Shankland, unluckily IMO, dropped.
Not an easy task against the Dutch, much better to have played tonight.
-
Fancy a comfortable win tonight.

Your lack of any sort of awareness is stunning.
.As usual you NEVER mention any of his previous wins or how well he plays.
The same brainless views you post on St Mirren.
Nip over to P&B and share your opinions..................they also had a high opinion of you.
Andy Murray has revealed that he suffered a 'full rupture' of an ankle ligament during his defeat in the Miami Open on Sunday.
The British legend fell to a 5-7, 7-5, 7-6 loss against Tomas Machac in the competition's round of 32 before later taking to social media to confirm the news.
In a post on Instagram, Murray wrote: 'Yesterday towards the end of my match in Miami I suffered a full rupture of my ATFL and near full thickness rupture of my CFL

It seems that the supporters who are turning up in bigger numbers that many a year are quite comfortable with the "beautiful game" and there's an element that will find anything to whine about come what may.
If it wasn't VAR it would be referees........................oh wait.

Dunfermline have been very good but Dundee United have been poor. Last ten minutes United came into it a bit more but have a lot of work to do to pull this back .Decent game though. Goodwin could be under pressure if they lose. No way they would get rid of him before the end of the season but no guarantees even if they get promoted he will be in charge next season.
When you posted this I didn't think there was a chance Goodwin's position was in doubt but after reading the Dundee Utd supporters views since then you might not be faraway.
This weekends gamer is MASSIVE for United and Raith.

Thanks for your input. 🤣🤣🤣

Be fair, he was pretty close to recovering the situation. Whatever faults he has (or ever had), I don't think bottling it was ever one of them.
There's absolutely no point in trying to reason with him as he's simply a waste of oxygen.

I believe Aberdeen are still in contention, mathematically at least. However, from our perspective we only have to worry about Hibs and Dundee catching us.

Good win last night for Andy against Etcheverry.
I thought he played really well, looked more like his old self.
Cam Norrie also through, although he had a bit of a struggle in the middle of the match.
It's funny, no matter how well Norrie does he doesn't do it for me.
Can't really pinpoint what it is but I just find him dull, as a player and as a person.
Anyhow, Murray due on closer to 6pm tonight.

You are correct that he was not ranked 10 six months ago. I misread the BBC article:
Andy Murray: Briton suggests he may only have few months left of career - BBC Sport
Big victory for Shapavalov, maybe coming back to the form he had a few years ago.

I didn't actually know who was responsible, so I generalised and didn't point the finger at anybody!
You pointed the finger at "some posters" which I corrected.
No need to thank me.

I believe we were able to edit posts we'd created at one time, but then it was stopped as Shull was abusing it...
Sorted, best to stick to the facts when pointing the finger.

Just watched a short, 15 min, round up of Murrays win and it was good to see him moving well.
He won umpteen points from just getting to drop shots.
Really needs a win in this next match, not sure if he's won two on the bounce this year.
This is more like it, a good win against a player he lost to fairly recently, and in straight sets. (Look at the score in the tie break)
Next up an unseeded player who, dare I say it, Murray has a great chance to beat and move into the last 16. (Maybe not quite a great chance, this guy beat Rublev in the last round)
The bookies, what do they know, have Machac favourite, just.

Also if you’re up to a bit of rumpy pumpy you’re better nearer ground level or the whole site will know what you’re up to 👍🏼

Good stuff, hope you enjoy it and the dogs give you peace overnight 😄
On the 3 or 4 wee day trips we've had the dogs, especially the wee dog, have really settled well.
They love looking out the window and rarely make any noise.
As we get more confident they will get to see plenty of new places, beaches, wooded ares and more exercise with two walks, weather permitting, a day.
Already pencilled in a cracking site in Fort William although there are hundreds to choose from in Scotland alone.
PS They will be sleeping on the other single seating area, not on the floor as that's a trip hazard.

Koeman saw the game as most, they got out of jail so no need for any gloom or doom for the Scottish support.
Koeman joked: "Maybe in the end, but not before the end. Yes they were maybe a little bit tight in the last 10-15 minutes and we got more space, and we know we can create good chances and score. During one hour the Scottish team was the better team and created more chance to score. It was unbelievable they didn't score because they had some really good chances."

Where are you going? 🚐
A wee site just at Forfar.
It;s got a restaurant on site so we'll use that on the Saturday night,
Not far, as I said, but this gives a chance to trial the whole experience before going further afield for the next trip.
If it all goes wrong I can be home in under 30 mins.

Our first overnight trip is not that far away, a week this Friday and the motorhome is starting to look like ours.
Mrs Faraway has been busy buying stuff for the last few month and after the final minor issues being taken care of by the company we purchased it from it's now all go.
Not going too faraway for our first trip but it'll give us a chance to fully use all the facilities that the van has to offer.
Looking forward to settling in, nice and cosy, few drinks and listening to some music as we relax with the dogs.
Almost all set for next weekend.
Filled up the water tank today and added some cleaning stuff.
Drain it out tomorrow and flush out again then we're all go.
The overhead bed, as much as I fancy it, could be dodgy during the night getting down, especially after a sherry or two so safer to make up the bed in the seating area.

The death toll, unsurprisingly when you see the footage, continues to rise.
Last I read 115 innocents had lost their lives.
Putin continues to be Putin and try's to deflect the blame onto Ukraine.
Pity they didn't shoot him, do the world a favour.

Shortroads from the 1990's, as I remember it.
Alas, like many parts of the town, unrecognisable now.

The stats confirm that there was nothing in the general play, wasted chances and a clinical Dutch side saw us take another beating.
That's 4 defeats from the last 6, with 2 draws.
The 4 defeats have all been against teams in the top 10 of the world rankings.
Need a win on Tuesday against N Ireland to get us back on course and build up the confidence.
After Tuesdays game there are only another 2 games before Germany, away to Gibraltar and at home to Finland.
3 wins from these games will put give the support more belief before Friday 14th June.

Bore off!
Anyhow, plenty of possession but next to nothing to show for it.
All a bit too slow/predictable and NIreland are quite happy sitting deep.
