  1. Motherwell are awful. And much better than us. Our only hope this season now is that Dundee stay shite.
Where do you start with that?
Outfought outthought out of our depth. Midfield were a disgrace. McGinn needs dropping. But for who? No desire. No energy. No leadership. Edwards is so negative. Flynn hopefully won't play for us again. Strikers were isolated. As a 'football playing team' we can't do it. Defence all at sea. Bad game from Samson. 3 points from Sevco please.

  2. Top priorities were youth academy, community and improve matchday experience.  New hand driers that are better than the old ones would improve the facilities (matchday experience) if people don’t like that option though, don’t vote for them, very simple.
I don’t think it’s a good option and haven’t voted for it  I’m not going to cry over it and ignore the positivity regarding the other varied options presented though.
People focusing on that, proves some people will only ever focus  on negatives .
I maintain anyone dropping out of BTB purely on options for the £2 spend (a fraction of the important £10/ £23 that’s actually going towards securing the club we all supports long term future) is exceptionally shortsighted.
I get that new dryers will enhance match day experiences and I get that you won't be voting for them so we are in agreement. I just think it's a routine maintenance cost. I'm not being negative I'm being concerned. I think soft quilted toilet paper would enhance the experience too [emoji1]
Anyhoo I voted for option 3. Hope you did.
  3. Three options, each tie into the top three priorities as picked by members. Some people are never happy default_whistling.gif

    Option one for me.

I'm not allowed an opinion? I didn't think that my SMISA money would be used to pay for routine maintenance Basil. I think it's a joke. Can you show me the results of the vote where people asked for cold air hand dryers? Cheers.

  4. All about opinions eh? Thought we were quite even in the first half but sensed that killie were already coming back in to it. Hope Ferdinand is ok as we need him on the park and as soon as I realised he wasn't coming back after the break I feared the worst. So did the players. Second half I thought we were slower and weaker than Kilmarnock and probably got what we deserved. Great support from Killie except that cringey as f**k *** song they sing. Utterly embarrassing

  5. Even more abuse than usual this week. Absolutely loving your feedback guys, keep it coming.

    Back to the football.

Assuming we don’t win at Pittodrie next week, OK will have had a worse start than AS did.

OK will have had 2 or 1 point(s) from his first 4 league games. AS got 3 points from 4 league games (and got us out our league cup group) before he was sacked.

The question then becomes, now we’ve accepted that sacking a manager with 3 points after 4 games is okay, where do we draw the line for the current manager?

Of course the scenario here is OK says my team is losing every week cause it’s Stubbs players. He could say I can’t motivate and organise this group of players to an extent that they avoid a 3 zip hounding in Hamilton.

Not saying this will happen, but we could feasibly be 5+ points adrift at the bottom by Christmas (not unlikely when you look at the fixtures) and OK could claim diminished responsibility.

    Perhaps he has a point.

We’re now stuck with a bizarre scenario where we have a manager who was deemed not up to it by our board when he was first interviewed in May.

Who could have a worse record than the guy who they thought was up to it in May, but the current manager can’t be sacked because he couldn’t sign his own players because he wasn’t good enough for the job (according to our board) in the first place.

    Thanks Gordon!

You do know that AS wasn't sacked only because he had 3 points from 4 games.

    You're trying too hard Lex.

After your one man mission against our 2nd last manager you should really learn to give it a rest.

Im not sure if you do it for attention or just like winding people up but it's getting tiresome.

Still, at least you're consistent [emoji1]

  6. Hi all
After my failed first attempt at my first post on here, here is really what I should have put.
I look forward to reading and responding to the various posts and topics on here.
Coming from a family with a long history with St Mirren football club, and with myself and 3 of my children season ticket holders it's been hard this last few weeks missing the games, due to the ill health of our 4 month old daughter.
So I've come on here to keep up to date will all the banter and gossip that I now miss on the terraces.
I again apologise for my very stupid attempt at a first post and look forward to many more posts!
Hope your daughter gets better soon bud. That's what is important.
  7. The only way we can get rid of them is if Sevco go bust like their predecessors. Celtic will then lose a bit of their bigoted fan base but make up the numbers with glory hunters as they will just power on regardless. Possibly then they may get invited to join another league. Who knows?

  8. I have just got round to read the drivel spouted by Gordon Parks in the rag that masquerades as a newspaper. He comes across as a slavering simpleton with his assumptions. A toxic dressing room that is ruled by player power? Only a few months ago we were runaway champions of the league we were in, I'm sure that it wasn't toxic then. Having a dig at GLS for getting rid of Stubbs because he wasn't a football man and so knew nothing, forgetting that GLS was the guy who gave Jack Ross his platform. If we are successful under OK he will feel vindicated in saying the players chose not to perform for Stubbs. If we aren't he will feel the same and say it's our fault that we binned him too early. Davy Provan is the same with his pish.
Let's get it right up the lot of them.

  9. Just home. Great night. What a signing Ferdinand is , especially for Baird who I thought was superb. Great first half performance. When they went down to 10 men I thought for a brief moment we could win. 2nd half Celtic dominated the ball as we sat back however Celtic were bigger fitter faster and stronger, even with 10. Thought Scott Brown was immense tonight unfortunately. Our season started tonight and I am optimistic. COYS
