Burgh certainly going for it this season.

Seems that they're being bankrolled by a dentist who has made it big in the USA and UAE, whose parents were Burgh fans.

I know a few supporters who are boycotting next season.

Kyle Lafferty announcement on the 12th of July. Who could have predicted that?

There's no truth in the rumour that there's a name change to Johnsthun Burgh.

  2. Anyone know if their car park is open today? Heard that there's roadworks on main carriageway outside stadium
I drove by it yesterday. Down to one lane on both sides starting about halfway between the Port Glaxgow roundabout and Crappielow and ending just after Crappielow.

Scotland have Zimbabwe in real trouble. The boy Chris Sole touching 90 miles per hour. Just dropped an easy catch to get rid of the only real threat left. 35 for 3 chasing 235. If Raza had gone there the match was all but over.

Been watching since 8.00 this morning.

Looked almost down and out at one point, but bowling has been impressive so far.🤞

  4. Scotland are two victories away from qualifying for the world cup, through the super sixes.

They put out the West Indies by beating them at the weekend.

They play Zimbabwe tomorrow morning at 8.00 a.m. (on SKY sports).

If they win then they need to beat the Netherlands on Thursday. If they lose, then they're out.

A major, and a wee touch of common sense, is being brought in, initially in Holland, Italy & Sweden, change to the VAR ruiling on offside.
As most people have seen, it's the interpretation of the rules, not VAR, that's the problem.
Now the WHOLE body of the attacker, not his finger, has to be in front of the defender to be deemed offside.

I like it, but you know it will just lead to arguments about whether the attacker's big toe is or isn't ahead of the defender.

    No it won't.

We weren't going to be able to replace Hladky, we did. We weren't going to be able to replace Alnwick, we did. I just hope to fook that Hemmings isn't our no.1 for next season. ☺️

    Why?

The Killie fans are being unanimous with their praise for him and seem disappointed he's not going back to them.

The Middlesborough keeper coach has a sound reputation for developing keepers apparently.

However, the usual experts on social media seem to know better, as usual.

If we're going with Hemmings and Urminsky as our goalies we'll be lucky to keep a clean sheet. Get ready for the usual fight to avoid 11th place. I hope I'm proved wrong

Hemming was excellent in the Championship for us and I was sure he was going to handle the step up no bother, but it didn't really happen for him. It didn't help that he started the season out injured and then never really got a chance to settle himself in.

His partner posted on our forum a few days ago talking about the fact that in the first season, she and their kids had stayed up in Scotland with him, but last season they moved back down south because their oldest child was starting school, and he was basically up here by himself, which seems to have affected him a lot.

I definitely wouldn't be writing him off, I think he has all the makings of a very good goalkeeper at this level, he's big and commanding and pulled out a lot of important saves last season. There were definite similarities to Freddie Woodman when he came up here as a young keeper.

Can’t fathom out the Carson situation. He will be a big loss as he saved us many points last season.
I do feel a little concern that harmony and team spirit played a massive part on our success. Can’t help feeling we are losing this somewhat or am I overthinking it 🤷🏼

Overreaction based on one player spitting the dummy big style apparently.
