The Daily Record has tipped Ethan Ernahon as one of the youngsters in Scotland who are going places in the game.
Well he is certainly going to Wrexham soon 😉

Hope I get my 25 quids worth, robbing bastards !!
I was 50/50 about going today, however when I seen the price it was an easy decision, I won’t be giving them my money. How can they justify this price? How many fans do they bring to stmirren, 150-200 ? If they had any sense they would charge the minimum they are allowed to charge and generate more money from the food and drink sales

Good defending from a saints team who were up against a team with top quality players. When we had possession we looked calm and competent. We have the makings of a decent team and I don’t feel that we will struggle against teams outside the ugly sisters. Feeling confident about the season ahead.

Why dont you add a nonsense section so members that want banter and mischief can go in and cause chaos. If members are easily offended they should just stay out of it?
I suggested this a couple of weeks ago. We could call it the Cocktogon

I am beginning to wonder if I am missing something here.
I prefer women who don't cake themselves in fake bake tan, don't have breast implants, don't have lip fillers, don't cake themselves in make up, don't feel the need to wax everything so that their genetalia resembles that of a small child and are not absolutely obsessed over how they look.
Where are all the real women who are comfortable in their own skin an just get on with more interesting things in life?
Okay happy now

Have you ever been to Russia or interacted with Russians.
I’m assuming by your response that you’re an expert on modern Russian history?
However. Just under 9 million military personnel died during WW2 with total Russian deaths at around 19 million, so I’m not sure your reply is accurate as to what the Nazi’s did.
My initial comment was on my findings from spending years there on the Russian people and Russia in general as it is today.Russian sacrifice was huge and somewhat overlooked by historians, probably due to the iron curtain falling so quickly after the fall of Berlin. However there is no argument that Stalin was on a par with Hitler when it came to murdering civilians.
on a lighter note, Death of Stalin is an excellent film.

What a difference a year makes, I was watching the game today and thinking back to that terrible performance at Pittodrie last August (4-0) our team now looks like an SPL quality team, we could easily have been 2-3 nil up in the first half. The 2nd half had Aberdeen pressing and we just soaked it up. We had a couple of chances to wrap it up near the end, however some poor decision making from Mullen denied us a nerve free last 10 minutes. Aberdeen hit the post with a few minutes to go, then 4 minutes of nerve jangling extra time.
Defence was solid (Mckenzie’s short shorts should be mandatory for the whole team) midfield was strong, wingers were fast. I like Obika, he is strong and appears to read the game well. I think we still need another quality striker and a CB to really let the team push for a mid table finish.
Today Just highlights how bad Stubbs squad was.

It sounds like that is the end of our summer transfer business.
How do think we look?
Overall I would say fair play to Gus & Jim. We have brought in a decent standard of player and got a few on 2 or 3 year deals. It is a shame we weren't ready for the League Cup but hopefully next season there won't be a repeat.
Looking at the squad I would say;
GK - Very strong, Vaclav is one of the best in the league.
Def - Weak. Baird & MacKenzie as a centre back pairing at this level concerns me, hopefully we won't need to call on that. Waters looks a decent signing but is inexperienced. We lack depth,

Sooooooooooooo how are season ticket sales going then?

Pass marks for all new signings today. If that continues, well done Gus & right approach.
Unfortunately I couldn’t make the game yesterday, but by all accounts it was a good performance despite the result.
Hopefully this put an end to all the infighting about Gus and we can get back to supporting the best team in Scotland COYS

Right own up, who has Gus's gun?
That must be the reason, Gus didn't have a gun at there head to force them to sign months ago.
Or is it, many players have different options now and will wait before signing on the possibility of a better offer. So in some cases we lose out, but others we win. It’s a difficult one, agents fill players heads with a lot of nonsense about how talented and popular they are, then the big clubs don’t materialise and they have to look at plan B (we are plan B and sometimes C and D)
its a funny old game, I watched the Luton v Middlesbrough game last night and there is Coulson starting for Middlesbrough, won a penalty and looked every inch an English championship player!

Post from Hibs forum......................cheeky gets.
With pre-season finally out of the way, it's time for our league campaign to finally begin. We can hardly ask for a better opening game at home to St Mirren, a club who always seem to be in a state of perpetual turmoil.
Yeh and a team who always seem to get a result from them 😎
