I even tried google to find a way to speak to MSN about it either by email or one of these live chat help desk things.

My problem is that my MSN Hotmail is getting about 200 mail in my inbox today with are delivery notice failures - which means that my hotmail is sending mail to people unauthorised. I thought it was sending it to my address book contacts but it seems to send about 2 mail each day to every different contact I have ever mailed from my account (say 2x200/400) and this is the failure notices Im getting.

I even got a cheeky mail back from an old old buddy of mine saying did I wanna stop sending him shite, offering viagra and double glazing windows etc .... Thing is I cant seem top find a solution of the best way to go about getting a solution without losing my email address.....

    Anyone help ?

    Aye mate,

I have been getting these emails from you for quite a while..... One every few days or so.
