I read somewhere, perhaps on here that we were offered Stewart but Stubbs preferred Brock Madsen. If true it shows we may still be able to attract decent quality.
Length of contract and loan deals has absolutely nothing to do with it we currently have the same amount of loans as Kilmarnock.
Kpekawa and heaton have long term contracts where are they ?

The Stubbs thing has been done to death. To me it's about looking forward. We all agree that the players at our disposal are woefully inadequate to compete at this level. Is Oran the right manager? I'm still unsure, however it took him a while to get it right at Coleraine and I feel we must afford him at least a window. Interesting times ahead. Strap yerself in.

As much as the result pains me I am hoping this is a watershed moment in our season. As much as I detest Sevco and everything they stand for I will be hoping they beat Dundee today so that we won't be bottom if they win their game in hand. 4 or 5 decent recruits in January and we can still catch Hamilton and Motherwell.

Looking forward to this game a lot more after today's effort. Hamilton are pish on their travels and I think we will make it an unbeaten run of 3 games. 2.0 again.

Why do you recommend W7 Ricky? That's where our noisiest supporters are. Think W7 is protected for the season anyway.Should be a great atmosphere. Hope that not too many Hearts fans find their way into our sections but if they do then I recommend W1 or W7. Will be there and will be making a noise as I hope all of the other 4,000 plus Saints Supporters there will be doing. Great to see crowds grow at Greenhill Road. -
Im taking the international break as a fresh start. Looking at the possible Hearts team, their recent form and the return to the team of Magennis, as well as not losing in Dundee, I'm going to boldly predict a 1.0 shitfest win for Paisleys finest.

Basil, why do you think that it will be a landslide vote to spend £500 on a community Xmas dinner? The original vote showed that only a third of the people who voted wanted it. More people thought goalposts would be better allegedly. FWIW I voted for option 3 and then yes to the £500 spend so it's something I'm in favour of.

we know the answer is shame and embarrassment on Smisa's behalf, but they should look at past vote results and instead of always weighting it in the club's favour, actually have checks and balances to ensure the community options have a chance of being voted through!
but hey now Smisa have bought a second set of goalposts, and we had the vote on buying matchballs, logic may conclude that if you get a set of nets thrown in with every purchase of goalposts??? Then the next vote should see the club putting forward a fully costed option on getting some new Line Paint bought from the smisa bank!
