    Indeed.

All these "poor" people driving in/out to do what I wonder. 😉

Working class covers an awful lot of the population and I suspect many are reasonably well off.

I get what you're trying to indicate here but sweeping statements are usually flawed.

Paul McManus might know? He certainly felt strongly enough about it to put £100k into the court case against it.

Even more ridiculous that the SNP Health Secretary could run up roaming charges of over £11,000

That's an awful lot of porn.

Some brass neck trying to claim this on expenses right enough. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12740737/SNP-Health-Secretary-Michal-Matheson-urged-hand-iPad-parliamentary-probe-Tories-demand-used-11-000-holiday-data-bill-scandal.html

SNP Health Secretary Michal Matheson urged to hand over iPad for parliamentary probe as Tories demand to see detail of what he used it for in £11,000 holiday data bill scandal

    • Opposition leaders have demanded to see the details of what exactly the Health Secretary was using the data for during his trip

Cool, him. Different spellings from different sources so who knows who’s right/ could be both are acceptable. I’m sure most will agree it’s pretty pedantic either way. (Maybe Slarti will obsess over it with you for several years though.)

Hope he gets a shot. If he’s in the right frame of mind for the bench, he can contribute on the park IMO.

My point on that was, if we are just not going to give him any form of a chance while  our other strikers are miss-firing, doesn’t seem much point in being here.

Seems like another example of a person choosing to argue with me for the sake of arguing. That’s so 2018… :whistle

I can’t understand why he isn’t getting a run out. I have seen him play 15 minutes of football this season and score 3 goals within that time. Surely got to be ahead of Jamieson in the sub bench.

I did, and I know a few others who did. Then again, opinion isn't proof, no matter what some on here say.

I watched the two episodes of the Rolf Harris “in plain site” documentary last night. The most interesting part for me was the make up girl who was sexually assaulted on a daily basis by him and didn’t complain because he was “the talent “ she knew he was a sexual deviant and so did the other men who worked around her but did and said nothing because the production company would lose the work and there career’s would be over.

Jimmy Savile was outspoken and raised millions for charity. Should he be applauded too?

Brand is very clever - some would argue a manipulative individual. It’s hardly “breaking news” the information he raised in that TV interview. Some of the “allegations” made so far against Brand are disturbing.

Even if this does get to court….

“Since 2016-2017, the number of rapes reported (England and Wales) has increased by 67% from 42,059 up to 70,330. In 2021-2022, only 3.2 % of those were prosecuted (2,223). For those prosecuted, the conviction rate in 2022 was 62%. No statistic can provide a perfect, complete picture. The total reports include ‘historical’ allegations which are usually harder to prove. But the broad indication is that, during 2021-2022, of the 70,330 rapes reported to police only 1,378 led to a conviction. This is a conviction rate of less than 2%.“

I don’t really understand the point here AB, should we not be happy that a robust system is in place to deal with rape complaints. Are you suggesting that rape allegations should not go through a robust legal procedure because the conviction rate is low? If so that would end the justice is blind principle and the legal system in the country would become meaningless.

Albion, come on, I said, 'Oct 7 is relayed as the starting point of all this killing'.  'is relayed' suggests that society/media has the understanding that it all started on 7/10 - not me!  Look at my other posts which shows my emphasis on the lack of historical context.

Indeed, social media and parts of the reactionary youth. Similar thing happened with Ukraine last year, even though the Dumbas region was invaded in 2014!! Stupid reactionary’s

You have a very short memory,  and would be very disappointed

The IRA bombed and killed many British civilian's including children I don't remember the UK carpet bombing the Bogside or the Falls road killing innocent woman children and babies in self defence and cutting off all their life support including water...  even in times of war there are rules

No my memory is crystal clear about this actually. The IRA never mounted a deliberate incursion into the U.K. with the goal of shooting woman, children and babies at point blank range with machine guns. They also never kidnapped over 200 British citizens including 3 month old baby’s and took them back to Ireland. They did however use explosives indiscriminately which killed woman and children but that was not there direct goal as in the Hamas incident on 7/10. The IRA also used a telephone call with special password to warn of attacks. I also don’t think the IRA and Irish government wanted the British people to be completely exterminated.

I somehow get the feeling they were waiting on those Hamas idiots to give them the excuse to start this cleansing, self defence my arse and you will reap what you sow

It's absolutely disgusting how the Israeli government treat these people while the West sit and watch and do nothing to stop it, and some are helping them do it totally shameful,  and let's be clear these atrocities are not being committed by the Jewish people or there religion, but by a Zionist Government

Makes you wonder who the real terrorists are on this planet

It’s called self defence. I would hope the U.K. would do similar if a terrorist group deliberately killed 1400 woman, children and old people then kidnapped over 200 innocent citizens. Does it make you wonder who the real terrorists are? The Israeli army wear uniforms and give notice when bombing targets in Gaza. Hamas dress in civilian clothing and use the population of Gaza as human shields. Seems like a no brainer to me.

Oct 7 is relayed as the starting point of all this killing.  But immediately before, there were over 300 men women and children killed by the IDF and settlers in the West Bank, where no rockets are fired into Israel, since the start of the year, .  And, since Oct7, 154 have been killed.

Also, 2150 Palestinians in the West Bank have been imprisoned since then without charge or trial - hostages?  This adds to the thousands already in prison without trial.

Now come on! I have been watching this battle since the 70s , no one is trying to say it all started in 7/10.

I gave you the immediate proof of my assertion, referencing a recent post which illustrated your bigotry.

i won’t give the rest of your pish further light of day by re-posting it for you.

When I previously tried to engage with you (treating you as a normal poster) offering examples, facts and reality, you failed to engage.

I know that even this post is a waste of my time - which will please you.

Oh no you don’t, stop trying to escape out the back door with waffle. You made a slanderous comment about me posting bigoted content and I asked you for proof and you can’t provide it because you know fine well it doesn’t exist. The “proof “ that you provided (see below) does not meet the definition of bigotry as described in the dictionary. You couldn’t just admit you got it wrong and eat some humble pie like “all normal posters” have to do sometimes. I still stand by the comment that Irish terrorist groups never directly targeted baby’s, children and the old in there attacks which Hamas did as far as I am aware they never kidnapped over 200 civilians either.

ALL your posts are fruitcake, bigoted bollox, albionsant.  I believe that’s all the context needed.

Here's a typically bizarre example of bollox from a few hours ago…

The IRA and loyalist terrorist groups never targeted old people and children in there (sic) campaigns and almost always provided a telephone call warning prior to any bombings.”

Those must have been fantastically sophisticated homemade bombs that the empathetic IRA knitted together.

You made a statement about ALL my posts being bigoted. Can you give some proof of this assertion please. I have included a definition below to help you look as I don’t believe you understand the meaning of the term. You may find that with some reflection you were hasty in making this comment, in which case a simple apology will suffice.
