    In fairness this could be a great move for him as Bournemouth are a forward thinking team that play some great football. They aren't short of a few quid either so we will get our compo unlike if he goes to sevco.

    Decent team, decent ground, decent money . Decent move.

    I think Kenny Mclean is more than decent.

    Mair freed by Thistle and their fans not bothered or surprised that he has gone. As I said at the time simply not good enough at Prem level. Still nedd 2 new central defenders mind but they have to be of a better standard than Mair (and Cheesy / McGregor for that matter). Lets hope he pitches up at Dundee next leaving them as good as a man down at the back from the outset.[/quote

    Are the St Johnstone or ICT central defenders any better or worse than Cheesy or Mcgregor? Unless we bring in Baresi or Maldini quality players they will still get pelters. We will get what we pay for if indeed we bring in any central defenders

    The goals against column would suggest Yes. Only marginally mind you , but yes.

    I seriously doubt that there is any credible evidence out there at the moment as to whom we're considering appointing.

    Surely the odds will be based entirely on money punted by people listening to rumours with little or no substance.

    I think the phrase is, " A fool and his money are soon parted".*

    Anybuddie know what happened when the Linespeople checked the nets at the start of the 2nd half? Our Head of Security came out and removed something from the net at the away end but what was it and why couldn't the Linesperson or a Steward remove the offending article?

    At the south stand end,they removed what looked like a small remotely operated camera from inside the goal net area & gave it to the young cameraman about 10 feet to the left of the goal. He looked a wee bit miffed .

    We turned up last minute at the ground & couldn`t get two decent seats together for the west stand, had to go in the South stand. Lo & behold, we look over to the west stand to the hundreds of empty seats, surely they cant all be season ticket holders who havent turned up ?

    The main stand also had lots of empty seats & the south , although busy ,was far from full.

    Fair play to the Jambo fans (not something i particularly like saying) they made the atmosphere what it was & their repertoire of songs was top class, great to hear them poke fun at their own situation.
