Are we sure it's as CEO that Sir Tony is returning? As a player he would appease the "Agnew is shite" fans, would appease the "midfield cant pick a pass" fans and best of all would appease the "coloured boots are for fannies" fans. C'mon Rae get him signed.

Sorry Div, that's not what we meant when we said Agnew should never wear the stripes again

Being the perfect age for a Bowie fan - I was 12 when i saw him doing that performance of starman on TOTP, been a fan ever since. survived the shit decade (82-92), the non existent decade (03-13), revelled in the glory years (all the rest) amazed at the quality of "The Next Day" since I'd assumed he retired 10 years earlier, loved "Blackstar" though I feel a bit mean now complaining it only had 7 tracks, saw his Isolar tour (appollo) and his serious moonlight tour (murrayfied).
So far the tribute shows have been a bit poor, though the bbc's 5 years documentary is definitely worth watching, but not new, hopefully somebody will do a worthwhile one now (BBC4 maybe).
I have never understood the public outpourings of grief when somebody famous dies, if you don't know them personally why ??? If any public figure would have made me change my view, it would've been Bowie, my view hasn't changed though selfishly I'm sad that somebody I have relied on to provide me with the music I love is no longer around to do so.

Rae wasn't my choice by any means but I liked the way he constantly tries to influence the game from the sidelines, and I also admire the comments that he was worried about what he saw in the dressing room and what he saw during the game - I think we were all pissed of with Ian Murray's "everything's great and we're very close to where we want to be" pish.

Same team as last week and hopefully the same result

Confidence is so important, a first home win followed by a derby win, on top of yesterday's result and we should see an entirely different St Mirren (hopefully)

Alex wouldn't have been my first choice but here's hoping he proves me and the other doubters wrong starting today

Tony Fitzpatrick in today's PDE says we are a scottish top 6 side - so it must be true.
-
McMullan did look good until that tackle, maybe he now thinks getting an injury in the championship is beneath him and that he should protect himself, Gallagher works at least, howieson and shankland have shown glimpses though been mostly shit, maybe a new manager could make players of them all.

done, good luck Kimberley.

we're never going to all agree with each other on this one - personally i thought Gus's football was bad to watch so i thought his time was up but i would have renewed Danny's contract. i felt he had learned some hard lessons with us and was a better manager when we let him go than he was when we initially signed him. however i know from threads on here that other fans thought the opposite - that we should've kept Gus and that Danny's time was up.. We only agree when things are really shit (TC & Murray had to go, and should've gone sooner) and when things are great (77-87 anyone, European football, 3rd place finishes, Scottish cup win etc.) hopefully the new manager will unite us all again but this time for the right reasons.
