Gerry Rafferty will be turning in his grave...............
Whit? It's immense man!

I was over at my old dads yesterday, he was reading this thread and said to me that some people know the price of everything but the value of nothing.
Wise words big mac !
Did you get you new dad via a tendering process, or was he acquired through networking?

I do admit, through gritted teeth, that it looks quite nice. Shame we'll never get to see it.
Edit: here's a less fuzzy photo
Its a Rangers top, therefor it is Hackitt...
Hope our sponsors logo is so small next season, or has Tennents 'reduced' their sponsorship money?

Paisley Observatory?

Backchat was near the entrance to Forbes Place but as I remember there was another place that was just a bar , that sat almost on the crved section of that building . It was a typical mid 8ts type place with fancy couches and decor and some great music playing all day. .
That was a good bar. I thought that was Backchat.

I see that amongst their list of Creditors that they owe £40 to a kids face painting company?
Also an interesting Creditor... Renfrewshire Council...
I hope it was not for looking at plans around the area our ground?

Aye right TBL - I can just see that working out. Putting aside the fact that I have no interest in being involved beyond being a member; the fact that I'm already heavily committed in my own projects in my spare time; the fact that I work regular night shifts which would make my involvement at meetings impossible; and the fact that my wife would kill me if I volunteered for anything else - there's also the issue that I wouldn't want to sit round the same table as some of the likely parties; or the fact I'd very quickly become frustrated at having to constantly battle with the self interested nature of all senior Scottish Football Clubs; and the rather strong likely hood that the votes in my favour would probably look as pathetic as St Mirren's win record at St Mirren Park.
Go on... you know you want to....

Do you mean the SMiSA holding?
SMiSA dont have any shares AFAIK
-
The quickest way to get an answer to that from RA is to ask on the 10000Hours facebook page or 10000Hours website forum... at one point they were talking (I think) about a way of including the 48% of shareholders who are not part of the consortium.
Something like that.
My guess is that the next Shareholders AGM may well be the last.
Maybe the offer will be 1 share SMFC PLC will = 1 share in 10Khrs SMFC, who knows.
One thing I would imagine is that there may be annual dividends per share, mainly in order to 'pay off' the Consortiums 'investment' into 10Khrs SMFC.
After they are paid off... again who knows, but I am sure the St. Mirren Fans Co-Operative Constitution - when ratified by the membership - will cover those sort of things. In fact, one of the first things 10Khrs SMFC MUST produce is a draft Constitution.
Interesting times. I've no doubt that we will reach the required solo ordinary memberships (1000), however will we see 87 fans put up £3,000 each to join the 87 club? I hope i'm wrong, but thats quite a difficult target. Of course if we happened to get 2000 ordinary members, maybe 87 87s are not needed - if you catch my drift?
One things is for sure the PR, needs to be upped to spread the word.

Ah well. We'll just have to disagree on that! I thought it was very enjoyable.
War Horse a good Movie? Neigh chance!

Conspiracy to Defraud?
If RFC are allowed to get away without paying every penny back to HMRC and the other creditors, they are just stealing money out of every taxpayers pocket/purse.
Baisturts!
-
RFC have won against HMRC over who got to appoint the administrators today... Div has posted on FB that one of the partners on the firm handling the administration is a director at Ibrox... not good news for those hoping that r*ngers won't go into liquidation with debts of over £100m and try and re-emerge debt free in the SPL!
Surely a conflict of Interest?

We laughed so hard we cried
Tears welling up in my eyes
Draining off your Dublin Blue
Two more for me and you
Shaking like a bag of bones
Laughing right through to our toes
The bar and bus: they're calling time
...and we feel fine

If we got some more, would anyone be up for handing out some flyers at the R*ng*rs game?
I know it's perhaps too targeted and not very inventive but if it gets one or two on board, it must be worth it. I'll happily pull it together (meeting at 2 this time!!!) if folks are up for it?!
Have you been drinking by any chance?

Guy’s I have to perfectly frank and honest with you here. The only thing I am truly interested in is our team getting back into winning way’s starting at Aberdeen.
Though I have to give credit where it is due. Richard has a determination I admire. Here is a man putting in a large amount of time and energy so the fans will have a say and own the club. That the wider community will be closer to the club. Yet at the end of the day Richard will not control the club.
Where the CIC is today seems like a logical step in asking support from the council and local politicians. After all it’s about expanding the club to the community and vice versa. The council and MP’s look after the interest of the community after all.
Stewart Gilmour and the board have had wonderful support from the council. To me it seems a logical statement from the club.
Something I can’t get my head round. Why would any fan not want to safe guard the club and not want a say in the club.
Me neither

Que sera sera.
Indeed Scott, Que Sera Sera

Yes, or maybe some MP's/councillor's have been giving the club stick for having full inboxes. Such a short, abrput statement just leaves everyone guessing, and opens the door for wild speculation.
Like I said, strange.
I think you may well be right. They are just covering their arses IMO.
Why does any CIC related statement have to be grasped at by the anti-CIC that something is going/went wrong?

Do it! You know it makes sense!
He will not only have to stand tall, he will have to have a very loud voice and arms as long as say... Bolton to Paisley...

I synchronised the mailing database with the mail addresses for everyone that had pledged to 10000Hours. I didn't however also import the email addresses from the original list of those who had requested more information but who did not pledge.
I did not think it was right to be emailing those who perhaps weren't interested in the thing at all asking them to hand out flyers !
If you have pledged though then you were definitely emailed, so if you did not get the mail it will most likely be in your junk or spam folders or we have the wrong email address for you in the database.
If you fill in the enquiry form on the new 10000hours.org site with your details I will have a look for you.
I pledged pretty early on Div and had been getting the 10000hrs emails up till the last 2. I've checked my junk email. Nothing.
I've just registered as Vambo57 on the new 10000hrs forum before coming here, so I'm sure you can see my email addy from that? If not, let me know.
My worry is that if I'm not getting them, then others may not be too.
ETA:
I would volunteer to hand out the flyers, but have been housebound since Saturday night with a bloody virus and will be confined to house until Sunday at the earliest.
I hope you get enough volunteers... many hands make light work!

I look foward to my 2p half-yearly dividend!
