Dump them out the League and distribute the points! An embarrassment to the League.
Think it'll be a fine looking at the punishment dished out to Motherwell in years gone by.

Dundee v Rangers off again.
What a shambles.
Looking like Dundee could be hit with a hefty fine for failing to invest/maintain their pitch.
While I'm well aware the amount of rain has been excessive in this area it seems they have focused on the players rather than the pitch and protecting it from the elements.

Arsenal v Bayern or Real Madrid v Man City, two massive games tonight.
Still undecided what game to watch.
Fancy both English teams to win.
No quite how I saw it but game on for the return games next Wednesday.

Real 3-3 City, my oh my, what a game of football.
79 mins.
3-3 final score.
What a game, superb goals and, again, a brilliant performance from the referee who never allowed any hard tackles to become "fouls".
Brilliant fitba.

Real 2-3 City, oh my, another superb strike by probably one of the last players you'd have thought would have scored, Gvardiol.

What a game the referee is having in the Real game.
he's ignored half a dozen good tackles and let play go on.
Still 2-1.

Real 0-1 City, what a strike in the 2nd minute, caught the Madrid defence sleeping after a brutal tackle on Grealish.
Picked the right game.

Absolutely. Both on and off the park.
Anyone who would have Goodwin in charge rather than Robinson is a complete buffoon.

It is hard to believe that Liverpool are behind, first half it could have been double figures.
Just said something similar to a disinterested Mrs Faraway.
Salah especially seems to have the wrong boots on the wrong foot.

He wasn’t without his issues but I was baffled by the hard time he got from some fans.
He got a really strong response out of the players he had, be that defensive or not. Him and Robbo (to me) seem quite similar in their ethos here. As in, you can only get what you can get out of the players you have. Sometimes it won’t be attractive, flowing football & it’ll be a slog.
Granted, neither have taken that as far as the Gus years & the infamous ‘go to the cinema’ quote. But they both accept you can’t always try & pass like Real Madrid, when you happen to be St Mirren.
Ok, decent post so we'll leave it at that.
Oh, I certainly don't enjoy the level of abuse our mangers get, a key reason I stopped attending home games after the abuse Lennon was getting, aye, some of our support do think we should be Real Madrid.

Yep, fair enough I’m thinking it was one place higher in each case. Still season on season improvement. Can only go on what you can regarding Covid & we were 9th. Up from a relegation play off the previous year.
Didn’t work out for him at Aberdeen, as it hasn’t for several Aberdeen managers in a row since McInnes.
You can be critical of Goodwin all you want, you’re factually being critical of someone that took over a team who survived relegation on penalties, and left them in the top six after two and a half seasons.
What other St Mirren manager got us as high as a seventh place finish in the 30 seasons before Goodwin? 🤷♂️
Do you accept, purely on league finish, he was our most successful manager for a generation?
Ok, now we've calmed down a bit, I was, and still am, of the opinion Goodwin was/is limited as a manager.
He had a very up and down season with us the season he left, Aberdeen took him on the crest (didn't he have a horrendous run earlier that season?)but I was on record saying they had jumped the gun and he was, IMO, average.
Too defensively minded, a draw and parking the bus against the OF was his idea of fun.
Saying he was our best manager in a generation, purely on league finish is selective and omitting cup victories which should be taken into account so, no , I don't accept that.
As I mentioned earlier, there was growing criticism form the Dundee United support which has slightly abated after the win against Raith.
Let's see how he does next season in the top league.
Will this forum survive the new hate crime act?

Caught a wee snippet of the STV news last night and I think it said around 8,000 complaints had been made.
An utter nonsense and massive waste of time/money on another gimmick brought in by the SNP.
