Gavin Duncan is the Referee on Saturday.
That ref on Saturday past was pretty poor for both sides. Hope this weekend the ref lets the game flow more.

I'll be watching on saints TV from sunny Arran! They will be on a high. Lets get this season started this weekend.

Strips look smashing. Was hoping to buy one for my kid…. Looks like we are in for a wait 🤣

Used to love a Saturday venture into Provans, back in the 90s/early 2000s, used to find some cracking retro saints tops!

Think he has the ability McAllister but no confidence and has no heart whatsoever. Absolute pussy of a player..
He has the ability but confidence as you say is an issue and doesn’t always seem to give it 100%. In truth, I don’t see him becoming a regular starter for us due to the above.

And delivered very little. He was signed on a 3 year deal. I’d imagine he is one of our highest earners. Disappointing return on investment.
From what I understand, he’s amongst the highest earners. At least he was when he signed. I base this on him and his family being friends of a friend.
I still think he offers something - just not consistent enough, which is the issue.
Nice to see the young lad getting a start. The academy system has delivered a few gems over the years. Let’s hope he’s another...

Erwin to be a (very) unlikely match winner on Wednesday ?
Stranger things have happened ...I don’t rate him but his performance at Well was his best for us. Even with a depleted squad I reckon we can win this.
I agree with most, an ugly and tasty affair. Just hope to leave with points and Importantly - no more injuries.
-
For me, we drew too many winnable games...

Know what, fair enough to St J, they have done what we couldn’t - done the job.
im not gonna be bitter, just scunnered and disappointed it’s not us.
We need to atleast see the season out positively. Maybe make a stab at the cup.

Help!
Question for a friend 😬my friend has IPTV and the only Scottish team channel that isn’t on his/her iptv is Hamilton tv.
Will this ‘friend’ be able to view the today’s game on saints Tv via IPTv?

Well most TV and Radio pundits don't think we will get top six I'm with them .
Yea I’ve heard this all week. Seems they expect us to fall today and for the Fakes to leapfrog us.
Leyte hope we can prove them all wrong. -
Watched JG’s pre match interview. I wonder if at the end of the season he could be touted for ‘a bigger’ job. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up at the dons.... maybe worth a punt.

We will (not) do it 'the St Mirren way' - we will draw with Hamilton and St Johnstone will scrape a narrow victory over Ross County which will be enough to push us out of 6th place on goal difference.
I’ll certainly have an eye on the St J game as well as our own!

Will Kristian Dennis be available?
The team we played against Celtic would be the ideal team for this game. Lots of pace.
If KD is not fit, then Quaner up front would be my option.
It’s in our hands COYS

Soft soft pen! But I’ll take the win.

To my eyes we tried four strikers today and Lee Erwin performed best!
I agree... and to be honest, I wrote him off. Still not convinced - however - plaudits for his performance Today!

I will never criticise individual players.... but I do get your point !
From what I've seen so far of him he would struggle to hold down a place in a good amateur team.. in a word he's pish...
But you'll never hear me saying it in public
He’s actually won a lot of balls today and looked ok. But still doesn’t look like scoring which is a pity!

If we are to win this game, big IF, I reckon we'll need to score at least 2. So it's time for Obika and Erwin if he gets on. another big IF. to step up and be counted
County will be coming here looking for the win and will fancy it, they won't come here looking to nip a point after beating Celtic,
Can see a open game and we should get our chances so no excuses, plus any half decent striker shouldn't just need goals laid on plate for him to score, he should also be capable of making opportunities for himself.
I’ve seen nothing from Erwin to suggest he’s gonnae start scoring, I’m afraid. His touch is awful & seems a yard off pace on every game.

We played the current champions, narrowly lost and they have 50x our budget.
equally, this game could be the one we go on another run?
granted injuries aren’t great, but I’m not reading too much into Sunday.
